I looked at the website to order something digital. Then I started looking at the scrapbook board and from there I arrived here.

My neighbor said, "you have to check out this website." That was before 2001, but I don't know when. When the change happened I lost my original number and date. My last date started not long before my son was boar and I know it was quite some time before that.

When I first started scrapbooking I found ScrapJazz. Once I joined in on the forums there I kept reading chatter about the 'veggie girls.' I thought I would check it out.

I was a CTMH consultant and I was looking on thier boards and I think some people kept referencing 2Peas so I went over to check it out. First I stuck mainly to the General Scrapping and Buy and Sell but stumbled upon NSBR and the rest is history. I think this was in about 2005. My youngest was 4.

Old peas, I was looking for a scrapbook item and stumbled across them. I posted maybe a handful on the old message boards. Alot of the posters were mean and I remember saying to myself, why? It was always funny to read some crazy story. I'm glad I found this place, I like the openness here, most don't stay mad, they speak up and move on.

When I first started scrapping I was like 19 my two oldest were babies and my MIL introduced me to CM. I started looking online for contests to enter (I even won a few!) and found 2peas. I didn't even realize the NSBR existed for probably at least a month or two. I found it one day when checking out the forums, and I remember reading this post about some crazy house with massive amount of mirrors pointing in every direction. It was someone's neighbor. I was so entertained by that thread, I started looking around and got hooked! I found this board on accident. I was actually commiserating one day to my brother about two peas going down. (He was like 14 when I first started using it, and he was at my house all of the time. (hanging out at his sister's house was more fun than staying at home sometimes He understood how much I enjoyed it and for how long. He told me his SO used baby center, and it was the same... and that I should check it out. This is the strangest story, but a little entertaining I suppose! Well guess what? I went over there and I found his SO had posted all kinds of weird stories about my family, that weren't even close to truth. I mean as far as lying like "My ILs gave my SIL a house for free and she doesn't pay a cent!" and weird stuff like that completely not even close to the truth. It was so bazaar. She even had said she thought my brother was sleeping with my 19 year old daughter... That's funny, since NONE of us had even heard a tiny thing about this story, or accusation from her not even my brother! They were happily living life like it was normal! It's like some weird type of Munchhausen by-proxy or something! She was making up fake stories about real people to garner attention from these strangers over the internet! Needless to say after that drama, and realizing that that board must be full of people like that, or in the very least in encourages that kind of crap... I didn't want to read and post there. So I started looking to see if I could find peas anywhere. You know the rest! Found you guys!

I started scrapbooking and joined 2peas in 2003 and posted in the GS forum but lurked daily in NSBR. Our wonderful Admin had this site up and running in what seemed like a few hours after 2peas closed. Found a link to the refupeas the same day and joined.

Like others have mentioned, I started off at dMarie then onto Scrapjazz. I honestly have no recollection of how I "found" 2 Peas, but once I found it I stayed there. I was also a member of an Australian scrapping site but that eventually died off for some reason.

I saw reference to it other places, and started out on the GS board and spent quite some time on the other sections before I ventured into NSBR. I had no idea what it even was at first, so I lurked and read and learned. I was very hesitant to post for a long time even after I joined. I never bought anything from the store.
I was really bummed when it went down. The next day I thought to Google Two Peas closing and almost immediately found this board and was so relieved that I hadn't "lost" all the online people and information and entertainment that I'd become so attached to over the years.

I had just gotten my first Cricut and went on the message board over there. They were talking about how horrible the ladies on the "veggie board" were, naturally I had to go on over and join up!

I found Two Peas from a Yahoo group and I was told about it at a class at the LSS.
Refugees I am not sure how I found it. Reddit or Facebook? Someone did Peamail me on Two Peas. Traci Claiborne, did you send out emails? I want to say it was you but that might be a lie. Someone Peamailed me and I got the info that way too.

I was swapping at the PaperCrafts magazine swap board and hanging around at the forum there. Just a little bulletin board, really, and very tame compared to NSBR. This was before PCMB was folded into the CKMB. It was so small that we didn't have our own gallery, so we all joined 2peas and used the gallery there and linked back to PCMB. So that was 2004 or 2005. Once in a while I would read the NSBR and maybe post something, but no one ever responded to me so I would wander off again. So then one of my local Club Scrap friends told us about the first Donna Downey scandal and I came over to read about it. 2009? And I posted something. And then I came back the next day to read the latest. And then I read some more threads and came back to keep up with those, too. And someone talked to me, and then more people talked to me, and then suddenly it was years later and I was still there. I was on one of the Facebook groups that popped up in the wake of 2peas closing down, and registered here the first day. Loved reading everyone's stories.

I found the "old" two peas listed in a scrap magazine. Do not remember which one. I started on the scrapping board there and then hit the NSBR and pretty much stayed there. I've made some life long friends through that site. We started a RAK group that was quite large and is now about 30 of us who truly care about each other.

People on scrapbook addicts mentioned a spat going on . At 2 peas... I came to see Me too. I never went to dMarie, but I remember the name. It must have been a pretty interesting board as a lot of Peas were there. I didn't take a screen shot of my old pea profile, but I think I was there 11 years.

I lived in New York in 2001/02. I first discovered scrapbooking on QVC whilst I was over there. I ordered a K & Company TSV kit and got hooked on scrapbooking. I discovered Two Peas online and went crazy ordering everything. I joined the forum but mainly lurked. When I came back to the UK I was still addicted to scrapbooking but didn't spend much time on the forum. Over the following years I have been on and off for various personal reasons. 3 years ago I moved house and got my self settled. I converted a dusty old summerhouse into my craft room and so began shopping for scrapping stuff again. I was amazed to find my user name came up when I logged into the online shop with my email address so I started looking at the forum again. I'm trying not to lurk so much here at 2peasrefugees because I was a bit scared to post on the old forum! ETA to remove unwanted question marks!

I am thinking I found the CKMB and they kept talking about the Peas or the Veggie Board, and checked it out. For a long while I wasn't active on 2Peas, but then when CKMB underwent so many changes, and then finally closed, I started hanging out at 2Peas, and then when they went under, found this home.

I came from UKScrappers. Somebody posted a link to one of the "classic" threads (possibly glueing the hoo-ha to the bath?) around 2006 and I had a look and never escaped again.
