There's no price limit, I just need to be creative. I need to add some snacks/drinks also. My problem is that I have no idea who will end up with the basket so I need the contents to be non-religious and holiday-free. Oh, and the winner could possibly be from another country, not that that makes too big of a difference. I'm thinking a couple of charts and kits, a needleminder, and some floss in winter colors. For the edible portion, I'm thinking hot chocolate mix, "snowball" cakes,  Help!!! |

I would include some specialty skeins of floss or aida cloth-- like floss with silver thread in it or other metallic floss, maybe a navy cloth? This is pretty: winter day kit (birds). Cute: bunny and squirrel kit. Kind of Thomas Kincaid-y landscape. I typed WINTER CROSS STITCH into that site's search bar and got 150 hits. Lots of neat kits. If it's in the budget, what about a magnifier? I used to like cross stitch but now have to hold it so close to my face I go cross-eyed after about ten stitches and get super dizzy. |

I love the Lizzie Kate kits...I'm know there would be a winter-themed one in the collection. I've done a couple of pieces that are Snowmen and I love them! Kind of whimsical and cute colors.

I peeked in to see what the suggestions were and boy those are pretty! Makes me want to get my supplies out again and stitch (if only I could see better)
