Do you wear anything special to go vote?

Typically I wear whatever I'm wearing to work. My work requires black & white. So no red or blue.

My Zumba clothes because I have Zumba at the place I vote.

I'm wearing a white top and a cameo necklace, because it reminded me of the suffragettes.

My bottom half is in comfortable leggings and sneakers, because I expect to be in line for quite some time. I'm wearing a white shirt, though, as a little nod to the suffragettes.

Well, I'll be dropping off our ballots at the fire station, so when I get dressed in a bit, it will be jeans and some random shirt I pull out of my drawer. I'm waiting for the rush hour traffic to die down so there's not a long line at the drive-thru drop-off box. It's near a busy intersection and I don't want to get stuck in a long line of traffic trying to make the tight turn into the parking lot where the box is.

No, nothing special. Today it was a grey sweater because it is cold and cloudy!

I just wore a red/white/blue printed button down casual shirt.

I'm wearing mourning colors (black & gray). I'm not happy with my options and it's fits my mood for the top ticket. It's also work appropriate. 😂

I usually don't. I remembered the post about wearing white in honor of the women suffrage this morning and grabbed a white t shirt and wore my white fleece jacket. I don't think anyone there got it.

I did see some people wearing red or blue but didn't assume it was for party support. I figured most people just go in whatever they choose to wear that day.

My group is wearing "special" outfits for this vote.

All the women will be wearing white pantsuits. We all have blue t-shirts to wear underneath the jacket that say "a woman's place is in the white house".

My sister, who's voting for the first time ever, has a t-shirt that says "my first vote ever and #I'mwithher".

As for the men...they're all wearing black jeans and t-shirts. The vets have shirts that say "veterans proudly for Hillary" and the non-vets say "I'm man enough to vote for a woman" and have a silhouette of Hillary.

If you had mail-in balloting, you could vote naked.

I feel your pain.  I'm wearing all black today...feels very appropriate.
 

What's the last day you can mail in your vote? Is there a way to rescind your vote by a certain date like some states allow? I guess my reservations with all mail in voting is how quickly things can change; especially with this election! I was glad I didn't vote early after learning a person running for office in my state said they were now voting for Trump after saying he could not in good conscience do so.

Normally no but today when I went to the closet to pull on a sweater I chose a sweater jacket with lapels. No where near a pants suit but it'll have to do. Not even sure why but after reading all the public pantsuit nation posts and the pantsuit bashers I was inspired.

From what I read all of the pantsuit nation posts were positive, I'm doing this for me, this is why I'm with her happy type, inspiring posts (and that's what is public because I'm not in the group ) the worst, if you could even call it bad, they posted negatively was #never trump and all the anti pantsuit nation posts were very nasty, personal, bashing posts against not only Hillary but against people. People all over like you and me. I'm done with the negativity. I think just wanted to put on a positive vibe to go vote. It ended up being too hot for the damn sweater but I didn't take it off, sort of my symbolic statement.
