Thanks for the speedy reply Angie! I did the exchange last year and loved it! Time to start making cards!

If tagging with the display name doesn't work, click on the person's name and it will take you to their member info. Find the Username (over toward the right side of the screen) and it will be different from the display name (we know that because tagging didn't work). So then you tag the actual Username and it will show up on the post as the display name you're accustomed to seeing, all nice and tagged and all. In your case, I just need to tag your display name because it's the same as your Username. heartlandBut for Angie, I have to tag her Username (angie) which is different from her display name **Angie**. **Angie**Thanks Lucy...hopefully I remember that all when I need to know again! And basically you're saying that it's all **Angie** 's fault cause she has two names! Hey, I was working through my shock at 2peas closing. I'm surprised I got the **____** correct.

@ **Angie** I would be glad to send international- unless of course their numbers grew to outweigh us in Us.

I'll send internationally as well, but the international RPeas don't need to worry about sending to me. I'm just excited to be able to participate again this year!

You send cards to as many of the 84+(I'm sure there will be more than 84 it's still early) peas as you want. I sent to the whole list last year and I will send to everyone this year but I know not everyone did. No one is taking notes and complaining because they didn't get a card from everyone so just send as many as you would like to.

Thanks for explaining. I would love to do it but with the ridiculous postage coasts here it would cost me hundreds if dollars to send so many given they would pretty much be all overseas.

I'm not sure that I should even request this, but here goes. My dd and her 3 children are going through the most horrific divorce in the history of divorces, please trust me on this. If I was to go into detail after detail you would think I was being untruthful. I was hoping to give her name and address as to where to send cards meant for me. I in return will be sending out christmas cards with my return address label on them. I am not trying to dodge my address.
This could start an issue of others having family members in dire need of holiday cheer, so I am not sure that this would work. I live by myself without many guests who would even see my cards. I know that my dgc would be so excited to receive cards from The Peas.
Please reply as to what is right in this regard.

I have no issue.... as long as she is aware of why strangers are sending cards.

We sent to everyone, couldn't see why you would pick and choose, it didn't seem right. I think it's a huge commitment of time and money to send to the entire list. I never tried to do that. I pick a random mix of peas I "know" and complete strangers to send to, and then anyone who sends me a card gets one back, too. Oh, I try to send to all the international peas, too. Don't get me wrong, I think it's lovely that you and anyone else who sends to the entire list does it ... but I don't think you can expect everyone to do the same thing.

Keep us posted if you need to round up card senders.

Nope not expected, we set aside 100 for postage after last year. It has become a tradtion, not expected, it's just what we do".

Thanks for explaining. I would love to do it but with the ridiculous postage coasts here it would cost me hundreds if dollars to send so many given they would pretty much be all overseas. That was my situation the last year I did it... I ended up asking if anyone collected stamps/postmarks from Canada and sent to them since it would help with that collection of theirs too... And then it was a bit of a draw... Postage here is divided between domestic, USA, and International, so I bought up a couple books of stamps for each group and sent until I ran out of stamps... Domestic stamps here in Canada are $0.85, USA are $1.20, and International are $2.50 just as a reference...

Send me a PM with her address and if I can't get one out to her before the Christmas deadline, I'll send one for a happy new year/fresh beginnings if that's okay...

I'm not sure if it's okay to post this here, but since everyone here is interested in sending cards I thought I would... It's got it's own thread with all the info so no hijack to this thread - head over if you want to read about it and/or participate... 2peasrefugees.boards.net/thread/29512
