We're invited to BIL and SIL's house for BIL's birthday dinner. I know that we're having prime rib and salad (dh is making the salad) with chocolate cake for dessert. I'm guessing they'll be mashed potatoes and a green veggie as well. Definitely looking forward to this meal!

We usually have breakfast for dinner or pizza. It will depend on whether DH wants to cook or not since omelets are his speciality.

We are going out with my mom to celebrate DS' birthday. He chose PF Chang's after some intense thought- Carrabbas was the other choice.

We're having another new recipe--vegetable chili. I'll make some cornbread to go with it.

We ordered pizza!! Oh, I LOVE not having to do the dishes! (Not that I love pizza that much, but the clean up after dinner is one of my least favourite chores).

Hamburgers, hot dogs, and sides at DD's boyfriend's parents' house. I made some chocolate chip, cream-filled, chocolate-dipped cookies.
I am hoping for continued sunshine so we can all eat on the deck. Bring on spring!!
Thanks for the thread.

I'm making the one dish chicken, green beans and potatoes along with honey wheat bread from the bread machine. And per the DH's request, Apple dump cake for dessert (he tagged me in a Tasty recipe on Facebook for the recipe)

I've got a roast in the crock pot ... I made caramelized onions to go on top while it's cooking and I almost ate them all while I was browning the roast!
I'll toss some potatoes in about halfway through ... Then all the other veggies for stew.
Funny, my DH and kids aren't crazy for veggies, but if I mix it all together with roast and call it stew, the eat it like crazy! LOL!

Doing some light spring cleaning, so I'm trying to clear out the refrigerator too. Tonight I'm repurposing stewed chicken thighs into snow peas and chicken over fried rice.

A lovely sunny spring time day here in Georgia and I've been out working in the yard. Dinner will be simple. For DH, I'll make a pepper, rice, hamburger skillet dish. It's exactly how it sounds. I just brown some hamburger, bell peppers and rice and add a can of Rotel. For me, it might just be cereal. I made some granola this morning and it's calling my name.

DH has conceded that his *allergies* are now a cold. He asked me to make another pot of homemade chicken noodle soup. Since it is cold and rainy, I am happy to oblige. So yummy!

I *think* salsa verde chicken pasta with roasted veggies. If I get lazy towards dinnertime it will be roasted chicken, baked potatoes and green salad

Dh is on dinner duty tonight. He's making minestrone soup. Which of course will become a huge deal as he's making the broth from scratch too.
Off to find recipes to use up the cooked chicken during the week

We're having leftover coconut chicken curry from our church's international supper Friday night. I might be known for making WAY too much food for events like this. But I love the leftovers!

I used Ina Garten's chicken stick recipe which is still simmering in the stove. Going to make her chicken noodle soup with it. Making her Parmesan toasts to go with it.

I have some chicken breasts I need to use up, so it's going to be orange chicken, rice, and probably Brussels sprouts.

I am trying a new receipe for something called "Crack chicken." It's basically breaded chicken tenders with a supposedly awesome sauce you can't stop eating (hence the "crack" designation). We shall see. I'll make some noodles and maybe a salad with it. ETA: Verdict: Eh, I don't know if it's worthy of being called " crack" chicken, but it was pretty good for a BBQ chicken tender.

Chicken Thighs rubbed down with Grillmates Chicken rub and marinaded in Carribean Jerk are on the grill now. Potatoes are in the oven roasting with fresh rosemary from the garden, olive oil, sea salt and cracked black pepper. Also having baby carrots cooked with butter and coconut sugar and roasted asparagus with parmesan cheese and just a dash of cayenne to bring it all together.
