Is it possible to prevent heat damage? What products work for protecting your hair from damage? With all the regrow and layering from my brain surgeries my hair looks better if I curl it rather than leave it strait. Thanks! Jen

My hairdresser told me she noticed a difference when I starting washing it every other day. It took a few months for the oil production to slow down, but it is funny how people mention they like my hair on the second day.

Yeah, there are lots of heat protectant sprays you can use before styling. Redken makes one, the name escapes me at the moment. I personally use a spray on my wet hair, since I'm gonna end up blow drying it. Sometimes I then curl in the morning, but I don't add anything when I do.
