I can't decide if I want to do a Halloween theme on my nails or go with a soft fall color. What are you wearing right now and do you like to do holiday themed nails? Right now, I have on Madam Glam gel polish in Stardust. It's my first Madam Glam polish and it's stunning. I loved the application and wear too. I'll definitely be buying more.

Love these threads!
White deck stain right now! I have been painting the railings of the deck and can't get the paint off of my fingernails. I guess nail polish remover would work!
I have Keeping Suzi at Bay on my toes. Want to do OPI Nein Nein on my nails.

Pointer is a L'oreal jelly, ring is Butter London Bramble, the others are OPI L.A.M.B., the glitter is Crows Toes VooDoo. Kind of just a fun Halloween-ish mani I did while watching a movie.

That's so pretty ZG! Definitely a classier take on Halloween than what I may do. How do you get such nice shots of your nails? I can't ever seem to get something decent without using my DSLR which I'm just not willing to do for pics of my nails.

I'm currently wearing a vampy dark, dark red, but I pulled out my collection of Hallowe'eny nail polishes and am planning on going themed this week.

I can't ever seem to get something decent without using my DSLR which I'm just not willing to do for pics of my nails. It's just my phone. That lamp works well for me because it seems to give the best amount of light to let my phone focus. Thanks! I will say I was really disappointed when I went from my Galaxy S3 to the S5 because the S5 doesn't have a macro like the S3 did. But I've been able to work around it. I'll probably change the pointer finger because it's not quite what I wanted, but this was just for fun. I like doing my nails, I find it relaxing.

Nothing right now. Don't do my fingers as I have to keep my nails short for work and can't wear polish. Keep my toes done all during sandal season but that's about over, so giving them a rest.
Love that silver glitter Glam polish, will definitely get some for next summer's toes!

I do liked themed nails...but there's no holidays here currently so I won't be doing that until Christmas.
At the moment I have am wearing an OPI sand 'Alcatraz Rocks' and on my ring finger OPI 'Road House Blues' with a matte top coat. I added a couple of rhinestones, and painted over them with the matte top coat as well. I wasn't sure what would happen, but it makes them look like a moonstones rather than sparkly gems which I quite like.

Pretty! I always like matte finish on other people, but not when I have it on myself. There's no Halloween in Australia?

There's no Halloween in Australia? Nope...well that's not strictly true, the major retailers have been pushing it and it is starting to creep in a little via the influence of American TV shows etc. There is a small selection of 'themed' products available in supermarkets and they are trying to push it as well, obviously they'd be very happy for something between Easter and Christmas that involves people buying lots of candy and chocolates. I think in some areas parents with younger kids do a mini trick or treat, but I've never had anyone in our area. traditionally though, no we've never celebrated Halloween (or Thanksgiving either!) Plus it's a little different as it's spring here now too, so the whole autumn/falling leaves/pumpkin thing doesn't really make sense when all the flowers are out and the trees are in blossom and we've already had 35C (95F) temps where I am.

Good point about pumpkins and such not really working for you weather. If I remember right in Australia there's all kinds of Santas doing summer activities on things instead of being in the snow and whatnot for Christmas.

Frosting from the cupcake I just ate I rarely polish my nails, so they are usually just bare.

I was going to reply that I've never done my nails in a holiday theme, but then I remembered that last year for the first time ever I bought a gorgeous gold sparkly nail polish for Christmas. I think it was Mac. Tinaev, I just LOVE the Madam Glam, it's really pretty. I rarely wear nail polish on my fingernails, but my toes are never naked. My toenails are magenta at the moment. There's no Halloween in Australia? Never ever when I was a child. In the last maybe 5 years a few people are starting to do it. My son and his cousin have been doing trick or treat for a few years now. MIL always decorates her house. Her street is very popular with trick or treaters. There are a LOT of anti-Halloweeners here. This popped up on my Facebook feed the other day, and it pretty much sums up the feelings of most people: Nevertheless, my son will do it this year. It's daylight savings though so it's not even dark when the kids are out.

My finger nails are black out by silly Hansen xtreme wear with black cat glitter from old navy over,
My toe nails are pewter liquid brand with silver sinful colors over.
For Halloween, I will be painting my finger nails neon pop from salon perfect with sinful colors glow in the dark over.
My polish jobs in my fingers last all of about 4 days before they chip and get crappy looking and I end up taking it off and doing something different. Lol

I don't like themed nails in the sense of little pictures painted on them etc but I do sometimes like to do seasonal colours and do things like red nails with a gold glitter accent nail at Christmas. Zee I love yours! I'm wearing Black Cherry Chutney by OPI and lovely dark, rich red/black.

Well I'm getting old. Unless one still has -teen at the end of their age, I don't like glitter. I don't like the black-tipped nails I've been seeing. I don't like holiday decorated nails, which look as ridiculous to me as those ugly Christmas sweaters. Tacky all. At most, a single nail on one hand with bling is acceptable. As I said, I'm getting old.

Maybe more of them wish they wouldn't be judged for having glittery nails while no longer having "teen" on the end of their age. What a bummer to have to limit fun to age 19. I get you, to a point, about what things look better on younger women, but nail polish isn't something with limits IMO.

I'm sure you look very nice in your sparkly polish. It's just not for me.
