I have to go to Costco today, so I'll pick up a pizza for dinner while I'm in the pre-made-just-bake-section. That means that roast chicken will be used in a dish tmw night.
What's on your menu?
Have a Happy Thursday.

It's another "throw everything into a pot" day. Potatoes, some leftover veggies and sausage, and a couple of eggs too.

We're having spaghetti, broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots, leftover roasted butternut squash, and breadsticks. I found some unlabeled cookies in the freezer for dessert. I don't know for sure what kind they are, but I am positive they're chocolate, and that's good enough for me.

Oldest ds has his Spring concert tonight. I don't understand why they have to arrange this over dinnertime. He has to arrive by 5:30 and probably won't leave until 7:00 [sigh]. Fingers crossed between getting home from work and running the dogs I'll have time to throw together a quick chickpea and carrot curry, which we can re-heat and eat whenever we finally get home.

Tonight is Maundy Thursday service at church so I only have about an hour between work and church to have dinner. I'm meeting my sister at Cook-Out. I've never been there before, I hope it is good.

One pot chili mac. It's easy and everyone likes it. Will also bake some zucchini fries to go with it.

Same song, same verse at our house with the BRAT regime. DH is still quite cheerful about eating the same thing night after night. We found out last evening that his surgery will be postponed till early April. So I'll continue to post bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast for the foreseeable future. Bon appetit!

Not a clue.
We are in desperate need of a trip to the market. Out of most of everything. Probably the only thing I could make is chicken strips and homemade mac & cheese. Well, chicken strips. I forgot the milk is too old and needs tossed.

I forgot the milk is too old and needs tossed. You sound like me. The trouble is, I have an appointment in the big city next week, so we're trying to delay major shopping until we can visit TJ and Whole Foods. Who knows, maybe we'll even stop at Publix?! I'm making meatloaf, and I'd better go check my milk for mashed potatoes.

Tonight we are having chicken fried rice. I will be the sous chef and my daughter will be the one that actually puts it all together. She makes a mean rice rice!!
If I feel like it we might also make spring rolls.

Now see, that time would work for me, lol. My son's concerts are always at 7:00 and he has to be there at 6:30 which is right when I'd be cooking and we'd be eating. Tonite we're having frozen premade chicken cordon bleu since apparently frozen premade chicken kiev is a thing of the past. Three stores and no one had it?! I'm making one of my precious boxes of Aldi risotto to go along and will let my son pick the veggie. Which means green beans, lol.

Well, it is raining like crazy in N'awlins and we didn't get to go to the accountant today - I thought we would eat out after the appointment. So. . .we had leftover Salisbury steak and gravy from yesterday. Nuked a couple of potatoes and loaded them up. Made a green salad from bibb lettuce from the garden (first time we've ever planted lettuce & it has fascinated all the neighbors). Life is good!

I ended up making shrimp scampi, baked potato and broccoli for oldest ds. I was happy that he ate really well. I had a tiny bit of shrimp as I was not super hungry.
DS2 also ate well and wanted the rest of the palachinka - aka German crepes.
Tonight, I will make them their favorite meatball subs as that is super quick, and I am really busy today.

Finally at the end of the venison roast and broccoli.
And I made fresh blueberry hand pies. The house smells better than a Yankee Candle store!
Thanks for the thread.

I'm sorry for those "feeling poorly" as my grandmother would have said. I'm making Spicy Stir Fry Chicken & Snap Peas for us tonight. With rice, of course. And I've got dough made for some chocolate chip cookies --- I just need to get in there and bake them.

I haven't given much thought to dinner yet. My brother and dsil are coming tomorrow for a long weekend and I have been busy! Had a hair appointment early this afternoon, came home and have been baking ever since. Needed to use up some apples in the freeezer so made an apple cake with brown sugar glaze, and some applesauce puffs. Have to pick up last minutes things at the store so think I'll just grab us a couple of beef noodle casseroles from the freezer and finish up our bag of salad. Then I'm stopping for the rest of the day!

I was at M&Ms this morning and picked up a package of barbecued ribs. So that's what we'll have. Along with baked potatoes or something. And a salad.
