After a relaxing hour at acupuncture I will pick up oldest ds at an appointment and then we'll pick up pizza. I like to keep the mellow going after acupuncture and let it do it's job. I'm telling you, it's good stuff and I highly recommend it. Last night I made a new recipe from Giada, orechiette with chicken meatballs. Everyone liked it. Picky eater had seconds. www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giada-de-laurentiis/orecchiette-with-mini-chicken-meatballs-recipe.htmlWhat's on your menu? Despite recent goings on and losing some members of our thread I hope everyone else will stay w/us. No one can identify you based upon your dinner choices. Be careful what you put out there when posting, but posting your dinner choice is likely safe. Meanwhile, I'll leave two chairs open and hope for the return of KelleeM and carblover443.

That's the way I feel at the moment. I am over thinking about dinner all the time. I'll check back later.

We're having Mississippi Pot Roast, rice, steamed cauliflower, carrots, and a green vegetable (broccoli or beans), and I'm not sure what else. Enjoy your mellow, scrapmaven!

This is a very bad Fibro day for me and I am hurting so bad, I am gritting my teeth. So we are having the leftover baked pasta casserole I made for lunch on Saturday with a bagged salad and sweet onion vinaigrette. If you are in my house and don't want it, you know where all the take out places are!

We barbecued today, it's the last hot day (relatively speaking, it's Norway after all, and 25 C is considered "too hot" for a lot of people, DH included). I made lemon mousse for dessert (loooove lemon!) and I ate so much that I feel a little bit sick (but it was worth it).

Curry tofu, steamed rice and purple cauliflower, not real exciting, but at least it will be colorful.

We are having leftovers from Low County Boil. Just enough of everything for DH and I to share - even lemonade pie for dessert.

Meatless Monday here. I'm making a squash casserole, and DH has requested okra and tomatoes on rice. I guess that we will finish the peach pie. Thanks for your positivity, scrapmaven. It is sad that our little thread has been affected by recent events at the pod. naby64, I hope you're feeling better soon. Your job today is to get absolute rest. Hope it helps a bit. I doubt that the weather is helping.

I'm giving my Instant Pot a rest tonight and making taco salad. I'm just sick about the whole carblover situation, and I hope KelleeM has a nice break. All of us dinner thread regulars are kinda like family. I'm going to miss them.

Our Homechef box got lost in shipment this week... I'm lost! DH is grilling burgers tonight along with some corn on the cob. I'll make up some sweet potato fries as well.

There are a couple pc recipes using ground beef so I am going to pick one of those to go along with the pc potato salad I made Saturday and had for our family lunch yesterday. We also have leftover cantaloupe and watermelon to go along with whatever I choose........easy one tonight.

We had grilled shoe leather, uh, steak last night. We split one, and have another to labor over tonight. Probably finish up some corn, too. I did make hot German potato salad last night, so those leftovers will be at least edible!

Same choices all week - chicken parm casserole, grilled turkey tenderloins, grilled bbq chicken tenderloins, garlic & mozzarella chicken sausages, oven roasted potatoes, oven roasted broccoli, grilled green beans, salad. I have no idea yet what I'm going to have. I'm thinking a sausage and a few potatoes with some broccoli.

Wow. I was out of town for a week and now some of our dinner buddies are gone. I am saddened by this.
It is so hot. I want to make a quiche, but will not. Likely going to make pasta with the broccoli and pesto I have.
Hugs to all. Thanks for the thread.

I have decided...... Grilled bacon wrapped hamburger patties, grilled corn and a veggie.
It's so freaking hot! It will be hot grilling but turning the oven on isn't going to happen.

I feel the same. This little sub-group on the dinner thread seems harmless enough. As I said yesterday, it was just a horrible reminder that we all need to be circumspect in what we post. What's for dinner?! Not much. Due to crazy work schedules today we are just now finishing lunch (salad for me and chips/salsa for DH). He'll probably get into some cereal later, but I'm done for the day.

I was going to have ham but since today is supposed to be the coolest day of the week, I think I'll bake chicken thighs tonight with a green salad and a fruit salad. The fruit has been divine this summer.
