My name is Lisa. I got to thinking about it the other day, there doesn't seem to be any old Lisa's and not any young Lisa's either. Everyone I know named Lisa (myself included) was born in the mid 60's to mid 70's. Do you know anyone named Lisa and how old would you say they are?

IRL I do. One is 51. The other is probably in her late 30's of early 40's. I know a handful of Peas that are Lisas too.

The Lisa's I know (I can think of 4 off the top of my head) were all born in the decades you listed.

I know several Lisas from high school, born between 1958 and 1963 as well as a few who are in their early 40s now.

My best friend's twin sister is named Lisa. She was born in 1988.
ETA : The woman who does my mom's nails is also named Lisa. If I had to guess, she's in her mid-40's.

I have known many Lisas and all were born in the 60s and 70s, but then that fits the description of most of my friends. Ditto Kelly and Jennifer and Michelle, Amy and Lori, etc etc

Is Lisa such a weird name that no one is naming their kids it? Not weird, just not popular. Maybe it will cycle back into favour in another 20 or 30 years!

I work with two Lisas - both born in 60s/70s. I think it was just one of those trendy names, like Jennifer or Heather or Kristen. Not seeing many of those born since the 70s, either.

I'm Alisa and I was born in the 70's. My SIL is Lisa and she's born in the 60's.
Another Lisa that I know was born in the 80's. Her parents really wanted to name her Liesl but were concerned no one would ever get it right, so went with Lisa instead.
It was definitely more popular in the 60s-70s.

My dd had a Lisa in her high school band. Lisa just graduated, so I'm guessing she's 18? I also know a few Lisa's my age (40s) and one in her late 20's. I just remembered that I work with a Lisa and she's probably late 20's too.

My SIL is a Lisa. She is my age so born in 1968. My DH works with a Lisa, I would guess she is early 30's. Those are the only ones I can think of. I know I went to school with a bunch of Lisa's.

I went to school with a Lisa, she would've been born late '79 or early '80.

I know several Lisa's - all born in the 60s. But, since I was born in the 60s, that makes sense. I don't know a ton of people outside my age group.

The Lisa that I know just turned 40 last November.
I do school photography so I see kids of all ages. I don't remember seeing any Lisas. But I also noticed that there are no Karens either, which is my name. I was born 1961.

I have a good friend named Lisa, who was born in 1971. There were also quite a few Lisa's that I went to school with ( graduated in 1990).

My SIL is named Lisa, she was born in 1972. And I had a friend in HS named Lisa--she would have been born in 1969 or 1970.
Jennifer--I feel like I've known a million Jennifers, all born around 1970. It's funny how names go from popular to never-heard-again!
