Happy Monday!
What is YOUR scrappy style? Are your pages Clean and Simple? Shabby Chic? Do you get inky? Throw everything but the kitchen sink at your projects? Are your colors heritage? Bright? Soft? Warm? Cool? How many photos are on a typical page?
Please take a minute in your busy Monday to tell us what your typical style is. If you have something already completed and posted somewhere that you can link here to illustrate your style, that's a bonus!
Now the CHALLENGE for today: Go to the CHALLENGE & PROMPTS thread. Choose ANY challenge. Create something in YOUR style. And link it back to this thread. Remember you can complete this at any time: no pressure to finish it by the end of day.
DAILY PHOTO: Hoping that you can find some time in your Monday schedules to at least snap a photo of something in your life today. Would love to see your photo linked to this thread as well. Remember that one of the challenges asks you to snap a photo a day to use later on a LO or project.
Really happy to see so many people jump in to Tell Your Story yesterday. Wow! Lots of crafting got done. Hope people had lots of fun doing it.

To answer my own question, I am not sure if there is a name for my scrappy style.
I usually do two page spreads about kids and their activities. I usually rip some edge on my page, and often ink something. Usually at least two photos, maybe more, but I also like to have one large photo on one page and then put the rest of them on the facing page. My titles are usually done in stickers, and I use a lot of word stickers and words on scanner strips on my pages as well. Hand written journaling. I try to use colour to reflect either the season or the activity, and use a lot of bolds and brights. A few metllics if I am scrapping about boys--and I often am.
Here are a couple of pages that reflect my style, I think. Tried to find some in the Flickr gallery that had MOST of the things I mentioned.

Took a photo this morning of the new leaves on the tree in our yard, but Flickr keeps timing me out when I try to upload it. Will have to try later.

Thanks grammadee for posting today's thread. My style is simple and linear - 8.5x11" often doublepage but not always. I use mostly cardstock, occasional patterned paper, and a few embellishments. Tend towards multiple photos - one-page layouts are more likely to have just 1 or 2. I'm often inspired by the old Simple Scrapbooks, Scrapbooks Etc... and Becky Higgins sketches. No actual scrapping yet today but I ordered more photos - that'll be two batches (last night's and today's) that DH will pick up on his way home from work - 175 total. Almost caught up on printing for 2016 - I have about 4 days worth from our January trip and then an April Airshow left to print. Maybe tomorrow? Maybe next week.

And ordering prints definitely counts as a scrapping project! I had meant to print some photos over the weekend, but never got to it. Will do it next week when I am in a WalMart and can use a kiosk to do it.
Here is my Monday morning photo. Can't believe how green our yard became over the weekend. Spring and summer are all arriving at once!

My style changes. During Calvinball, I was very focused on fairly simple layouts: paper, stickers, a few other embellishments. It was about being productive. I can be artistic and get messy, but those are usually the exception not the rule. I do 12x12 pages usually with more than one full 4x6 photo. I will get my LOAD page done when I get home from work.

I'm mostly a simple scrapper. I like clean lines and minimal embellishing. I usually use my Silhouette for cutting titles, but I've been making more of an effort to use my Thickers and letter stickers. I do a mix of multi photo two page layouts and single page layouts with one or two photos. I love grids. I'm a chronological scrapper and I can't seem to make myself scrap any other way. I scrap some 8.5x11 and a few 12x12 here and there. I do not tend to get messy. Waiting for things to dry is a huge annoyance to me. I have one glimmer mist and rarely use it. The waiting for things to dry thing kept me from buying more. But when I got addicted to NicoleJones911 on youtube I saw that she uses her paints at the end of the layout I had an aha moment. So maybe I'll give it another try. I'd like to try splatters if anyone has any product suggestions.

I took the pictures of my dresses today. I guess this layout is about my style in more ways than one .

Today I did paper, pictures, and embellishments for layouts 7 and 8. I started 9 and realized I don't have white cardstock for the background so I'm not sure if I'll use something else or just wait.
Anyway, I'm enjoying another scrappy productive day. I won't be able to scrap tomorrow, though.

I'm not sure how I'd describe my style but I'm confident I have one.
I prefer softer colours rather than brights. I use a mix of white cardstock and pp for my backgrounds. I do both single and multiple photo pages as well as single and double page spreads. I like mixing in pocket pages either as a stand alone page or as half of a double page spread. I like a few layers but not too many and I think my pages are in the middle for embellishing - not to much and not too little. I use ephemera on my pages where I can and try to always include the story.

Slight hijack - I have created a sticky master thread for the May TYS so that individual threads are easier to find. I'll try to check in daily but in case I don't, feel free to reply to that thread with a link to any new challenges and I'll then move them into the OP when I get a chance.
Have a great month ladies, I'm so happy to see this board active and doing fun things!

I am mostly a single 12X12 girl, neutral (almost always white lately) card stock background with pattern paper, thickers or silhouette cut title, hand written journaling. I love to do 2 pics on a 4X6 using photosheet so that has become my "norm" in the past year or so. I would say my "style" is bright, fun and a mix of slightly linear and slightly embellished. I try to do the layering/embellishing and am somewhat successful and love to get messy/artsy but that is probably 4 out of 10 projects. I get on kicks with things, so right now it is long banners and ink.

I got a 9th layout done last night while yawning and telling myself I should go to bed. All 9 layouts I've done are paper, pictures, and embellishments. When I have pretty good sized stack I'll do journaling and titles for all of them.

This is a layout I recently did for my England album which is pretty typical of my style. I use lots of theme papers, as in these from Scrap Your Trip and I used some memorabilia - a postcard. I use theme washi to emphasize it's England. I don't do much journalling. I typically do 8.5x11 and piece papers together. On the left edge I even tore some scraps and layered them to fill in where the paper was too short. I am a make it work scrapper. Of course the example I chose I spelled the name wrong with my thickers. Need to fix that! That torn paper section is GENEOUS!!! Love it! Yes, myboysnme , you DO "make it work"!

Also tend to be a simple, traditional scrapper...I wish I was more 'artsy'. and better at creating embellie clusters.

I'd say that on 95%-98% of my layouts will have a story on them. I really dislike no journaling, but sometimes it's just a cute photo of my great niece or nephew and nieces.
On almost 70% of my layouts I used my own handwriting, at least 5 patterned papers, and at least 15 things on the page. I love layers and patterns.

myboysnme I really like the shaped journaling box on your Easter layout. I think you have a really classic style and I notice you like the three matted photos stacked

I like to use a lot of photos, and I like embellishment clusters. I love to get flowers, stamped images, stickers, die cuts, Stickles, and enamel dots all on one page. I love layering.

I hope classic is a good thing because that is how I am going to describe my style! In the past year I've been grouping my photos together on one mat so that they stand out from the busy paper I tend to use. I like to group them in a square also and use the empty space for journalling.

my crafting style is probably somewhere near shabby chic/collage style. I'm not a matchy-matchy-have-to-use-stuff-from-one-collection-only kind of person.
