I wore my normal black pants, a black t shirt--nod to mourning--and a white shirt--nod to the suffragettes. I also wore a bracelet of my mother's because she would be thrilled to get to vote for a woman. I wish I could be excited enough to wear something more outspoken, but I'm not excited about any of this, other than it being over.

If you had mail-in balloting, you could vote naked. I voted in my pj's with a glass of wine. I love Oregon What's the last day you can mail in your vote? Is there a way to rescind your vote by a certain date like some states allow? I guess my reservations with all mail in voting is how quickly things can change; especially with this election! I was glad I didn't vote early after learning a person running for office in my state said they were now voting for Trump after saying he could not in good conscience do so. Latest for mailing is 7 days before the election so, October 31st would have been the last mail in day. We also have designated ballot drop boxes - 20 in our county, and we can also take them directly into any county office. We can follow our ballot online so we know when they receive them and if it's been counted yet. If our ballot arrives damaged, or we make a mistake, spill something, lose the ballot, or for have any other problem with it, we contact our county elections office for a replacement ballot. Since we get the ballot a couple of weeks before the election, we have plenty of time to deal with any issues. I dropped my ballot off in a box on Saturday. The website confirms it has already been received by the state.

Well I have gone naked in the past but this year I thought I would just add a neon pink boa and kitten heels.

I'm wearing a white jacket over a blue pants outfit...and some pearls!
Edited to add: and several of the poll workers were all wearing red, mostly sweaters, it is sunny and warm today so not a coincidence I think!

No, it never occurred to me to wear anything special to vote. I am a sahm to 3 very messy teen girls, so I am always in my "cleaning" outfit as that's what I do all day! It's beautiful out today (Pgh. is having the nicest fall weather in the 20 yrs. I have lived here), so I will wear my shorts and my University of Maryland t-shirt - Go Terps! It's red, so patriotic? Love your picture!

LOL! I didn't even think of wearing anything special today! I'm wearing a red shirt & blue jeans. Now I want to wear a white scarf so I can be all red, white & blue today!

No. I vote for the person, not the party. I don't need to wear white because I'm a woman. Showing up with my vagina is my tribute to women's suffrage. exactly! My group is wearing "special" outfits for this vote. All the women will be wearing white pantsuits. We all have blue t-shirts to wear underneath the jacket that say "a woman's place is in the white house". My sister, who's voting for the first time ever, has a t-shirt that says "my first vote ever and #I'mwithher". As for the men...they're all wearing black jeans and t-shirts. The vets have shirts that say "veterans proudly for Hillary" and the non-vets say "I'm man enough to vote for a woman" and have a silhouette of Hillary. you'd be turned away from the polls in missouri gina

i had a friend wear a candidates shirt...she had to turn it inside out before they allowed her in the polling place
you can not enter a polling station - in missouri - wearing or holding anything that supports a candidate/party
it's meant so there is no voter intimidation
and it's a really good restriction

In the state of Pa (where I live) you're allowed to wear clothing supporting a specific candidate. I provided a link earlier in the thread. :-)

It's interesting to see how different voting laws are around the country. I personally want my state to be like OR and go to mail in ballots. I would love to vote in my pjs (although I have to admit I have seen women voting in pjs down at the Legion Hall before. ) I guess I wore my white dress on the wrong day. I wore it Sunday. Today I'm in grey and I probably won't change before I go vote.

I never wear anything in particular to vote, just whatever I have on that day. But today I put on a white shirt and white sweater, both of which were surprisingly not in the laundry. At the voting place the gal handing out the sample Democratic ballots was wearing white, as were several of the people working inside. I saw my first Trump sign in this town, outside the polling place along with Clinton signs and all the other local stuff. Trump will get about .1% of the vote here. lol. -- As I was parking I saw an elderly woman being helped into the building. She had on a white suit. To wear that white suit probably went against everything her mother taught her about "no white after Labor Day", but obviously she felt voting for the first woman president took priority over the Labor Day "law". lol

I don't but I have the same zip sweater as Ken Bone, I think I'll wear it to dinner with my I voted sticker. I am hoping to get an "I taco'd" sticker at Rubio's tonight :-)

One woman in line looked me up and down and winked. I live in a blue state but a very red county. So either she thought I looked hot, or recognized my attempt at a pantsuit, lol. LOL, I reckon she just thought you looked hot!! Love your neck piece, it's gorgeous.

I didn't even think about it when I got dressed this AM, and now I realize I wore the color of the party I do not support. Oops. This title immediately made me think of a recent episode of Black-ish where the Grandma explained that you have to carefully plan your outfit before voting because one year she wore kitten heels, tripped, and accidentally pulled the lever for the wrong candidate.
