Yes, my son and I both are left-handed.
My dad was left-handed before he was changed by a teacher (a child during the Great Depression it was common back then).
One of my nephews is, and both of DH siblings are and one of his nephews are as well.

Both my sons are left-handed, and all of their male cousins are lefties as well

I'm a lefty however I write with my right hand. Catholic school, late 50s, those nuns were adamant about using your right hand to write.

I'm not but two of my four kids are. My son is a lefty all the way whereas my daughter writes and draws with her left, eats with her left but when it comes to sports she uses her right. My younger brother is a lefty as was my older brother but he also went through Catholic school in the late 50's and he was forced to use his right like lindas.

I am in that I write with my left hand but do everything else right handed. My sister who is 18 months older is a true lefty and I'm convinced she taught me how to hold a crayon when I was little so I used my left hand like she did! Kind of a reverse of what many left handed people experience.

I am a leftie/lefty. My father is also left handed (my grandmother is also, but is more ambidextrous). At work you can tell when I have made a check mark because it is backwards to everyone else's. My shoes never stay tied (even if I double and triple knot them), friends say it is because I'm a leftie/lefty. Eta: what is the proper spelling...leftie or lefty?

My father was a leftie. He payed sports with his left hand, because that left spin is an advantage. He was an engineer, so that hit the facts. One grandson is a leftie.

My FIL was a lefty but none of the others in DH's family are. I have one niece who is, but I think the rest of their family are rightys.

My parents were both right-handed and 3 out of the 4 children are left handed. Pretty amazing.

I am and so are at least four generations on my dad's side. My grandmother was forced to switch to her right hand in school but she is still left-hand dominant. It's fascinating to me how strong the left-handed gene is on that side. On my mom's side, everyone is right-handed. My brother is right-handed like my mom. We were 1/2 and 1/2 in our household.

I am a lefty and so was my dad. I can do a lot of things with my right hand as well. I can cut paper with my right (although I have lefty scissors for cutting fabric), and I can write with my left hand while I am using a calculator with my right. I bowl, golf, and play tennis as a lefty.
I'm left eye dominant as well, even though I have much better vision in my right eye.
I've taken several of those right brain/left brain quizzes over the years, and my results typically show that I am balanced equally between the two.
ETA: I also knit left-handed. Same technique as a righty, just the mirror image.

I'm a lefty. Both of my kids are righties. Out of all my siblings and their kids, we only have one other lefty in the group.

my mother is a lefty - she tells the story about how she had atrocious handwriting in school because the nuns (Catholic school, early 40s) made her write with her right hand. She got rheumatic fever and her mum homeschooled her for a year-ish while she recovered and was amazed at her beautiful handwriting...with her left hand.
I have incomplete dominance - I'm right handed for small motor skills (sewing, writing) and lefthanded for big motor skills (catching, throwing, archery) - when I reach for something, I reach with my left hand.
Three right-handed children - although 2/3 are left eye dominant (as are DH (also a rightie) and myself)

I'm a southpaw just like my maternal grandmother, but no one else in the family is left-handed. The only thing I do left-handed is write, every thing else, including using scissors, I use my right hand.

DS2 is a lefty, but only when it comes to handwriting. He eats, golfs and plays hockey right handed.

I'm a lefty as are my 2 oldest children. I have an aunt who was forced to write right handed as a child and has sad handwriting. I have a niece who is left handed and my sister wanted to make her use her right hand because she thought lefties had too many issues. One of the few times we really got into an adult fight. I was highly upset about it.

My sister tried real hard to keep her children right handed.

I'm a lefty and so are 2 out of 3 kids. Our twin boys are also mirror twins so one is a lefty and the other is right handed.
