Ugh I'm 44 and I'm guessing it is time. All is blurry. I've been using reading glasses for 2.5 years. I'll be getting an apt to find out.

Since I was 12. I don't even really remember what it's like to just be able to open my eyes and see clearly.

I've been wearing them full time since I was a young child. I love wearing glasses and prefer them over contact lenses. I love having several styles to choose from and wearing them as an accessory. Don't get me wrong - I wish I could see clearly without them and sometimes find them a hassle - but I think my face looks right with glasses.
My daughter is disappointed every single year when she goes to my eye doctor with me and she can read the smallest print on the chart - she desperately wants to wear glasses.

I started wearing glasses when I was 8. I'm 45, and I think I'm getting to the point where I'm going to need reading glasses. I did use some last week when I made cookies and the recipe on the back of the caramel chip package was super tiny.
ETA: I wear contacts, so adding reading glasses isn't a huge deal. I may end up trying monovision eventually.

I got my first glasses at 11. But I've been wearing contacts since I was 14. Hate hate hate wearing glasses. They annoy me.

I was 8. DS was 8. DD was 8. Guess it runs in the family!
DH started wearing cheaters when he was about 46. He's 48 now, almost 49 and he just started wearing glasses full time this spring. His eyesight really has gone downhill fast in the past year.

I've been wearing bifocals for at least 20-25 years. I've only started wearing them All THE TIME about 4 or 5 years ago.

I got my glasses at 10. I'm hoping my near vision stays strong!

I was in second grade back in the day when glasses weren't cool - remember "four eyes?"
At sixteen, my eye doctor said I could wear contacts, and I have ever since. I have a pair of glasses, just in case, but the lenses are so thick. Ewww.
I do grab cheaters now, even though my contacts are supposed to correct both near and far sightedness. Things just aren't as clear and sharp as they used to be.

I got them in high school for distance, and I still only wear them for distance. I can still read small print and computer screens without cheaters.

Since I was around 11 or 12. It was amazing to see trees had individual leaves. I don't remember ever seeing clearly like that before.

I got glasses when I was six or seven. I probably needed them before that. And it wasn't until my 30s that my prescription finally stopped getting worse.

I was a sophomore in high school and I'm 45 now.
I've never worn contacts and actually prefer the way I look in glasses rather than without.

I was about 19 when I started to notice deteriorating vision. It went very quickly from there and I have a very strong perscription that still hasn't quite stabilized (46 years old).
I started to wear readers at 40, but, I only need them with my contacts in. When I have my contacts out I can't see anything past my elbow, but, I can see perfectly close up!!

3rd grade I have an appointment next week and I am pretty sure I will be getting bifocals or progressives. I am almost 48.

Since fourth grade, however old that is. I've always been nearsighted until a couple years ago now I can't see close up either. Ideally I need bi-focals, but my vertigo prevents that. So whenever I'm reading or doing computer work I wear glasses...on top of glasses. Lol.

Since I was 11. I did wear contacts for a little under a year back in high school, but my eyes didn't tolerate them well, so it's been glasses ever since.

since grade 3. then contacts almost exclusively after age 16. in the last year my close-up vision has gone downhill, but i'm still holding off on getting reading glasses. I wear contacts so i won't have to wear glasses! it annoys me that i need both

5. I actually wore bifocals in grade school. Then I switched to hard contacts at about 5th grade to slow down how fast my vision changed (about every 3 months); it did help to a certain extent.

I started wearing contacts at about 20 (long distance) I had laser surgery at 34 After 14 glorious glasses-free years I had to get glasses again last year at 48 I don't need reading glasses yet but I don't think it's too far away.
