I don't mean to be a pain, or mean, but has anyone read a new date? I have a few days off and would love to review my classes. It STILL says coming in November 2016. I can't believe she cannot at least update the banner. I had time over Thanksgiving to do some of the classes I had already purchased, but no such luck. I never imagined I still would not have access to my purchased classes during the Christmas break.

I guess there was a question on Facebook asking when someone could get access to her classes. The response was that the website is totally ready to go, but they are now putting the customer information in. Something about going as fast as they could...or something to that effect. I don't have Facebook, but my DD told me about it.
I'm glad I don't have classes that I didn't download. I would be irritated. It has been WAY too long.

I'm really surprised that her site has been down for so long. Her classes are amazing and now I know why I downloaded them. I'd be less than pleased if I didn't have access to them for as long as her site has been down!

I feel like a fool for not saving them before. I be been using my Silhouette and could enjoy the benefit of her tips- like reviewing your camera manual after you've been using it.

I just recently got my Silhouette and planned to take her class. But I have done so much experimenting and reading and asking questions that I'm not sure I will need the class now. I can do pretty much whatever I want to do with it. I couldn't wait to learn it until the new website was up. I'm glad I didn't wait around for 3 months. I hope you get access to your classes soon! It has now been 4 months. I'm hoping it comes back up soon. She has some cute files I should have downloaded when I first saw them. Waiting....waiting....

Loydene, I don't even know the names, I just remember some cute winter files with ice skates and a sled. I was also looking for her curly Christmas tree, but think I have found one I can use. Thank you for your offer. I just loved scrolling through her files when I got a new packet of photos and was planning in my mind what I could use. I have some cute winter photos and may buy the winter collection if the site ever comes back. I also downloaded some free leaf stems that I use a lot, but put them into SCAL when I had my Cricut. I finally figured out how to change my SCUT file back to an SVG so I could use it in the Silhouette. It would have been easier to just download the freebie again. LOL I don't think I will ever buy a class from her again, but may buy files that I can instantly download as I pay for them.

nylene no problem -- I checked to see if I had anything like what you said but I don't see anything like a curly Christmas tree! I have a stacked triangle tree. I don't usually do sleds and skates! Didn't hurt to look!

Thanks for checking for me, Loydene. That was really sweet of you. I found some winter clip art images online and will probably use those. Thanks again. You are a PEAch!

I have bought several products from SVG cuts. They also frequently have free cut files so I visit their site often. I love the pop up card files. I bought several sets. Their tutorial videos are excellent quality. SVGcuts.com is the website.

Thanks, sophikins. I spent too much time today just looking through that site today. I found lots of files I would love. Thanks to you and Loydene for the information. I will watch for the free ones too. I appreciate your posting.

nylene I'm thinking that there is a whole catagory of free files at SVG Cuts -- yeah - I just checked -- look at the menu just below their name. I really like Mary's esthetic - she has some pretty bold designs -- I've made a bunch of her box cards (totally love the Springtime Box Cards bundle and the Sunday's With Dad has an AMAZING tackle box!) And each file has an assembly video which is fun to watch as well as informative! Mary's former husband is Leo and he now runs Dreaming Tree. Also has some great box cards and shadow box cards. I like their esthetic less - too "old world ornate" for my taste, on the whole, but they do have some products I've enjoyed building! I don't think Leo is as good in the assembly videos as Mary -- I quickly get to the point where I was to slap him if he says "okay" again! There are lots of places with great SVG files!

Thanks, Loydene! That is a great site for free files and files for sale. I spent some time there yesterday and plan to go there again today. I had to laugh at your "I quickly get to the point where I wanted to slap him if he says "okay" again!" The thing that gets to me in videos is "then you go ahead and......., then you go ahead and....., then you go ahead and..... The files you buy from Silhouette don't always have tutorials or instructions. I'm glad to know there are tutorials for SVGcuts.

anonrefugee Bradford's Facebook said "soon". Of course, there wasn't a definition included with the word "soon" -- and early on she thought 2 months was a "reasonable" time to withhold access to purchases! So .... I didn't "take heart"! nylene There are some designer at the Silhouette Design Store who have a separate site of their own and who also provide good assembly directions -- not usually in video form, but either on the web site, or in downloadable pdf. SnapDragonSnipettes and Marji Roy both come to mind with excellent step-out assembly instructions! And many others provide some help as well. Look for the information in the descriptions on the individual page of a design in the Silhouette Design Store.

Loydene, thanks for the info. I did finally figure out that Lori Whitlock has tutorials for some of hers. I need to be more careful to search that out before I buy a file. I have never looked at SnapDragonSnippetts or Marji Roy files, so now I'm anxious to check them out. I love the instructions that come with Miss Kate Cuttables if you buy the file from her site. I find them very helpful on ome of the more complicated designs.

nylene The companies I named provide tutorials whether or not you buy the files from the design store or from them. Some others, as you said, only have a tutorial with the purchase from their site! I purchase other svg files - but I also have a subscription at the Silhouette Design store so that really is the first place I check

I have so many classes I have not been able to access for four months. That is 1/3 of a year! I've never done business with anyone who's refused to provide a product, service or commodity for this long. Companies and individuals who've made mistakes have fixed it! Even if it took a few weeks. This is extra aggravating, it's not as if we have to wait for a motor to be assembled or a widget to ship. Its almost solely within the control of KB Studios. Where do you report a ripoff?

Where do you report a ripoff? I don't know how the US regulations work so I can't help you. But for those who paid through Paypal, you have a lenghty period (several months) to report a problem with undelivered goods. You would be reaching the deadline soon if you purchased end of last summer though...

Interesting to think about. If the "goods" are tutorials that are supposed to be available on line and they have not been available for more than four months, even though they were purchased a year ago, how would that work? From past experience it can get messy. What were the terms an conditions when the purchase was made? For example, "lifetime access" is often a term used but what does it mean? Lifetime of the website? Lifetime of the designer? Your lifetime? Some may remember the demise of a subscription digital scrapbook site some 10 years ago now. Subscriptions were still being taken right up until the site closed on Christmas Day. Those who used Paypal lodged complaints; I don't know how many received their money back. Others had paid subscriptions but not made use of the content immediately. According to the site's terms and conditions the owner was quite within their rights to pull the plug - because the fine print warned that changes could be made at any time. By purchasing one agreed to those terms and therefore any changes made in the future - including closing down the site. The lesson I've learned in all this is to make use of purchases immediately and download whatever is available.
