I recently shopped at Lush for the first time to buy some bath bombs as a gift for a friend who loves baths. Of course I ended up buying a few things for myself! So far I've tried a bath bomb, soap, lip scrub and a shampoo bar. I really liked everything and was especially impressed with the shampoo bar! I think it will be great for traveling. The staff there is helpful but can be intense engaging you as a customer. I feel like they are trying to sell me the whole store. I prefer to be left alone while I shop unless I have a question. Does anyone have favorite Lush products to recommend? I'm interested in trying some of their other items and want to have an idea of what is must try product before I go back and spend way too much money. Thanks.

I like the Don't Look at Me mask. It's blue, mildly lemon smelling. You keep it in the fridge.
They have a body butter bar that I liked for in the shower-- it's either buffy or aqua mirabilis. It sounds weird to tell you but not know the name, but it's been a while since I had one. On the website, they look similar. I'd be able to tell by the smell. (I thought it was AM, but one of the ingredients is sandalwood oil, which I typically don't like. So now I'm confused.)
I also really like the smell of the Porridge soap.

I love the bath bombs, I just used twilight tonight. It's got glitter though, micro glitter but I got out of the bath and DH asked if I was going to interview for a job stripping.
I also use the shampoo bar when I travel, the bubble bars regularly, the fresh face masks and dh likes the massage bar.

I pretty much stick to just their soaps. Love them. Though DH didn't love me very much after I brought one home that had some sort of seeds(?) in it. It smelled fabulous though.

I was just there last week. I love love love Rose Jam and still have two shower gels left from the Christmas-only sale time. So I went with that, and got.. Jason and the Argan Oil solid shampoo Pearl massage bar Rose Bombshell bath bomb (I still have one Rose Jam bubbleroon left from Christmas too) and unrelated, some Beautiful shower gel. I was almost going to buy Sikkim Girls perfume, and the sales person told me that the new scent will be violet. So I decided to hold off and see what that smells like before I spent any more money there. I love Karma soap too, but I just found Peace, Love, Take a Shower by Perfectly Posh and that's damn near a religious experience at 6 a.m.

I love, I mean LOVE, the Rehab shampoo. It gets my hair so clean without stripping it and there's no residue. There are lots of products I love but that's my favorite. I also just started using the split end treatment in the little tin and it smells SO good!

My sis used to use a pot of shampoo or conditioner... I can't remember. I think it was called I love juicy. It smelled AMAZING as all get out, but it eventually started bleaching her hair (we have dark brown hair, and it started turning a rusty coppery red), and it dried it out significantly. We finally convinced her that it wasn't a good product, despite being all natural and all that jazz. Some products are really good (I swear by the Buffy bar! It hyper moisturizes my skin instantly and keeps it supple all day long) but not everything there is the holy grail like everyone makes it out to be.

I went to Lush for the first time a couple weeks ago in Seattle. I was lamenting the fact that they didn't have one in Spokane. The girl told me they probably wouldn't open one there because we are too far away for them to ship the fresh products for the face masks. Do all of you that have a Lush, live near the ocean? I thought that maybe they could get stuff from lakes too? We have a ton of lakes around us.
I'd like to have a Lush, I liked the store. I bought the jellies. I can't remember the correct name. But they are body wash. I thought they were cool.

That seems interesting since they do have a website but I'm not sure where that's based. I'm in San Diego so near an ocean but I thought Lush was nationwide? Maybe not.

I have really dry skin and like their body conditioner. It's not a lotion - you put in on the shower and then rinse it off like hair conditioner. The moisture and scent stay in your skin but there's no feeling of stickiness. Very nice.

Just a question, how can you guys stand to shop in there? I can smell that place from the other side of the mall and it gives me an instant headache!

The Argan Oil body balm is divine! Their bath bombs are great, too.
Because a lot of their facial products are "grainy" it causes my pores to get clogged resulting in "angry" skin with little bumps and whiteheads all over. Same thing for my teen and tween daughters. We had to stop using those.
