I got pictures in the mail today, too. I'm still dealing with fatigue and it's hard to be motivated to do anything but I'd love to start working on my 2015 monthly review layouts. They should be quick, easy, and full of great memories that need to be documented. Linda, I'm sure she'll love to have all of those memories in one place to look through and reminisce.

It is terrible weather here - cold, rain and hail - perfect for scrapping. I finished another page last night bringing me up to four for the last two weeks, and I have another one nearly finished on my desk.

While I didn't do any pages today, I did get all the pictures together of my sisters kids for 2015 and 2016 that were in the house. They have ongoing Christmas albums, so I didn't gather those. Now I know which pictures need to be ordered and I won't duplicate. I put the pictures in the sheet protectors in their albums to make the project easier and to get a count.
As I was going through my picture stash from the past couple of years, I realized that I have a never ending supply of inspiration...I wanted to stop what I was doing and scrap this or that. It didn't overwhelm me, but made me realize I could scrap forever! It also made me wonder why I haven't been printing more of the past year. I need to get to work on that!

It's shaping up to be another wet and cold day here and my SO was out all night so will be sleeping most of the day so I'm looking forward to another day of scrapping. I've completed five pages so far in the last two week (a mammoth effort for me!). This is my latest page:

I'm just about to get into some scrapping. Working on pages for a travel album - old photos from the 90s from the time I was living in the UK and did a lot of travelling around Europe.

Yesterday I got busy with my 2015 monthly review layouts. I trimmed all the pictures and adhered them all to cardstock. I made sketches for all of them a couple of weeks ago so it went pretty quickly. So all 12 layouts are done up to that point. Next up will be finding paper to go with them.
Well, the past two weeks didn't go exactly as planned but it was fun to hear about what all of you accomplished and to see a few layouts too. Maybe we should have a weekly thread to share what we're working on.
***ETA*** Or maybe monthly? It would be nice to keep track of what I've accomplished monthly. I used to keep track in my siggy but I haven't since two peas.

I used to keep track in my siggy but I haven't since two peas. It's nice to hear what others are working on! I ordered and picked up (Costco)the rest of my pictures for my sister and her kids albums. All the pictures are in sheet protectors ready to be scrapbooked...158 pages worth. This morning was spent ordering more pictures from Shutterfly and Amazon Prints. There were deals that I wanted to use. I ordered the pictures for my mom an album with my sisters family and mine, plus her and her husband. 2015-2016ish. I realized that if I brought my sister and kids albums to our Christmas party, but not one for my mom...rude! I also ordered pictures that would go in other albums. I'm not sure if any actual scrapbooking will get done today because as soon as the football game is over we'll be doing yard work. Allergies...ugh!

I kept track for three years, but didn't this year when I realized I wasn't doing nearly as much. I'm finally feeling like I can be creative again, but don't regret not counting.

I would love a weekly or monthly thread. I didn't get much done these two weeks because of my surgery but I have a lot of scrappy plans so... Let's keep using this one until the end of the month. Last night I found paper and embellishments for my January 2015 layout and got them all adhered. It just needs journaling, but I might do the journaling for all the layouts at once. Batch scrapping works for me. On to February!

Let's keep using this one until the end of the month. That works for me. I need to finish sewing a Hallowe'en costume today but hopefully can make some more progress on my mum's album later today

I just committed to working through a collection pack in the other thread. Super excited to get that started. I made one 5.5x8.5 layout for my nephews book, but I wasn't overly excited about the layout. I've laid out the page that goes next to it and I'm hoping it will make me like both. These are not from my collection challenge.
So...now that I have a plan, I better get to work! Hope you all get a ton done this week! I'll keep you posted on my progress.

Thanks Elsabelle - unfortunately any more progress needs to wait for tomorrow. I'm just back from a skating rink party with my youngest and I'm exhausted - dinner is cooking and then I'm off to bed. I don't know if I'm just not sleeping well or if healing/being on crutches is taking a lot out of me but by 730/8, I'm done

I don't know if I'm just not sleeping well or if healing/being on crutches is taking a lot out of me but by 730/8, I'm done I'm sure the healing/being on crutches is taking a lot out you. I know when I'm tired I might as well sleep instead of trying to be creative. Hopefully you recover quickly! After finishing the 24 layouts from that collection I put them all in the correct albums and changed gears. While watching tv with DH, I worked on my Japanese cut aparts. Tomorrow I will go back to working on my sister and her kids albums with an endless amount of supplies. As much fun as seeing how much I could make with one collection, I have more than enough supplies to pile it on if I want!!!

Sounds like everyone is having a fun and productive scrappy adventure! Would love to have a chance to join in for November. I am hoping to get my Christmas cards made, get caught up on my family calendar pages, create a little story book for one of my dgk's, do some travel pages for my trip and a few pages with photos the kids have sent me while I was gone. And I have decided to at least START a 30 days of Thankfulness project. Hey linda ! You are scrapping? On crutches? Plus making Halloween costumes and taking kids skating? I have been gone for most of the month of October and missed the details of this.

I finally feel creative again...yay! I've completed four pages today for my moms 11x8.5 album. I have one layout for my nephews album laid out in front of me and I'd like to layout a few more to work on.
I also want to order more pictures with the Shutterfly 101 free prints offer. Trying to keep endless inspiration in the house even though I have projects lined up to do.
Hope everyone finds some time to do something scrappy this week!

Hey linda ! You are scrapping? On crutches? Plus making Halloween costumes and taking kids skating? I have been gone for most of the month of October and missed the details of this. lol - yes - I had knee surgery on the 10th and am still on crutches Older DD's pirate costume was made pre-surgery but younger DD's elf costume was finished afterwards. I wasn't skating - just chaperoning, lol. I don't skate on a good day. Yesterday was a Geocaching day for the Girl Scout troop - DH took the lead on that thankfully since I wasn't up to hiking but we spent 5 hours at the park - the girls earnt their Geocacher badge in the morning, had a picnic lunch, decorated cupcakes for Juliette Gordon Low's birthday (GS founder) and then went on a hike - fun but exhausting. I did the grocery shopping afterwards - younger DD pushed the cart for me - she's a good helper. Today I'm scrapping - 1 2-pg layout done and a second almost done.

I love the idea of a monthly thread. I keep track of cards and layouts in my sig but not all of the other items (like swaps, even if it's a layout.) But I'm probably not going to get a lot done until next year. It's cleaning, family, school time which will take most of my time.

I'm hoping to do a little scrapping today, too. I'm having a couple of friends over to scrap next month and I'm so excited about it. One of my friends used to scrap years ago and would like to get back into it. The other one bought stuff years ago but didn't know what to do so she never started. Probably a lot of the day will be about helping her get started and I'm happy to help her.
