I seem to remember there being something last year but I can't remember. I am hoping to find a few challenges to motivate me.

Scrapbook.com is loading up their challenge forum for NSD. Challenges are already viewable, but can't be entered until May 4th. I thought last night I had found a more viewer friendly pane, with all of the challenges displayed at once, but can't find it this morning. Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine has plans for a crop on or around NSD.

And I guess Scrapbook Generation has moved their blog to their fb site, but if you are looking for crafting challenges to keep you going until NSD or the May ones appear here, HERE is a cool challenge posted on SG in January. By the time we finish all these combinations, (by my rusty calculations, there are more than 50,000 ways to do this) we should have a lot of scrapbooking done.

I will bring it to the crop. TFS

Thought I made the link to the item in the browser. But since then I have cleared out a bunch of emails, that one along with them, and now I can't find the link anywhere. I am sure it will come up in their blog soon. I will link it back then.
Thanks for printing the SG list. That could definitely keep us busy all weekend.

By the time we finish all these combinations, (by my rusty calculations, there are more than 50,000 ways to do this) we should have a lot of scrapbooking done. Scrapbook Generation has a SB group called SG Scrap Squad. They post challenges that you can participate in for fun and some for prizes throughout the month. But they are having a NSB Event and have a page for it, SG NSB Online Crop, it's Challenges, contests, games, prizes, chatting and more...all centered around scrapbooking, cardmaking, and coloring. The seven-day event begins at 10 am (CST) Monday and continues through 9 pm on Sunday! Post challenge entries by Tuesday, May 31 to be eligible for prizes. HTH ETA: You have to be a member of Scrap Squad, to be able to join the NSB Online crop

Wow way more choices than I expected. I finally got my mojo back and don't want to stop and the challenges help. Now I just need to take photos and learn how to load them to our gallery here and then I guess the same thing at other places. It is fun though. I think this thread will keep me busy. Thanks so much.

grammadee - thanks for the heads up about Scrapbook.com - those challenges look pretty cool. I might have to get by Calvinball game face back on for May and get me some challenges completed. Currently my status to join the Scrap Squad @ Scrapbook Generation's FB page is pending.

Great - TFS all the options. Not sure how much time I'll have, but definitely hope to do a few layouts.

Here is the link to SCT (Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine) blog announcement. Don't know what they are doing, but other years they have had a challenge posted every hour on NSD with chances to win all kinds of prizes.
And The Creative Scrapbbooker magazine has announced Two Weeks of fun and prizes leading up to NSD.

While I still have no clue how to upload photos of my layouts, just following along w/some of these sounds like fun.
Thanx for posting - I had completely forgotten about NSD. Off to write it on my calendar so my family knows I'll be too busy to nag them! Happiness for all in the Twisted house!

Off to write it on my calendar so my family knows I'll be too busy to nag them! Happiness for all in the Twisted house! Tiffany, to upload a photo of your LO, you need to be a member of Flickr. Once you are registered and logged in, you can upload a photo to your photostream there. For LO's and cards, I take and edit the photo on my phone, then e-mail it to myself, and save it in Pictures on my computer. To upload to Flickr, you just need to click on the arrow beside your name at top right to get the upload dialog box to appear, then select the photo, click the upload button, and it's there. You can probably do this directly from your phone with an app, but this is how I do it.
When you are logged in there, request to join the 2peasrefugees group. It will take a day or two before you are sent confirmation that you are a member of that group.
When you are a member of the 2peas refugees Flickr group, you can add photos from your own photo stream. (Just click on "add photo", and select, then just one more click and it is there)
If you want to link the photo to a post in the MB, first select and open the photo in the Flickr gallery (or your own photostream). Choose the Share curvy arrow. When the dialog box comes up, select BBcode. Choose a size (I usually choose a small one, but not the smallest: once you have chosen, Flickr will default to that size, but if you think it was too big or small you can adjust it and then it will default to that) Then simply copy the address there and paste it directly into your message. No need for any other editing. When you post the message, the pic will appear.
Looking forward to seeing your creations!

Even though she's on the Aussie time zone, Inkie Quill/Adele Toomey will be doing another scrap stream on her youtube channel. It might not be challenges and such, but if you want to get together with a live person to chat with and hundreds of others that you can type back and forth with in real time, it's great. She's done 3 so far and they've been entertaining. I plan to keep her stream up because I find that I can't play back the videos but watching live is fun and gives me the itch to scrap. I couldn't do much during her last one because my desk hadn't been set up, yet, but now that it's together, I plan on scrapping the day away. Plugging away at more PL and possible a few layouts.

I'm not on fb, melissas , but this sounds like fun! I hope everyone who is involved in an NSD experience has a minute or two to share back here what they are doing on NSD and what they have created!

As per the usual, my NSD is once again a non-starter. I swear, every year it ends up being sabotaged! Hopefully I'll have a chance to scrap on a different weekend at some point in May.

This is usually my NSD too. I had asked dh for the weekend this year, but it doesn't look like it will happen. boo. I'll get some time, but he'll be here with the kids and so that's just not as relaxing for me.

I wish NSD was in some off month like March or August when nothing else is going on!

A Cherry on Top has a crop planned for NSD with lots of challenges and games. They also have a bunch of challenges already open for the month of May. If you are scrapping NSD, lots of inspiration there. Anyone got anything else?

I think Studio Calico is doing challenges on their message board on Saturday.
I'm doing the SG crop on Facebook, I think. It has already started but I haven't done any challenges yet
