I'm in search of a ruffly white apron from a brick and mortar store.
DD is going as a creepy, broken doll for Halloween. She will be working in a haunted house, so it is appropriate and not too scary. She has practiced her makeup, and we found a great dress at a resale store. She thinks the apron would be the perfect finishing touch. We were headed out to find one tonight with Saturday set aside for backup shopping time, but our neighborhood just decided to move Trick or Treat to tomorrow night due to potentially bad weather on Saturday.
Is anyone else searching for pieces to finish up a Halloween costume?

I had a ten year old boy come through for me with a toy light saber today. I'll be Princess Leia in school tomorrow. I told my class that I'd be dressing up as a princess in school and I think they'll be amused that I show up as a Star Wars princess.

I made the mistake of going to the thrift store yesterday. It was both A) half-price Wednesday and B) the week before Halloween! I did find grey bottoms and a top to glue aluminium foil to. The science teachers are going to be elements tomorrow and I am aluminum.

I'd try your local thrift shops if you can't find any in the costume aisles at the regular stores. I'm thinking a Raggedy Ann costume might have one if you don't mind buying the whole costume to get it. I'd probably try Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc. first though. I love her costume idea!

Bed Bath and Beyond will have regular white aprons. They may or may not have a ruffly one. In a pinch, you could get the regular white apron and some material and some fabric glue and glue on a ruffle of some sort.

Sam's Club sells basic white aprons. You could embellish it a bit, maybe?

A restaurant supply store will have a plain white apron, uou could glue on ruffle ribbon easy enough.

Thanks for all the ideas! We ended up buying ribbon to accessorize instead of the apron. I think she is going to have fun getting her look just perfect.

Your local Gordon Food Service Store would have one 'GFS'

I just made two white aprons last night. One is a white chef's apron, one is a waist apron bistro-style. I needed them for our family's Bob's Burger costumes. The white fabric was on sale at Hancock's so I think I paid maybe nine dollars for both of them. Sewing and Halloween go together like peanut butter and jelly.
