I'm going to breathe a sigh of relief. And be thankful I live where we will have a peaceful transistion, despite the crazies and the acrimony of this election.
It's time to remember that and stop giving those people power. They're like domestic terrorists causing us fear in our daily lives when there's no need. If we keep feeding them they will grow.

It'll be another day for us. School, work, love on my boys.

It's funny, I booked a private party at my craft studio for the evening of Nov. 8. I told the woman booking it that it was election day, and didn't she think folks would be staying home to watch results. She said, no, they all wanted to get away from it! Good choice, lady. We'll all be happily painting that night. I'm thinking about posting a sign that night that says "Cut & Paste is a Politics Free Zone." We're likely to be busy that whole day since its a day off from school. So probably on the 9th, I'll be recovering from a busy day.

Probably nursing a hangover. We vote early but election day is my husband's birthday and our wedding anniversary. I plan on celebrating with booze, good food and hot sex. I imagine that I'll be sleeping in on the 9th.

I will be hiking in Torres del Paine with my DH. Thankfully, there is no cell phone coverage in the park!

No idea but I just realized I have a mammogram schedule for Nov. 8. I wonder what will be more painful that day -- the mammo or voting results. In any case, I'll be off social media Nov. 8 and 9.

We didn't plan it this way but we'll be on a cruise. It will be interesting to see if we inundated with information or if I can actually stay away from the TV.

Going to school. Teaching first graders. Having an academic meet and hoping my kids win. The world won't stop no matter who wins.

Going to work. Our office doesn't talk a lot about politics, but we know where everyone stands. My admin assistant who has a gay son and always votes on social issues, and I (registered Republican, but apparently moving closer to Democrat) are the only ones voting Democrat; the 8 others are far right Republicans and voting Republican for the pro-life/Supreme Court Justice issue. So either way, it will be slightly odd and we will probably all just avoid the issue.

I always take election day and the next day off. I'll obsess on election day and then the next day I make a big pot of chili for supper and Netflix and snuggle the puppies and relax

Normal work day. Might feel sick if my candidate looses.

I will be working. We don't discuss politics at work for the most part. Except for my conspiracy theorist co-worker, but his comments are mostly hilarious.
