Just want to say thank you as well. This was my first time participating. I knew I might be a little blue this holiday season as it was the first year ever completely on my own without any family visiting so I decided to do it. Turns out I wasn't blue (made sure to make lots of plans with friends), but the cards really brightened each day. I have them displayed prominently, and can't seem to take them down yet. I love the idea of making a small book for them....I might actually have a stash of cardstock and maybe some patterned paper to make one.
Also....while I sent store bought cards this year, y'all have me thinking that I might just make them next year....I received some LOVELY homemade cards which got me itching to paper craft again!

My dear friends. Thank you all for your wonderful cards. I wish I could have send you all cards but my budget did not allow it I want to thank Angie for her work. I was a bit late to send my cards but next year I will start earlier to make the cards and send them also earlier. I want to send love and peace to you all especially to the peas I could not send cards to. Happy new year Asta

I received 78 cards some international and a lot from the states. I sent to everyone. It looks so festive in my downstairs half bath (the only place I have a louver door). I got the idea from someone else on here who displays their cards that way. I just had them in a pile before because there were so many.

I cannot even begin to thank you all! My husband suffered a stroke 16 months ago and has only been home for the past 3 months. Needless to say, these cards put a smile on his face. That was worth everything right there.
Will do this again.

Ladies I meant to post on here earlier, but my mom ended up in the hospital Christmas Eve and it has been crazy so I haven't been online much. I truly loved participating in this exchange and can't wait for next year! I am starting my cards early (especially since I bought a bunch of stamps for 70% off and can't wait to use them!) I sent out about 100 but want to do the international peas next year as well! I still have them all on display and plan to incorporate them into my scrapbooks! Thank you all! I loved getting each and every card!!

Everyone is welcome to sign up as long as you do so before the deadline. There has to be a deadline so everyone knows the final count and has all the addresses. The deadline was earlier this year so that people could get the cards out earlier so we could enjoy them for a longer period and I know for me it was easier getting them done before everything got busy with Christmas activities. So start watching for the sign up around October this year.

Thank you all so much for the beautiful cards - we really enjoyed them! I'm sorry that I not only sent y'all store bought cards, but I wrote almost nothing in them...we were in the midst of packing and our first house purchase, and I was beside myself with stress. Your cards were such a bright spot.

I want to thank Angie for organizing this year. Angie you did a great job! Thank you! Also a huge thank you to the peas. My husband and I, and my family, enjoyed your cards. Between my being sick and the events in Paris we weren't expecting much from this holiday season but the cards were awesome and put a smile on a lot of faces. THANK YOU PEAS! The hand-made cards were beautiful. I'm actually saving several of them; I plan on using the front as a journaling card in either my DD or other holiday scrapbook. I can't wait till next Christmas. Thanks everyone.

Ditto that, Angie ... you're the best! Thank you! I never did get the last of my cards out, but I started making new year's cards, so who knows, it may still not be too late.

Sorry for bumping this old thread, but I just got another card (well half a card anyway) in the mail today! It's from the Draper Family, Megan I think as the return address is not complete. So the swap is still spreading happiness!!!
