So, I'm a member of a craft group on facebook. One of the ladies posted about pricing for cloth tampons that she sells on Etsy.
Tampons. Made out of yarn. Reusable. In many colors.

Nope. Never happening. I'm actually a big believer in cloth pads for nighttime wear, but cloth tampons? No.

Nope. The great big super plus ones are barely enough for me. I don't even want to know how awful it would be if I had to use those . . . and then clean them. Gross.

YARN tampons? I had no clue such a thing existed. I think I would have been OK without knowing. I'm oddly fascinated, though, because I'm having a hard time imagining how well they'd work.

Maybe for a knitted uterus.

I guess it's really no different than using a cloth pad (She has some made with cotton, just just crocheted), but for some reason it sounds like a bigger pain to deal with than cloth pads.
The crocheted ones baffle me, though. How does something with holes do the job properly??

Those directions are way too intricate. No way am I washing, soaking, vinegar washing, rinsing, and line drying yarn tampons.

I am so glad I don't have to deal with those. I just don't think I could do it. Ouch

I don't care how many landfills it takes...some things are meant to be disposable.

So that's like the reverse of the "artistic" vag knitter (surely you've seen this, but if not, just google that), right?

Another no way from me! When it comes out it plops right in the toilet. Sorry, not cleaning these because it would require a special sink since I seem to bleed 20 days out of the month.

Having gone through the change I don't have to even think about this. Which is good because thinking about it makes my stomach do funny things.

Knit wear tends to leave little fibers, doesn't it? No thank you.
