I guess everyone but me has a playlist. Even my 3-year-old has several of nursery rhymes...
For Saturday, I have two questions:
1. What do you listen to or watch while scrapping? I tend to prefer silence so I can hear the voices in my head, but I don't mind quiet music in the background. Songs often distract me, because I listen to the words.
2. What is your go-to list of supplies when scrapping a usual project? On almost every page, I use cardstock AND patterned paper. Often, but not always, I ink at least some of the edges, especially when I tear those edges. Every 2 page spread has a title (usually done with stickers), journaling in my own handwriting, and at least 4 photos. Often I have 4 or more photos on each page.
I hope to put a few pages together on Saturday, and because I have not scrapped for a week or more, I will probably lean heavily on my go-to's because that will require less decision making. When I have something created I will get it posted.
It's the weekend! Happy scrapping!

I often listen to podcasts, but not always scrapping ones. Sometimes I'll play a movie that I know well enough to follow without seeing the images.
My go to supplies are patterned paper, alphas or some kind, computer journaling (often cut into strips) and something older from my stash. I'm trying to make a concerted effort to use up the older things which I still like but generally overlook in favour of something closer to the top of the pile.
I'm hoping to actually scrap today because I've spent a lot of time thinking about it this month but have not actually achieved much.

Those are great questions... I always use cardstock and patterned paper as well. Usually at least 3 photos but I occasionally do a single photo or a big double layout with 8 or more if I can cut them down to size. Alpha stickers or die cuts (with my big shot) and I love the paper packs that come with the coordinating stickers or sayings. Then I go through my stash looking for any odd embellies that might work to add in there. Ribbon and gems or enamel dots as well. I like to listen to a variety of music from Disney favourites (I'm a Disney junkie) to stuff from the 50's & 60's and of course my good ol' country music. I will also put the TV on to something I don't need to concentrate on like Gilmore Girls or As Time Goes By. I have also scrapped from my playlist....here's my Canadian Girl layout inspired by the Dean Brody song called oddly enough "Canadian Girl" LOL! It was the lyric "she can look sexy in a toque" that prompted this layout of my daughter on her first ice fishing trip. Attachments:

I really like quiet when I scrap, which is funny because I pretty much only scrap at crops. Other people's music bugs me and I have a pair of ear plugs I use to tone it down when it is too much for me. I think the stimulation of all that is going on around me is all I can take and still be creative. Like you grammadee I listen to the words and then it stays stuck in my head! For every layout I really 'need' patterned paper. I just feel I can't really tell the story without it. I especially love using several different patterns. Last night someone told me I am the Dom Streeter (Project Runway pattern mixing queen) of scrapbook paper. I always use some kind of non patterned paper, generally cardstock for mats and journalling boxes. Then I have to find some kind of 3D embellie or make one. nitad I LOVE that page!!!!!

I usually scrap to whatever TV show/movie my family is watching (the living room with the TV and the family room where I scrap are open-plan) or to silence. If I'm home alone, then I listen to my ipod but I don't have a specific playlist for scrapping, it's whatever I'm in the mood for (I have eclectic music tastes and listen to pretty much anything except rap and jazz)
every layout? cardstock for sure, usually multiple photos, straight lines

I love to listen to the Scrap Gals podcasts while I scrap.
I always use 3D embellishments of some sort, or raise my photo (my pages are always "high" or "thick", never flat).

Thanks for these prompts, this has been fun
playlist for music, I usually listen to Christian music, but have a variety depending on my mood. Sometimes will listen to Classical, Michael Buble, Darius Rucker, even have Fergie or Spice Girls just for fun and energy. At crops, I listen to whatever mix the gals are listening to. And it usually is a good mix of pop/country/oldies.
playlist for cropping. Always start with pictures, also usually 3, pp, coordinating cardstock. And from there anything goes as far as embellishing, I don't really have a standby. I have been setting up for a crop I am hosting, and did grab ... Stampin Up's Creamy Caramel ink pad for edging, Smash pens for journaling, I use the glitter pens a lot (granddaughters) so they are at hand. Lately, project life cards and die cuts make appearances, even on a non pocket page.

Well so far I have two LOAD pages (one for today and one for yesterday). I am definitely going outside my playlist for these pages because I usually do 12 x 12 with lots of photos, but for LOAD I decided to do 6x8" journaling pages, and most of those do not have photos at all. For yesterday's page, which was all about competitiveness, I decided to use the cover of an insurance company's brochure. Loved the stop watch and had grabbed it to "use sometime" as soon as the mail came into the house. I decided to staple a little booklet to hold my journaling. Put the title on the front. ready set go! by Gramma Dee, on Flickr For today's page, I did use a small photo dd sent me of her 3 year old's choice of wardrobe today: the prompt for today was, "I can't believe I wore THAT!" I used Carpe Diem diecuts and other elements: perfect for a little boy who definitely knows how to Seize the Day! Carpe diem indeed by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

And here is the one page I have been able to complete, so far. Still working on my dgs's album.
BTW, this fits with my RIDICULOUS challenge in the TYS prompts and challenges . Know what is more ridiculous than collecting a huge hoard of Christmas scrap crap??? Buying even MORE of it!!! I got the MB dies yesterday on sale at the LSS. I picked out the detailed one and was going to get just that. Then of course the fact that they were 50% off got into my head, so of course I had to get the plain ones too! Saving money, right???
meeting ho ho ho by Gramma Dee, on Flickr
My goal for the day is 3 pages (not counting the LOAD entries), but not sure if I will get there. Had some technical difficulties this morning with printers and then with my iPhone (not wanting to take photos: need to move some off the phone to make room I guess). Then my happy crafty mood kind of got lost...
Off to eat lunch now: maybe that will perk me up!

My scrappy playlist include The Scrap Gals, Pride and Prejudice (my sweet Colin Firth edition), and Corner Gas. I've seen P&P and Corner Gas so many times that I can just listen and I know what's happening. Sometimes I'll listen to a longer NicoleJones911 video. I love her videos.
I usually use cardstock as my background but I've been trying to use patterned paper lately. I can't think of any products that I always use but my layouts do have a certain look to them that to me is recognizable. I'd say they're clean and uncluttered.

While I'm scrapbooking lately I listen to the Scrap Gals pod cast or scrapbooking YouTube videos. If I have the TV on I usually put on HGTV or the Food Network. My go to supplies are patterned paper and stickers with multiple photos. I did two pages for today's prompt: I can't believe I wore that. I printed the patterned paper and embellishments from digital kits. A real first for me.

What do you listen to or watch while scrapping? Maybe I'm weird, but I like to scrap in silence. My work is so loud, and during the day when I'm home, someone always wants or needs to talk to me, that I really treasure the sound of silence. What is your go-to list of supplies when scrapping a usual project? Patterned paper. Usually cardstock. Enamel dots. Stickles. Sequins. shapes made with a paper punch (scalloped circle with a small stamped image on it) Small stamped images. Sticker alphas.

Fun questions!
Either a tv series or movie that I've seen a bunch (Friends, How I Met Your Mother, Gilmore Girls, etc), or sometimes a book on tape. Right now I'm slowly working my way through the Harry Potter series audio books.
I always use patterned paper (usually several), handwritten journaling, letter stickers or Thickers, and almost always something from my scrap basket. Often I use a roller stamp for the date, a pre-made journal spot, and some sort of dimensional embellishment (enamel dots, buttons, or something on pop dots).

You should be doing a happy dance!! heck, I'm doing one for you.

I don't think you're weird. I quite often scrap in silence. Even if I have a podcast or movie playing I find I have to pause it when I'm working on journaling and sometimes while I'm sorting out photos for printing because my brain can't seem to cope with more than one thing.

I hardly ever listen to music. I may leave on the tv or play a podcast while scrapbooking. I am also totally ok with silence. When I go to a crop I don't mind music but it can't be loud!
