Oh you will love the Poconos! We're go up there often and it's beautiful. There is a ton of amazing camping and the views are wonderful. If you're up that way check out Bushkill Falls. Also eat breakfast at The Hickory Valley Farm Restaurant. I like to tent camp but I'm afraid of being eaten by bears! Lol! Do you have a favorite place or places to camp? Somewhere that allows beer is essential to my good time link <--- this place is nice and has a ton of amenities. DH is like you and needs beer for his good time lol. You can drink here with no issues. Another good place is Keen Lake it's a private lake I believe. Lots of people we know go there and love it.

A lot because I don't want to deal with the crowds and parking. BUT, when I go traveling to another city/state/country the crowds and parking don't bother me. Go figure!

I live in Toronto and have never been up the CN tower. Maybe one day. It just seems like the most touristy thing to do here and I feel silly doing it.

We've been to pretty much everywhere major in this half of the state with the exception of Bedford Village and Old Economy Village (and I'm not sure those are really tourist attractions but they are still on my list.) We've also been to most on the other side of the state as well with the exception of some of the more notable state parks which we're going to start working our way through in a couple of weeks actually. I can't remember where I dragged my family a couple weeks ago but my husband was grumbling and I said "but this is what we do - we are adventure seekers!" and he grumbled that "no, YOU'RE the adventure person."

I have been to most of the Seattle area attractions but haven't seen the Fremont Troll or Ballard Locks. Oh, this made me laugh. We lived in the Seatlle area for 7 years and went to both with friends on our first visit back there . They were on my list of places to go before we moved and we ran out of time. We have hit most of the big, and many of the little, area attractions. Some with visiting friends and family and some just because we like to explore and take day trips. I still haven't been to either the Nixon or Reagan libraries and the Holocaust Museum is on my list, but I know it isn't going to be an easy day. SaveSave

I live just outside Los Angeles, so there's quite a bit of stuff. But what pops into my mind immediately is LaBrea Tar Pits. I've threatened to go a thousand times, but haven't actually made it there c

I have lived in the Dallas area all my life but have never visited the Grassy Knoll or the Kennedy assassination Museum. I pass the boarding house that Oswald lived in every day though.
I've lived in Texas all my life but never went to the Gulf Coast until my DD was asked to visit UTMB for an interview to get into their nursing school. After the interview, we walked on the beach together.

The Empire State Building. And I've only been to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island once. Both on school trips when I was a kid.

I've been there a handful of times, but this was the first time in the heat...the tar smell was pretty strong and there were new tar seeps that were pretty interesting. The Pit is a great place...a lot of amazing history.

There's still plenty in Michigan I've never been to. I went for the first time to the Henry Ford museum a few years ago. I've been over the bridge a few times but never went past st. Ignace so there's this whole other part of the state I'm seeing for the first time and I'm almost 40.
To be fair, dh never went to the world's longest breakfast table and still haven't and we live here. It's not all that great.

There are not any real MAJOR ones where I live, but I have been to most of the local attractions. Part of that is because my grandmother used to like to take day trips with me and my sister when I was younger. Once we even went on a two day trip that we thought was soooooo far away because we stayed in a hotel and even crossed the Mississippi River to a "whole other state!" Yeah, it was only around an hour and a half from home at most lol but we did lots of local tourist things along the way.
I kind of like playing local tourist thanks to my grandma.

Lots and lots and lots of things because DH hates crowds, tourist traps, museums... I think you get the idea. We recently met up with friends in Two Harbors for an ATV trip. On the way up, I saw signs for Gooseberry Falls and noted that I'd gone there many times as a kid and had fond memories of it. DH said he hadn't ever been. Once we were at our hotel, our friends asked if our kid might like to go see Split Rock lighthouse, so we went. Once there, DH mentioned that he'd never been there before either. There were a few other common things that DH said he'd never done and he's lived here all his life. I asked him, "What the heck, did you live under a rock when you were a kid?" His reply was, "Nope, we went to the cabin *every* weekend. We didn't have time to do any of that other stuff." I love gooseberry falls and splitrock lighthouse! That whole area is beautiful! Gooseberry Falls is one of my favorite places. I love wading in a waterfall! We're a military family and like to travel. So we see most of the famous places in an area that we move to. We live in DC now and I've been to most of the big attractions, but have never been to the Kennedy Center. DD and I are planning to see a play there before we move again!

I haven't been to the NC History museum. I remember taking a trip to the Natural History museum when I was in 2nd grade but have never been back.
I took my niece to the Art museum. She loved it. Her parents live out in the boonies and never take her anywhere. She was 13 before she'd ever been on a plane. She acted like I'd taken her to Disneyworld.
Turns out we only saw a small part of the Art museum. I'd like to go back. Dh and I just don't get out that much, and museums are long walks.

I lived in the DC area my whole life until age 24; yet didn't care/ appreciate ALLLLL that there was to see and do! We mainly saw most of the sites from field trips in Elementary school, because our parents weren't very interested in all the AMAZINGGG things there were to see an do! My sibs and I are still perplexed by that.
One thing my Dad DID love to take us to as children were Civil War Reinactments.....we still laugh at how we were so BORED, and only cared about when we would get to McDonald's !!!
After moving away, I was disappointed in myself for never appreciating it, and made up for it by being a non-stop tourist every time I / we would go back for a visit.

I came here on vacation when DH was on a short term assignment, before his job here became permanent. As I had no idea if I'd ever come back, I spent those 2 weeks seeing just about everything on the 'Munich Must See' list.
Since living here, I've been back to most of the tourist attractions several times, mainly with visiting relatives, but some of the museums and galleries I visit alone. There are a few I haven't visited - the Modern Art Gallery (been to the Old and New Galleries), the Natural History Museum, and the newly opened National Socialism Documentation Center. In part, I want to make to most of living here in the time we have - at some point we will return to Australia to live and Europe will be SO FAR AWAY!
There are a few places back in Australia (mainly Melbourne and Canberra) that I never visited when I lived there, but have been to as a tourist on trips back home.

In spite of living in Mickey Mouse's backyard, there are a lot of Mouse related and other theme park related places that I haven't been to. My kid routinely goes, but I haven't the desire anymore. I haven't been to any of the water parks, Busch Gardens, Universal (I know!) Legoland (although, I may take my nephews this summer so we can go to the water park area) and a whole host of other places.
I do kind of want to hit up Harry Potter world. The boy has been a couple of times and says it is pretty spectacular.

We never took the kids to the Grand Canyon when we lived in AZ. DH and I were less than interested when we went there and just didn't care to go back. Maybe some day.
My regret though is never going to Sedona in the 20 years we were in AZ.

We have been here 5 months and have been to that museum twice. The Museum of natural science is incredible too, we just did the annual membership to there and have been 3 times. It's wonderful when you live close and can break it down into parts and really take your time. I'm not sure how close you are, but you should check it out if you can!
