I think I am going to take the day off. Not because I am extremely worried about violence (although that is a concern) but because I don't want to deal with any bs that day, regardless of who wins. So, it will be a paperwork day. Is anyone else taking the day off? I'll be celebrating my 50th birthday and the fact that this damn election is finally over. Please, God, let it be over then. 😱😱😱😱😱😱🎂🎂🎂😱😱😱

Nope. This is not worth taking the day off for. I will just be glad the election is over. Time to heal from this ugly, ugly campaign.

Even though I'm a long way from the voting we will be celebrating our beautiful grand daughters second birthday!
Yah, lots of kiddie food, sticky fingers and probably a few tears - I can't wait.
My thoughts are with you all - your vote will not only affect USA but it could have world wide repercussions oh what a weight for you all to bear.

During the day I'll be at work setting up a Book Fair in my media center. We are having a mini-family reunion that day too and fortunately politics is not a hot button issue in my family. Like all good dysfunctional families, we avoid conflict.

Aptly, I am having a tooth fixed. I broke a small chip off and now I need a whole new filling! Plus it's the last day of my vacation.

I'll definitely be sleeping in. I'll be working at a polling site on the 8th, which means the day goes from 5am until probably 10pm.

I might actually watch live TV again since I won't have political commercials to fast forward through anymore.

I will just be happy it's over and I don't have to hear them bashing each other on commercials and hear about things being brought up from years ago! But I will go about my day as usual. I am not worried about anything crazy happening.
Just like when sporting events go into overtime, I will just be glad it's over regardless of who wins. There are things I like and dislike about both, so it's not like I think one is perfect and he or she may not win.

It will be work as usual for me. My workplace is mixed for politics, but everybody is cool about it and I don't anticipate any issues.
I've already booked lodging for the inauguration (I'm taking my daughter and meeting friends there), but once it's definite I can start making more detailed plans. Like what kind of "Nasty Woman" t-shirts we're going to wear. ;-)

At home in Florida with my wine and my large selection of assault rifles. Just kidding...I don't drink.
Okay, just kidding about that. I DO drink and I like it. We don't have any assault rifles or any other firearms, just two stupid dogs. I predict that something involving guns will happen in Florida that day, like every other day. It will probably also involve nudity, maybe some feces and even a wild animal because, Florida.

Nope. This is not worth taking the day off for. I will just be glad the election is over. Time to heal from this ugly, ugly campaign. I know that many people think the ugliness is Trump's fault, but sadly those Palin shirts, in the other thread, show it's not. I really don't think the ugliness will disappear for a while. And sadly each side will continue to blame the other for it, which won't help either.

Going about my day as I normally do. Same here. No matter what side of the fence you're on (And I didn't vote for either of them)... Believe it or not, we are all going to survive this.
