Elementary school auction for us, so we'll be eating whatever catered food there is - oh, plus wine, lots of wine.

I am not sure. I might brave Sam's today and buy a rotissiere chicken. I might make a rigatoni casserole. That actually sounds better, and I can hit Sam's up during the week when it's not such a zoo. Yep. Rigatoni it is! Once again, the peas save the day - or at least solve the question of "what's for dinner!" Enjoy your Saturday, everyone! Lisa

I'm hoping for some sort of soup. Not feeling so well, have a sinus issue going on and don't want to take medicine if I can help it. So hot soup sounds good to me right now. I have tons of veggies, so can probably start a pot later. Maybe just veggie soup.

I have no idea. We have a 5:00 flight and arrive at our destination around 8:00 so it may be airport food or something on the road as we have a 2 hour drive after we land.

I bought green bell peppers yesterday, forgetting that I already had 5 in the veggie crisper. So...stuffed peppers for dinner!

Hot roast beef sandwiches with gravy and a veggie or two. I made a deal with DH earlier, if he goes to the store I'll make chocolate chip cookies. He was all over that idea.

I woke up late. I have a lot of housework to do....starting in the kitchen. So instead of having breakfast and then proceeding, I went ahead and starting making dinner for lunch. I've shared this before but it doesn't hurt to do it again: Cheesy Ham & Potato CasseroleI do change this up quite a bit. Husband like broccoli so my son and I eat it on the side. I use more like 8 potatoes and 1.5-2x the cream cheese. Next time I think I'll do 1 pkg of cream cheese and some sour cream. I also add garlic and onion powder. This gets devoured around here.

Yesterday I bought a giant Costco pizza, brought it home, added spinach and more cheese, and baked it for dinner. Well, with the stuff I added, it became even more giant. I ate a couple of skinny slices and felt totally overloaded. So there's like 7/8ths of a giant pizza still in my fridge.
I guess that's what I'm eating all weekend.

We are getting a break in the cold weather, so DH is grilling Korean barbeque ribs on his Big Green Egg. Not sure what sides were are having.

I am happy to say I won't be eating hospital food tonight. I went to urgent care yesterday (which still seems like today since I was up ALL night hacking up a lung) and the dr, told me if I had waited any longer I would have been hospitalized. My asthma has made the bronchitis worse. So aside from a handful of pills, I don't know what I will have dinner, dh is in charge again. Munching on some cashews at the moment.

Baked potatoes with black bean/corn mix, sour cream, cheese and green onion toppings. It is entirely possible that this will be made and eaten within the next half hour as I am pretty much starvin marvin right now and could eat more than my teen age son (who will not be home tonight so I won't have to share. )

Oh yeah, I meant to add all that too. I am starving and not thinking apparently. But I am thinking of you all today!
