Ordering in pizza tonight!

Today another storm is coming and we have flash flood warnings. So since it will be cold and wet I am fixing vegetable soup and cranberry orange muffins! I am using chicken stock, green beans, baby yukon gold potatoes, carrots, and kale. All those need to be used up, so figured it was a good day to use them in soup!
Tomorrow if it is not raining the kiddos have an A.Skate event in San Clemente. Its a skateboard program for kids with Autism. But this time it is also a Halloween party!!!

Tonight is the going away party for our grandson who is going into the Army. His parents are having it catered from the same place we got some of the food for our wedding from...yummy Italian!

I'm hoping that the sad stuff going on will be resolved soon.

No rain here, but it still feels like fall out so I will be making veggie chili and corn bread muffins.

I am planning on making Breakfast for Dinner: German pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon and orange slices. I have to go run a couple of errands that will have me coming back home late so I wanted to make sure dinner didn't require too much effort. My backup plan is pizza. My backup plan's backup plan is Ramen. 😄

We had pizza last night! Well, they did. I opted for ravioli.

Tonight we may go out to eat, we will see what happens.
I have to think of something for our potluck at work on Monday. A "main" dish in a crock pot. I keep thinking little smokies because I have done meatballs the past 2 years. If anyone has a great idea, feel free to let me know.

It's Friday night, so it's pizza night. Whoop, whoop!

So you know how my mom left yesterday? Well, her train hit a car on the tracks just north of Atlanta last night. The occupants of the car ran for their lives, the engineer was able to slow down enough that the last few train cars didn't even realize there was an impact, and no one was injured as far as she could tell. They were delayed about 3 hours while everything got cleaned up, so while it was inconvenient, we're just thankful she and the other passengers are okay.

How's that for a memorable end to a great vacation?

Pizza sounds pretty good, but no, we are having loaded baked potatoes.
It's so warm here; I'm a bit jealous of the cold weather Peas at the moment.
The extended forcast shows us in the 80s all next week. That's very warm for us this time of year.
I just can't get excited about stews and soups yet.

I'm at a crop this weekend, so dinner tonight was pizza. The family probably had leftover lasagna.

Thanks. It didn't happen today and I fear that the longer the situation goes on the worse the repercussions will be. I'm having trouble keeping in the tears and have to put on a smile tonight.

I re-purposed the spaghetti sauce earlier this week into a caserole with cheese. So, a re-run on that tonight, I think. I'll be glad to clean the fridge Saturday!

I have to go to the grocery store after work! Boo! I hate shopping. DH is planning on grilling some burgers tonight. Probably some green beans and oven roasted potatoes.

BBQ chicken breast, baked potato and a chopped salad. I made homemade ranch dressing for the salad. Yum, yum.
