Anyone know when Kerri Bradford will have her site up and running again. I need to have access to the class materials I bought that were supposed to be a lifetime access. I was sure it would be fixed by now, but I really need it by Nov.1.
It still just says under construction and has for several weeks.

Didn't her site get hacked? I thought I read that a couple of weeks ago.

I've messaged her a couple of times -- also wanting access. I don't think she is really "thinking" anything - just waiting for the web developers. Frankly, while I want the classes, particularly at the birthday sale price, I am wholly unimpressed with her lackadaisical attitude about getting this information available to her purchasers! She did provide the "freebies" -- her term -- the svg files that coordinate with the classes. And yes -- she is pretty quick to be taking new orders while failing to attend to previous purchases!

That's really annoying. I bought a couple of classes as well. Just as well I don't want to review lessons right now. SaveSave

I read that she got hacked, but she indicated it was being worked on and would be back up soon. That was quite a while ago.
I don't have Facebook so I can't contact her there, but I won't be happy if I can't get my info before the 1st. I think she's in no hurry to get it back up and running, as long as she can sell from another site. I'm counting the days!!

UPDATE: I got an email address from another site, www.kerribradford@msn.com. I emailed and she said she is still a couple of weeks out from having her site up and running. She gave me the a link to the class I needed. The link didn't include the SVG files I need so I have messaged her again. My 14 year old granddaughter does the NANOWRIMO writing in November every year. She wants me to write with her, but I don't really have a desire to write a novel, so I am planning to finish The History Project that I bought several years ago. That way she will feel like I'm with her and we can compare # of words done each night. I think it will be a great bonding experience and besides, I will have finished much of my history. Loydene, did you contact her on Facebook? If so, try the msn address. She answered within just a few minutes. I let her know in the email that I really needed them before the 1st. I think it helped to have a deadline. Good luck getting the files you need.

I certainly have NOT experienced that! She has been very active/responsive both on Facebook and Instagram as well as via email. I had an order that I placed right before her site went down, and she sent me all the files I needed --even before I contacted her. I also had an older order I had not yet downloaded and she sent those as soon as I contacted her about it. It may be a few weeks away - looks like it is a total rebuild of the site. She had posted a preview of what the Classroom site would look like, so it's getting there.

On Facebook she indicated that she hopes to have it up and running by the first part of November - but no exact date. She is usually very responsive to customers but there may be things she can't entirely control at this point.

Loydene, did you try again to send a message at the msn.com address. It sounds like she is responding to that and actually can send you the access you need.

Thank you for thinking of me! I've communicated with her at various addresses -- and she specifically said she could not. Here is what she said on October 13: As for access to classes, I'm sorry I can't give access to something that is still in progress--new site, new classrooms, new everything. The old site was broken by the hack and rather than spend time fixing something broken, we decided to focus all efforts on the new site. Luckily we'd already started on a new one, so it's going to be available quicker than if we had to start from the beginning. If you'd like, I can give you a refund on the classes, but they will most likely never be half off again. It was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of sale to celebrate the dawn of 50. But if you can hold on for just a bit more, then all will be well.

I would think the classes should be all written and ready to go before they go they are sold. Good luck getting your info. Save

Sorry to be clueless - but why would someone want to hack her site? Does anyone outside of the sb world know who she is?

I don't think the hack was specific to her - it was just randomly malicious as happens in cyberland.

I swear -- I really don't mean to be so "entitled" but DANG -- when I purchase something I expect to receive it --- not excuses about delays!
Post at Facebook from Kari Bradford Studios: ... "Not much left to do on the new site. Will hopefully be back up the second week of November, what with a wedding happening next week and all."
So - since my purchase of September 16 -- even though "there isn't much left to do on the new site" -- I have to wait an extra week due to a social commitment -- one that has been foreseeable for some time now! And frankly, for my calendar -- 2nd week of November starts a much busier time for me so I won't have the time to expend on the classes I purchased 2 months ago when I had time to expend!

And not just a "social commitment" -but iI believe that this is the wedding of one of her children??!!! To get a new website up and running is one thing, but to verify all the content and functionality is quite another. I would much rather have a fully tested and complete site when it is ready, not rushed in. And I am also waiting for access to a class I had purchased. But I know what the process is and how long it can really take after a destructive hack.

Thank you for your second hand-slap in defense of Kari Bradford. I believe that one of the banes of the scrapbooking industry has been women who sell designs and stuff on-line yet fail to proceed as a business. We've heard every excuse that every creative housewife "entrepreneur" can devise -- sick kids, over obligated, etc. But very few of us would tolerate any other sort of business failing to deliver what is paid for and providing nebulous suggestions as to when it will actually be available -- and frankly, there are laws against exactly that. So ... yes ... I'm feeling entitled to receive what I bought in good faith and have access to those things I purchased previously for which I was promised "lifetime access. A conscientious business person should make it a priority to deliver the product they sell -- if their web site goes down for whatever reason, there should be a priority placed on getting it back up.

I have no dog in this fight because I'm not waiting for anything from her thank goodness. I'd be livid. I expect professionalism and will not shop at mommy hobby stores. We are all tired of the excuses from her and other small businesses. I understand her site was hacked and she has no control over that. However what she does have control over are her products, her business image, and the way she treats customers. To make her customers wait patiently while she rebuilds a new website while she refuses to email materials for purchased classes and content is unprofessional. I don't blame people for being upset. If you want to be a "business woman" then treat it like a business all of the time not just when it is convenient. You are ok to wait on Kerri. Other people are not. I'd be in the oh hell no camp.

Oh my. I feel sorry for her for the problems, but it's taking a long time. I'm so tired of these business owners using their personal lives as excuses.

Even with her site being down and having to start all over, I will say that she is being very good about getting back to people. I had a project I was working on and had a deadline to meet. I ended up sending her a PM on facebook and she was able to email me photos from the store and I selected cut files that way and she emailed me a paypal invoice and the files once I paid the invoice. She could have very easily just told me that nothing could be done while the site was down, but instead found a work around to help a customer.

I have classes and files there, but aren't working on them now, but have a free week coming up. I will do a better job downloading and saving things. I should have learned my lesson from BPS. I do not think it's entitled to expect the product you you purchased. I never understand that attitude, or accusation, in our hobby. It clearly hasn't helped sustain businesses or the industry. One can only wonder how many more would be in operation if they had operated as professionals. I've said it here many times. I didn't join a fan club, I started a hobby and was willing to spend money on it. I expect the sellers to want me as a customer first, a fangirl second.

I've got to say, I purchased some classes earlier in the year and when I went to access them a month before a trip away to get ideas for a trip album, her site was down. And now we've been on our trip and I'm putting together the album still with no access. That'll be the last money I ever spend with her. A website, class/learning management system and store does *not* take that long to do - my work life used to revolve around that.

Wishing her luck, she's so talented. But frustrated about this, I had yet to download a file and had others I'd planned to buy-not to mention class access. I would have thought she has enough business to hire quality support. As this thread shows her lack of business planning will hurt her future income.

I am annoyed. Bradford is announcing a BIG sale on her Facebook page -- and we STILL don't have access to products purchased during her last sale in SEPTEMBER. I think her attention should be more an getting the site up than running a new sale!

I finally have some time this weekend to work on the tutorials I have purchased and the KBS site is not working. I have quickly read through these posts. Has her website really been down more than a month??? It is doesn't seem right to deny access to tutorials we have paid for and are supposed to have access to. Maybe the fancy KBS website is not complete yet, but surely there must be some simpler way to allow us to use the classes and tutorials we have already bought!! A couple of days maybe, in light of it being a small business, but not months!!! Prompt payment was expected for all of my classes!
