This printer is on my Christmas wish list for DH. :D Me too. I am making myself use the Selphy to print photos for my 2015 DD and use the ink and paper I have until then!

I caved.. It will be here Wednesday I have a very optimistic goal of getting my November pics printed and caught up this weekend. I do a pretty good job keeping up with my DD, but I have never started off in a hole so to speak. Knowing my luck it will be a cyber Monday deal, but it seemed worth it to hopefully get caught up over the weekend.

Wow.just.wow! My printer came yesterday and I got time to play tonight. I honestly think it took me longer to get it setup and fool around with all of the software business than it took me to print about 2 dozen photos. I am totally sold. I was able to edit a pic and then edit the next while the first was printing. It would have taken me longer to edit them all and then upload/order them...and then wait a week for them to arrive! The color is a bit off compared to what I see on the monitor. But fwiw it may be when I order too, and it is the instant side by side comparison that makes it evident. And as of now, not even going to feel bad if it goes on sale next Monday!
Also, I ended up ordering Canon semi gloss paper from Amazon and am really happy with it. It is a nice weight and looks pretty close (or close enough) to when I order matte finish prints.

Having some printing glitches that I can't fix. Some of my prints are getting black ink splotches on the outer corners. I've tried cleaning the paper guide and checked the nozzles/print heads. When I print on inkjet cards, there's no splotchiness. It only appears on my Epson glossy photo paper. I haven't printed in a few days, and I have changed photo paper so I'm completely stumped (& ticked) that it's doing this. Any help would be appreciated.
