I am trying a new recipe-- baked honey garlic chicken. It looked easy and tasty, so... I will make some noodleroni and probably some corn on the cob to go with it.

I think I'm clueless about another conversation going on here..... There's a big crap storm on a thread that carblover started a few weeks ago about a family birthday party. The condensed version is someone from here found her and then her brother-in-law on Facebook and directed him to this message board and the thread about the party. Carblover has deleted her account.

Thank you for the nice wishes about the concert. Date nights are so much fun.
I dislike the fact that we might have lost @carblover443 from this thread. She's a really sweet woman and I cannot imagine her saying or doing anything that would cause her to leave. Carblover443, if you're reading this, know that you'll be very missed and if you choose to come back you can sit at my lunch table. This very thing is the reason why I keep my info so private on the board. Ya, ya'll know I don't eat. Big deal. As much as I'd like to share more of my private self it's just too friggin' dangerous.
ETA: Read the thread in question. It sucks.

We tried a grilled Portobello and chimichurra recipe Annabella linked the other day, and it was terrific!

Too hot to cook so I fried up some Turkey Kielbasa, corn on the cob and watermelon. Frozen Yogurt later for dessert.

It s stinking hot here so I have a pasta salad already made for dinner. DH is out fishing so if he brings home tuna I might be persuaded to grill a piece. Cool, you're in a place that he could catch a tuna? I'm not at all familiar with fishing but I thought they were a deep water only fish? I love tuna steaks!

We've been moving all day so we ordered pizza. I hate pizza but I'll suck it up because I'm starving and too tired to go to the store. The horror of your statement!!! Well you better sit down for this one. I hate Italian food, chocolate and most anything sweet related. Lol.

DH brought home a barracuda and couple of bass, but no tuna today. They didn't go out far enough for the tuna. It is a deep water fish and regularly caught off the southern CA coast. One of his employees has been supplying us with tuna a couple of times a month so we have been very spoiled this year. I have never cooked or eaten barracuda before. Not sure what to do with it so it went into the freezer. SaveSave

Here's the link. I don't think there's anything secret about it. It's been at the top of page one all day. A sad thing to have happen to our community here. carblover's thread

I actually have them on hand most of the time, for stir fries or faux quiches (crustless lower calorie versions). I've always liked mushrooms

I didn't "like" your post because of what happened, just acknowledging that I saw it your answer. This board and the old board can/could be/was very scary in regards to putting out a bunch of personal information. I learned that mistake the hard way. BTW - it's 7:30pm and we STILL haven't made those damn pizzas......this heat is kicking my butt and appetite.

What happened to CL is atrocious. Wow! I am so sorry, and I hope that she comes back. I have been insanely busy, so I haven't been here. Last night, I ran to the deli and bought popcorn chicken, orange chicken and hard salami with rye bread for my children - who are always "starving" - to eat. They had their choice for dinner. Then, DS1 came home from his friends, and the mom sent fried chicken, rice, gravy and rolls. So a whole 'nother meal. So of course - of course - both of my children are gone for the evening and do not need dinner here. Oh, the irony. I am enjoying some friend chicken. Alone. And working. Lisa
