Mine is located at the top of our 2nd level so completely open to anyone going upstairs. I have 2 double hung windows that face the front of the house so tons of natural light plus I can see anyone driving up to the house. In my room I have a 5x5 Expedite that holds the majority of my supplies. I also have a desk/table, a small bookcase that has a TV sitting on top along with 2 arm chairs (great for chilling and/or watching TV). The flooring is hardwood as is the rest of the upstairs. I do have a large area rug. Yes, I have to keep the space clean, but it really isn't too hard most of the time.

My basement is a finished apartment, so my scrap room is the basement kitchen. I have two built-in shelves and a desk (all made by my then-65-yr-old mother) and then a bank of 4 kitchen cabinets and a sink. The only problem with it is that the only natural light I get is from the door to the outside.

I set up a space at one end of the LR, behind the sofa.
I bought a cheap table at IKEA, so I can glue, cut, or paint on it without worry. I have an armoire to corral my paper (overflow in basement). I scored a 27 drawer cabinet with letter size drawers. Most of my embellishments are in that. I have a rolling cart with hanging folders for cardstock.
I'd love more space, but I like the location, right in the heart of things. I can easily talk to DH in the FR off the kitchen.

small, very small. It was originally the 3rd bedroom in this house. When the attic was finished the stairs to the attic took about 1/3 of the room. This is before I moved in. Now I can't even walk in! Time to put crap away. Attachments:

i have a closet (it is a large-ish closet) for scrapbooking and another large closet for sewing. everything for each craft is in its respective closet including my scrap desk and my sewing table and if it gets too full then something must go because i refuse to let myself outgrow my space(s). i have been ruthless with purging supplies over the last year and a half because i used to have a relatively large room all to myself so i worked pretty hard to fill the room!

My scrap space is in my finished basement and we call it the art room. It's a walkout basement, so I actually have great natural light from two big windows, a door to outside and two smaller windows. There's a full bath off the room, so I have a sink nearby and there's a walk in closet, but I use it for off season clothes, so there's not scrap stuff actually in the closet. I have two Expedit knock-off shelves from Walmart and two 7 drawer Rubbermaid/Sterilite units plus an old chest of drawers that holds the majority of my supplies except paper. Paper is stored in a set of Jetmax cubes I've had for at least 8 years that sits right under the windows. My actual work space is a kitchen island with a butcher block top I got at Big Lots and then I have an old, beat up kitchen table and chairs. The kids usually sit there and color or paint while I scrap.
The whole room is pretty big--it probably measures 13 x 15 or so. I've never actually measured it. Long term, my son will move down into this room when he's older and I will take over his bedroom, which is smaller, but still plenty big enough for what I need. I don't have a ton of stash and I try to be very disciplined about not letting stuff pile up just because I have the room for it.

My studio is a loft/office that opens up onto our high-ceiling living room. I like it because I can be in my own space, but still be part of what's going on downstairs. Until a couple of years ago, it was the kids' computer gaming and study room. It has a corner computer desk for my Silhouette setup. I added a Costco project table and matching 8-cube shelf unit for albums and paper collections.
Embellishments are kept in a variety of items from around the house, including shoe pockets that used to hold Barbies, cupboards that were American Girl doll furniture, and a CD rack that once held Lego containers. One of these days I'll take some chalk paint to all of it. It's functional but not very decorated.
Here's my work table when it's clean, which never lasts long.

My craft room, is a small spare bedroom in my house. You risk life and limb entering the dangerzone, as it is in a real mess at the moment. I have two large expedit and one smaller one which house my supplies, plus a myriad of baskets and containers filling the wardrobe. I have a large desk and a smaller set of drawers plus a small armoire. Light is from one window, which unfortunately faces the south so it does not get much light ( in southern hemisphere)
However it is my sanctuary.... my escape from reality....and I love it

My room is a spare room on the 2nd floor. It faces west, so it gets a lot of afternoon sun. In the summer, this room gets really hot. The room is about 11x11. One side is all closet and one side (the west) is all windows. The south wall is mainly the "office" - computer, tv, file cabinet. The north side is the craft side - two tables in an "L" shape flanked by two bookcases. Most of the furniture is IKEA (Galant tables, Alex drawers, Raskog, Billy bookcase). The closet is storage for extras. I try to keep everything I am currently using out on the bookcases so I can see and don't forget about it.

We have a finished basement that is just one really big room. I have one side of it, and the rest is the playroom. I have a big desk from IKEA, with the drawer base. Also a 4x4 expedit, and a small reach-in closet with shelving.
It's a good space, aside from not much natural light. I really need to clean up and organize though! 2 years of mostly not scrapping, and piling other things around it have taken its toll!

I have the small second bedroom as my scraproom. I have an L-shaped counter height work surface (5 X 8) with a riser and cubes above along both lengths. I have 4 cubes that hold up the work surface that DH made, One has small drawers that hold all of my punches, one has all of my sizzix sizzlets (is that what they are called, you know, the alphas and sets?), the bottom two just hold miscellaneous stuff. I have a 5 X 5 kallax on one wall, two 2X2 in the centre of the room with a work surface on top and another 2 X 2 at the end of the L that holds all my cropper hopper paper holders with my cardstock. I have a few Michael's drawers on another wall for all my embellishments (sorted by color).
It's pretty crowded in there, but it's MY space and I love it.

My room is a tiny bedroom (smallest in the house), about 7x8. There's a large tree outside my window, which is lovely to look at, but it does block a lot of daylight. I make it work by turning on my daylight lamps.
I have the Target version of the Pottery Barn table and it sits in the center of the room. At my back against the wall I have a low cabinet piece that stores a ton of supplies and gives me another work surface.
Then I have a Container Store designed closet system that's floor to ceiling shelving, bins and drawers. It holds craft stuff, wrapping paper, cold storage photos and memorabilia and more scrapping goodies, but stuff I don't need at arm's reach.

I am in our finished walkout basement too. I got to claim one end for my craft space when we finished it. I have a wall of built in cabinetry just for me. There is a desk area in the center with a lower cabinet w/pull out shelves to either side. Over the top, there is a center cabinet for storing supplies and open bookcase shelves on both sides. That whole desk area is flanked by two giant pantry style cabinets for storing albums, paper, big stuff, and other craft supplies. Just behind my desk area is a table and chairs that I can also spread out on with my typewriter, sewing machine, die cutter, etc. and all of the cabinets have child proof locks on them! Our basement has a kitchenette too, so there is a place to get messy and clean up which is awesome and the floor is tiled which is great too (and I have dropped more than a few ink pads on that!). We have a family room and play space for the kids down there too, so I can sometimes steal a few minutes to work on a project while they are playing or DH is watching something on tv. I like being in a central place instead of in a separate room and it makes me keep my space pretty tidy too.

Mine is a teeny room that looks like a walk-in closet. It's maybe 8 feet wide and 5-6 feet deep with a door? It does have tall ceilings. I have an Expedit bookcase in there and an IKEA corner desk with a chair. It is very cramped with all of my vinyl, cardstock, etc. It needs a MAJOR cleaning right now.

I'm located in one of the smaller bedrooms in our house. I do have to share with my treadmill (which is used daily) its on one side of the room and the other has my desk from IKEA that has 2 Alex drawers for "legs" and one 4x4 expedit bookcase. I did take the closet doors off and I have storage shelving in there plus a library card catalog (3x5) that houses everything from extra adhesive and embossing powders to punches and paint.

I'm halfway through fitting my room out now that Ikea has opened here. I have a 5x5 Kallax which holds a lot of stuff and I'm going to get a Nordli set of drawers when they come available (the small drawer size is perfect for holding stacks of 12x12 paper!). I need to squeeze in two desks (one for me, one for DH to use as a computer desk) and all the printer gear as well, with the finished room being a crafting studio/study for both of us to share.

I have mine in what is supposed to be the dining room. It is next to the kitchen, so I can get a lot done and not burn dinner. There is a nice window beside my table and also a sleeper sofa that my grandchildren sleep on when they visit. Because I know the peas love pics:

My room is the second bedroom in our home. I have a nice window with lots of sunlight. I am a night crafter so the window is more decorative. I have an L-shaped desk. My first desk I work at. Next to that desk I have a waiter's cart holding my most used tools. I also have a bookshelf against that wall holding all my mixed media supplies like my mica powders, alcohol inks, etc... The second desk holds my printers and my most used coloring tools. I have wire shelves above the desk holding on my most used embellishments. Under the desk I have drawers holding all my jouranling supplies and bookbinding tools. Then I have a tv stand that holds my die cutters. My closet has all my papers, ephemera & misc crafting tools. I have three large bookshelves against one wall that holds some of my doll collection and my vintage ephemera all categorized in different boxes. I also repurposed a diaper changing table to hold all my coloring tools. I have another bookshelf in my room that holds all my doll collection. My room is painted Tiffany Blue.

I took over our 4th bedroom, formerly a guest room/office for my husband. He rarely used it as his office, he spent more time working at the kitchen table. Haha!! Room was a catch all room and was always cluttered. Last fall I decided to take it over. Removed all the old office furniture and sold it on Craigslist. Purchased a wonderful elfa wall desk unit from The Container Store. A few months later I installed elfa shelves and drawers in the closet to make my storage even more efficient.
I thought about installing another elfa wall desk unit on the opposite wall but I decided to use an old Pottery Barn trestle desk I've had for many years instead. It works just fine but I wish it was taller. I prefer to stand to make my process YouTube videos. I also purchased a chrome industrial free standing shelving unit from Lowe's that I placed on a third wall. I have a Raskög cart and elfa 4 drawer cart I use for supplies. The current set up works for me just fine. I'm always tweaking where things are but its good for now.

My craft room is located in my smallest bedroom. I have a large closet filled with 8 Iris carts (4 long, 2 high) giving me 48 removable 12x12 cases. Supplies are organized by type and occasion. Above the Iris carts are several Fridge Binz filled with stamps in Avery Elle storage pockets and organized primarily by manufacturer.
There is still a guest bed in the room and that really needs to go. I have Ikea Kallax units ready to install in that space. There is only one window in the room so one of my 6' work tables is located on that wall. The other 6' table is on the wall to the right of the window. I have 2 rolling paper carts that hold my card stock and can easily be stored in the closet if I want to clean up the room. I also have 2 Raskog carts that hold supplies I use regularly like foam adhesive, envelopes, plastic sleeves, etc.that I want close at hand but not on my work table. I have 3 small dressers and a small bookcase that will go once the Kallax units are in place.
Someday I'll have it just the way I picture it in my head!

I have what I believe the previous owners meant to be the master bedroom. It is on the main floor and has a bathroom. Currently, our only working one (we're rehabbing a 100yr old farm-house). Down side, it has only one small window. Plus side, it is 12x15 which is by far the largest space I've ever had but my stuff currently takes up 7x12. The kids and house things take up the rest. I really want to kick that stuff out! ha

My craft room is in the smallest bedroom/office. No built in storage, but I have one decent sized shelf unit, Ikea Linnmon tables running along one wall and my computer desk on another making an L shape. I have a couple of mobile drawer units - one under my table and one with my printer on top. I have 3 work areas on my table - sewing machine set up at one end, die cutting with bigshot/Minc in the middle and my scrap area at the other end. I may do some reorganisation later in the year as I'm hoping to be able to afford a Cameo this year

Mine is a small bedroom on the second floor. The stairs for the finished attic are accessed through it, so it gets a little traffic. It has a nice south window, and it's very bright all day long. I have two 2x2 Expedit shelves on wheels, so I can move them around. I also have a large armoire that I use for storage. And an Ikea table for a work space. I have my stamps on thin shelves on the wall. There's still a little room in there, and I might put a short bookcase in there.
Since I finished it off in October, I've been enjoying my crafting so much. Everything has a place and it's all pretty.

My studio is upstairs, in a finished attic space. It isn't super wide, but it is long. I have two skylights for natural light, and a closet on each end of my room.
I have wood floors and a creamy white wall color.
My husband built me a 6' farmhouse style desk and we added a glass top for easy cleaning.
I have a sewing station - a smaller white desk (from Pottery Barn, on sale) that holds my sewing machine and Silhouette machine. In the drawers are my thread, silhouette mats, blades, etc.
One on section of my room is a little 'nook' space because of how the stairs come into the room. We made a built in desk for this area, and I have a vintage drawers on top with my discuss stored by color. Underneath the table top, I have an Ikea Alex drawer that rolls in and out. I have a floral fabric curtain to hide it.
My DH has built me a art cabinet based off a photo from Ikea. It is turquoise, but I am thinking of painting it. In it is my yardstick, papers, and other art supplies.
I also have the dresser we used for my daughters clothing - I store stamp supplies in it.
Along the back wall, I have a set of 8' built in shelves. I keep jars of stuff on it.
Its about time I do a new updated tour of my room. Its been a couple of years.

My scrapbooking room is actually not in our house. Several years ago, DH built a huge shop across the driveway from our house. As a birthday present, he built an office in one side of the shop for me. I was able to custom-design the storage and the worktable (I'm a 90% stand-up scrapper so the counter is waist-high). I work from home one day a week so this also serves as my home-office. The window looks out over our orchard and I regularly have deer visit. I love it! My DDs, now grown, were in Junior High when he built it so he also installed an intercom between my office and the house. The girls were just talking about it at Christmas and saying that they liked when I would go out to the office and they'd have the house to "themselves"... with Mama happily scrapping away but still within intercom-shot!

I have most of the finished basement (daylight egress windows, not a walkout) for my office/studio. It's split into two halves by the stairs coming down. On the side with the two north facing windows I have my desk, two 8' work tables and a 5' folding table pushed together to create a large work space, built in counter height cabinets on one wall and two closets. I have a 6' high antique railroad schedule cabinet next to my desk that I want to move over to the other side next to my sewing stuff. My tv is wall mounted on this side on the far wall so I can see it from my desk.
On the other side I have desk height cabinets in an L on two walls with a built in work station for sewing and wall shelving installed above all the cabinets. I have my old counter height island from my previous house which is made out of 16 CIS cubes with a wide countertop over the top. It's on the other side opposite my sewing area. I made a shelf for 12x12 cardstock out of four IKEA kitchen cabinets stacked 2x2 and screwed together. DH helped me cut enough Masonite shelves so I could put a shelf on every set of shelf pegs (hundreds and hundreds of shelf pegs!). I use three converted literature sorters for letter sized cardstock, and about 15 wooden 16" square cubes from Target to store patterned paper in vertical paper holders. The doorway to the utility room is on this side.
I still have a ton of my junk in the unfinished utility room behind the second half of the studio space, mostly my rubber stamps (that I haven't had a chance to go through yet, I want to get rid of a bunch of them), a bunch of rolls of vinyl and some other stuff that I'm not exactly sure what to do with yet.
Once I move the railroad cabinet to the other side and get rid of the stack of now empty Iris carts, I want to get a small couch or futon to put next to my desk along the wall in front of the stairway to give DD (or anyone, really) a comfortable place to sit and relax to read, watch tv, a movie or videos and still be down there hanging out with me.

My scraproom is the 3rd bedroom of the house. I have a 5x5 expedit on one wall, with another 4x2 next to it to hold all my scrapbook supplies. There is also a cabinet on the opposite wall to hold all of my sewing stuff and extra fabric. There is a table attached to the biggest expedit that I use for a scrapbook/sewing surface depending on which project I have going at the time.

My scrap room is in the third bedroom with an attached bathroom in the basement. It has two tiny basement windows and a "real" window that opens to the back stairwell. It's north facing so I get subdued natural lighting. I have the Pier 1 version of the Pottery Barn project desk in the middle of the space with two IKEA Expedits along the wall behind me and one in front serving as a room divider (my DS2 is temporarily ensconced in the bedroom portion). Two 2x4 Expedits are on their sides along the windowless wall with two Alex drawer units on top, plus a generic three shelf unit. More IKEA 2x4 and 2x2 shelving units take up the wall with the real window, as well as an old VHS/DVD shelving unit and large peg board. Then there's my Iris container units stacked up next to the Expedit room divider, as well as under the folding table I have butted up against my project table. Floating wall shelves hold my inspiration artwork and meaningful tchotchkes. Not very practical Berber carpeting is on the floor. Sadly, my walls are still builder's beige. I had to move all this stuff in before I could get it painted. My current decorating scheme is black and white with apple green accents though. Suffice it to say photos, paper, kits, albums, stamps and ink, paint, ribbon, tools, Quickutz, old scrapping magazines and books, plus totes full of ephemera, etc., etc., all live nicely together in my studio. I'm well-stocked and well-stored. Lol.
