I'm up with the weather spotters and trying to convince myself that I don't have to pee, because our sewer just backed up due to flooding so can't use the bathroom.
Tell me some useless trivia.

Swag, like when companies give away stuff, and not the urban definition, is an acronymn for Souvenirs, Wearables, and Gifts.

wales is in the semifinals Euro 2016 for the first time ever. the last third system fort was built in san francisco and finished in 1861..and the technology had made it out of date by the time it was finished.
the golden gate bridge was finished under budget and was the first major construction project to require hardhats. tom sawyer was the name of a fireman in san francisco.

Totally random and fluffy... My DS has been called Pippi Onestocking for the past 17 years. Since he was a baby, he has always pulled one sock off, in his sleep. 120 degrees, or 20 degrees outside.. He sleeps in socks, and one comes off. I know everyone loses socks in the dryer, but how do you lose an orange size 15-18 sock, in a 10x10 bedroom? Or a black one, or blue, or white...... He's colorblind but, seriously..the socks are gone.

In my house, a 12 lb wennie dog can take up over half of a king size bed when she sleeps.
I know this because my DH is crammed up on my side because Annie (our dog) i sprawled out. I am glad she is comfortable because I am not.

Today was the second day in a row that there was a frost in Auckland, which is pretty unusual. Cold, cold, cold! Only 2deg C (35 F) at 8am.
Beautiful clear sky though. Temperature got up to 55 mid-afternoon.

The BBC has a weekly feature called ten things we didn't know last week, it can featured some really odd stuff www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-36683448Number one on the list this week is that 10% of Iceland's population is in France at the moment following the exploits of their national football team. The team is playing France tonight for a place in one of the semi-finals and we will be cheering for Iceland as we want a Wales/Iceland final.

Another Euro 2016 story, a clear case of don't park in the short term carpark.
BBC
An airport will rip up former Wales striker Dean Saunders's huge parking fee if his home nation wins Euro 2016.
Saunders, working in France as a pundit for the BBC, left his car in a short stay area at Birmingham Airport thinking Wales would go out early.
But they have reached the semi-finals and Saunders said he expected to see his parking charges rise to £1,000.
The airport said on Twitter that if Wales win the tournament, it would "waive his parking fee".
Wales came from a goal down to beat Belgium 3-1 on Friday and reach the semi-finals of a major tournament for the first time.
Captain Ashley Williams equalised, before Hal Robson-Kanu, a striker without a club, gave them the lead and substitute Sam Vokes added a third to set up a last-four clash against Portugal on Wednesday.
Saunders, who won 75 Wales caps and whose former clubs include Liverpool and Aston Villa, also said he was running out of clean clothes.
The airport posted: "We can't help Dean with his clothes situation but if Wales win #EURO2016 we'll waive his parking fee!"

Our schools haven't even broken up yet! Whoa, when do they end for the year? Is that a traditional schedule or year 'round? Schools break up for the Summer holiday usually around mid July and return at the beginning of September.

This mornings fluff (literal fluff): I washed and dried a load of what I suppose was a lot of bright colors and when I cleaned out the dryer's lint filter it was like a rainbow and it made me wish I was way more artistic than I am because I bet someone could have done something really neat with it.

I saw this story years ago on a local station about someone who used drier lint to make art. She 'cooked' it with some other products and then molded it somehow. I've forgotten the process but I remember her saying how people would bring her bags of lint and she love to get the colorful ones. I often think of that when I wash beach towels and clean out the filter.

When there's a double rainbow, the colors in the second rainbow are in the opposite order as they are in the first rainbow. Also, a rainbow, seen from above is a circle.

I walked out of Publix the other day to a vivid double rainbow. It was so wonderful that people were stopping all over the parking lot to take pictures of it. It definitely made my day-but it never occured to me to check the order of the colors! I am going to go back and check.

Not trivia but kind of funny. Our church got car magnets, the pastor was inviting everybody to take one. He says there's one requirement if you're going to take one... Don't drive like a jerk! If you like to cut people off and like to let them know how much you like them with a one fingered wave, no car magnet for you! 😂
