Just replaced my coffeemaker with a dual-brew coffee maker that uses either grounds or k-cups.
I'm not a big coffee person - I generally drink Folgers(half-caff or decaf) and add flavoured creamer. I never buy coffee out.
so...with that background, what k-cups should I try?
[and if you're wondering why I bothered - my MIL is coming to visit next month and she does drink coffee and prefers K-cups - so since I needed a new coffeemaker, I got one that would work for those also]

Oh my gosh---I just found Beradi's Hylander Creme--soooo good!
We order Tim Hortons from Amazon as well as a few others Regular types of coffees. I don't like any of the flavors other than Hylander

Berres Brothers' Streusel Cake is one of my favorite flavored coffees. You can get it in KCups (but I've never tried it made that way). I am, however, dismayed that I pulled that link up for you because now I definitely need cream puff coffee, and maybe peanut butter banana.

I believe Folgers has a K cup that is half caff.

I'm a fan of the green mountain breakfast blend. I also like Timothy's Columbian. I like a light roast. I have ordered from big cat coffee in the past and you can create your own box of five flavors of k cups. Works well becsuse you can get samples instead of a whole box of flavors you might not like.

I like Green Mountain, Eight O'Clock, Community, Caribou, and Dunkin Donuts. If I want flavor, I really like the Donut House brand Coconut Mocha. Starbucks K cups are hit and miss for me, even within the same flavor. I guess I drink too much of it from an actual Starbucks so I can really tell that the K Cups don't taste as good.

You'd be safe to go with a plain medium roast like Caribou, or if you think she likes a light roast, my faves are Caribou Daybreak or Starbucks Veranda. Some people (like me) despise flavored coffees.
Can I ask what brand of brewer you bought? Curious if it is the Ninja...

For K-cups I prefer Eight O'Clock original, Community (House Blend and Breakfast Blend in the a.m.) and McCafe. I like my coffee a bit more smooth and mild while DH goes for the darker, more bold coffee. I really prefer flavored coffee in whole beans that we grind ourselves. Not sure why. My sister-in-law doesn't like coffee, but loves the lipton sweet tea k-cups.
Enjoy your new coffee pot.

Green Mountain Nantucket blend is my favorite. I've tried others but I always go back to this one.

I would ask my MIL what brand/type she likes and then order it from Amazon. Amazon has many variety selections you might like to try.

I've only recently started drinking coffee (gave up diet coke as the aspartame doesn't agree with me, but I need caffeine and regular coke is way too sweet!). I like the Donut House Chocolate Glazed Donut K-cups. Has to be iced and with mocha creamer.

If you have a Harry & David near you (or even better... An H&D outlet store), their Moose Munch coffee is wonderful. They have a couple of other flavors that are really good too, but the Moose Munch is my favorite!

I love the McCafe don't know why but I think they are the perfect balance of not to strong but strong enough. stronger than a folders and not quite a starbucks.
Oh and Amazon does have the sampler packages, some are all flavors, some regular coffee and some decaff.
