This was a productive day. I organized and put away the last couple of months of project debris and have a fresh start for fall. I worked on a card from my SSS card kit, using Vicki P''s "10 cards from one kit" video. It's always a fun way to get the most out of the kits. I can't wait to make more this week.

I did one and half layouts yesterday and worked on the journaling for the second one today. I just now need to print it out and put the rest of the page together.

Yay for this thread! It's a good motivator, wanting to be able to post something.
This weekend I finished a 8.5x11 layout about my ds on the computer, and used several PL cards.
Late last night I started a layout about my daughters, and have tried (and succeeded) using the sunburst technique with 6x6 patterned paper. So, it's more a large accent, but much easier than I thought it would be.

My DD19 was home for five days, so I'm late to get started. Over the next two or three days, I'd like to work on four layouts of her 18th birthday in Italy. These will be for my album, not her Italy albums. I'd like to make a page about when DS29 was in 4th/5th grade and a page about his room in Georgia from the same time period. I have the kits and pictures all ready to go.
I need to get pictures ordered for another new project. I'd like to make my sister, myself and her three kids each an album with all the pictures they've been sending me lately. I'm so thankful for not only the technology that allows us to share our lives/adventures, but that I have six kiddos (my three and her three) that are willing to share their lives with me and truly want me to document about it. Maybe I'll start a 30 days of thankful album about that from another thread...I love new projects!
But first errands with my mom. I'd like to remember to take a few pictures with her, too.

I finished two layouts yesterday and started a third. I've had a piece of Daily Flash set aside for months for a layout of my daughter's favorite books. It's the one with books on a shelf. Rainboots Thickers match it perfectly. I have a picture in my head about how it should look so hopefully I can make it happen.

For our anniversary (which was last month) my husband gave me a picture of me taking a picture and wrote me a letter telling me he loves to watch me taking photos and doing what I love and am passionate about. He wanted me to make a scrapbook layout of the picture and letter and frame it. I just finished that layout!

Today I made four of the six layouts I had planned to work on over the next few days. Two of the birthday layouts and the two layouts of my son when he was young.
Tomorrow I'm hoping to do the other two birthday layouts, one about IKEA, a baby shower layout and my daughters nursery from 1997. I'll need to grab a baby kit for the last two layouts.

Two more cards from the SSS October kit tonight. I'm a fairly new stamper and card maker, so it's a fun way to learn new things.

I discovered that I actually scrap more if I leave my room messy than if I clean it. that way I can just duck in and scrap when I have a 1/2 hr window, without having to pull everything out. I have done 22 layouts in the last month.!! My current album was looking full so I counted. I was quite surprised

I finally got my photos (104) for the album I want to make for my mum's birthday. I ordered them Monday afternoon online as one-hour store pickup. They weren't ready until 8pm Tuesday...and no one had any idea what took so long.
So hoping to start scrapping them today -yay!

I finished a 4-page layout from halloween 2015. My altered rolodex cards for a swap. I'm currently working on accent cards in a halloween theme for the same swap.

Making progress on the scrapbook for my mum. I have photo prints and a plan (8x8 with a double-page layout per decade plus layouts for her wedding, best friend, 75th birthday, parents, and family tree). This'll be a gift for her 80th birthday Nov 5th.
So far, I've done the title page and a double-page layout for the 1930s, Working on the 1940s now. Pretty simple pages - cardstock and some CADD heritage toppers from eons ago (c. 1998-2000 I think) for the early decades. I want to highlight the photos and journalling so not much embellishing.

Tuesday I finished the two birthday layouts but nothing since. DD17 and I have been busy, so I switched gears and worked on my Japan kit (for DS29's January trip) in my down time. I love to work on kits when I don't feel creative or don't have time to really spend on layouts.
I think I'll make a layout about Kitten Academy today. It's a live YouTube channel that I love to check in on to see what's going on with the fostered kittens. My family thinks I'm crazy...so I like to drive them crazy with updates! Just a glimpse into my silly world...

Yesterday I started and finished an entire one page layout - while waiting on hold on the phone!
LOL!
It was a sweet sixteen layout. I had birthday paper. I had a Sweet Sixteen Jolees sticker pack. And easy peasy it went together.
I did the finishing touches on two layouts, that I am glad to have done. They were just everyday moments, but were frustrating me.
I started another layout yesterday, but it's sitting on my desk, waiting for me. My goal for that layout is to use stamps on it that I don't usually use. Including the Stampin Up ones I just bought at the thrift store.

I watched a little yesterday and they were all jumping around and playing. So cute! I think it's sweet how much he has done for his pets and the kittens he fosters. So far I haven't even planned what I might scrapbook today. I'm waiting on a print order from Office Depot with some Japanese cut-aparts. I'll do that tonight while we binge watch Netflix, maybe. I have a box that I'm adding goodies to as I come across things that I think will work. The Japan albums (6x8 or 8x8)will be for my son, but I think they will live with me until he wants them. I'm sure I'll do some 12x12 pages for my albums. I put all the recent pictures of my sisters kids in an album on my phone, but I haven't ordered the pictures yet. I still need to go through current orders to see what pictures I already have. It really is inspiring to read about what everyone is accomplishing! It also has given me ideas for more albums I'd like to work on...

New supplies are in hand from Kat Scrappiness (nested circle dies and sequin mixes) and Simon Says Stamp (Thanksgiving sentiment stamp), so I'm ready to continue on with the card-making extravaganza this weekend.
