I always try to remember to wear blue. Today I had on a blue and white blazer and blue trouser jeans (I don't own a pantsuit, but it was pretty close). I had on a blue necklace, blue nails, and I have blue in my hair already. One woman in line looked me up and down and winked. I live in a blue state but a very red county. So either she thought I looked hot, or recognized my attempt at a pantsuit, lol. Anyway-did you wear something meaningful to you to vote today?

I usually wear red, white and blue on Election day, but I only have one red, white & blue sweater and I couldn't find it this morning

Typically I wear whatever I'm wearing to work. My work requires black & white. So no red or blue.

Clothes. They wouldn't let me in naked I did early voting last week and just went after work, so I had on jeans and a school spirit shirt.

My daughter and I wore white, a nod to suffragettes.

I'm wearing a white top and a cameo necklace, because it reminded me of the suffragettes.

My bottom half is in comfortable leggings and sneakers, because I expect to be in line for quite some time. I'm wearing a white shirt, though, as a little nod to the suffragettes.

I wore the shirt I'm wearing in my avatar. I thought it appropriate for the day.

Well, I'll be dropping off our ballots at the fire station, so when I get dressed in a bit, it will be jeans and some random shirt I pull out of my drawer. I'm waiting for the rush hour traffic to die down so there's not a long line at the drive-thru drop-off box. It's near a busy intersection and I don't want to get stuck in a long line of traffic trying to make the tight turn into the parking lot where the box is.

Sort of. I wear something work appropriate. Today I decided on a black pencil skirt, hot pink blouse, gray shawl and black dress boots. I realized that I wore the same boots last election! I like a power outfit to vote in apparently!

No, nothing special. Today it was a grey sweater because it is cold and cloudy!

I early voted, after a doctor appointment last week. I just had on a t-shirt and shorts, since I wasn't working.

I'm wearing mourning colors (black & gray). I'm not happy with my options and it's fits my mood for the top ticket. It's also work appropriate. 😂

No. I vote for the person, not the party. I don't need to wear white because I'm a woman. Showing up with my vagina is my tribute to women's suffrage. Also the biggest reason for not wearing something special is it is usually cold. My jacket is covering what I wear. By chance, my jacket today is red with a blue collar and an embroidered flag. So I guess I was being patriotic without trying.

I usually don't. I remembered the post about wearing white in honor of the women suffrage this morning and grabbed a white t shirt and wore my white fleece jacket. I don't think anyone there got it.
I did see some people wearing red or blue but didn't assume it was for party support. I figured most people just go in whatever they choose to wear that day.

Nothing special. I just wore jeans and a long sleeve top. Mistake. When I took the dogs out that morning, it was cool outside so I dressed warm. When I got there, I had to stand out in the sun. Not the best choice.

My group is wearing "special" outfits for this vote.
All the women will be wearing white pantsuits. We all have blue t-shirts to wear underneath the jacket that say "a woman's place is in the white house".
My sister, who's voting for the first time ever, has a t-shirt that says "my first vote ever and #I'mwithher".
As for the men...they're all wearing black jeans and t-shirts. The vets have shirts that say "veterans proudly for Hillary" and the non-vets say "I'm man enough to vote for a woman" and have a silhouette of Hillary.

I hope you guys don't get kicked out for wearing political clothes. Here in MI, NO political shirts/clothes/pins/hats are allowed. If you are wearing anything that has a party or candidate on it, they will ask you to come back after you changed or removed the item in question.

I don't wear anything special to vote. But then again, I really never theme dress for any occasion. I don't even own a single garment with a sports team on it -- not even the high school where all my sons played sports.

Most states have laws against campaigning at the poll location. You can absolutely be denied entry for violating.

Is there a way to rescind your vote by a certain date like some states allow? I guess my reservations with all mail in voting is how quickly things can change; especially with this election! I was glad I didn't vote early after learning a person running for office in my state said they were now voting for Trump after saying he could not in good conscience do so.

However I know when I voted in the last election there were people in Obama shirts and nothing was said. Also my neighbor voted today wearing a jacket that she put a Johnson sticker on and she was able to vote. If they say anything we'll take our picture (outside). Those of us who can will simply cover our shirts with jackets and the others will change and vote. ETA: You guys had me curious. So I looked it up and actually in my state you can wear clothing/pins/hats etc supporting a candidate to vote. You just can't engage in campaigning. vote Hope that works, I'm not sure how to link here. Anyway we're not going until 3pm so I'll let you know if we had to change etc

Normally no but today when I went to the closet to pull on a sweater I chose a sweater jacket with lapels. No where near a pants suit but it'll have to do. Not even sure why but after reading all the public pantsuit nation posts and the pantsuit bashers I was inspired.
From what I read all of the pantsuit nation posts were positive, I'm doing this for me, this is why I'm with her happy type, inspiring posts (and that's what is public because I'm not in the group ) the worst, if you could even call it bad, they posted negatively was #never trump and all the anti pantsuit nation posts were very nasty, personal, bashing posts against not only Hillary but against people. People all over like you and me. I'm done with the negativity. I think just wanted to put on a positive vibe to go vote. It ended up being too hot for the damn sweater but I didn't take it off, sort of my symbolic statement.
Are you sorry you asked and got long winded reply?!lol
