What have you gotten so far... Me a 55" TV for hubby. Chromebook for youngest. Headphones, mini speaker, leggings & chargers A bunch of stuff from Michaels. Some movies & a blanket from Target. The lines were not bad, the employees and cus tomes were great....always going to have exceptions...but it was fun. The best thing was the pick up from Wally world for the tv. You got a braclet, paid then drove to TLE and they loaded the tv right into your car.
Anyone heading out today? Bath and body, home depot, sears, joanns, 3 of my favorite thrift stores, some shoe stores and lunch with my darling husband. What about y'all?

It is 35 degrees, raining, and from what I've heard on the news the mall is packed. I have opened an early Christmas present to myself (Nespresso) and am in my flannel pj's, snuggled up on the couch with my puppy, a toasted bagel, and a latte. All of my shopping is done and there is 1 more delivery next week from Kohl's. Everything else is bought and wrapped including the toys for tots and angel tree at church donations. The puppy is 8 months old and outgrew his sweater, but I knit so am going to stay inside where it is warm and cozy and work on a new one for him today. This is the first Black Friday I have not been running from store to store and as much as I love shopping, it is so much nicer to be home.

The only things I got last night were for myself!!! I replaced my Hobbit movies. My 1st set were loaned out to someone who will not return them so I just got new ones. I got towels and a gel mat for the kitchen sink. I hand wash my dishes and thought the gel mat might be easier on the old back. I'm waiting on the cyber Monday thread to get started. That's where I like to do most of my shopping.

We haven't gone out yet. I did get some Clinique mascaras, perfume sets and philosophy body washes from Belk online. My middle dd works retail so she's busy all weekend. My oldest dd has to travel for thanksgiving with the in- laws. My youngest has a hematology clinic appt this AM but hates to shop anyways. So I'll have to go solo.

I went to target last night for an Xbox One bundle (the system, a controller, and a game) for under $200. I was super excited that I got one.
Then kids clothes were 45% off so I got everyone pjs, Minecraft hoodies, and lots of Star Wars gear.
It was very fun, everyone was nice, and the store and lines were extremely well organized and moved quickly. I had such a good time.
I ran into a friend and she wanted to go to Michael's. I ended up getting a few Christmas decorations because things were 50-70% off plus an extra 30% off your whole purchase. She also wanted to go to BBW, but I didn't buy anything there.

I need to go out and buy a new Christmas tree. I got rid of the ones I have been using and now I'm looking for a tall skinny tree.

We're just heading out now. Going to Fred Meyer for 50% off socks and B1G1 board games. Went to Kohls last night about 10 and, among other things, got DH some khakis for work. They were on sale for $14.99 and a couple of them rang up for $4.99! Very happy about that.

Girls went to Aeropostale where everything was 70%off and they got a few things. JCPenney- DH flannel shirts and DD2 graphic t's. Macy's- blankets and slippers-cute little ballet slippers with a pompom for DD's. and perfume for SIL Sneakers at Dick's for DD2 Michael's- just a couple small things. The $10 pack of washi's were not on sale. I did get a planner though. Then DH and DD1 spent the night in line at Nebraska Furniture to get Apple watches on sale for $99. They are so excited!
I also shopped online Wednesday for a computer for DD1 and camcorder for DD2. We are done!! Well except all the SB shopping I've done online.

I left my house at 6. Finished by 10. I got everything I set out to get.
It didn't start to get packed until I was heading out. I'm on my couch now trying to peel myself up and do something crafty. I need to use the million paints I got from Joann and start working on my Christmas village.

Got the 9.99 planners from Michael's. When I came in at 8am this morning, they were passing out free $10 gift cards, so happy about that. Also bought some socks, a hat, tons of Bath and Body products and the cute rose gold bag. Got some great fragrance deals at Macy's.
I still need to buy some gifts for others...

Monday I ordered blankets for the boys' beds, a couple shirts/bras/boots for me, a couple towels and PJs for everyone from Kohls.
Last night I went to WM and got: 10" Windows Tablet for me (long story why I needed that one), HP touch laptop for ds, 1500 Legos for me to step on yds. It was busy but not terrible. Got there a little after 5, got my wristband for the laptop, looked freaking forever for the tablet, asked no less than 5 employees and several other shoppers, finally found it, third in chaotic line for one. Grabbed the Legos on the way to claim the laptop, checked out and back to my car by 6:20 (sale started at 6).
Came home and ordered jeans and khakis for ds and I from american eagle.
This morning I met up with my sister and her SIL at 4am for our annual BF shopping spree. Got video games and a controller. Some Legos, Lego Dimensions, Shopkins for niece, sheets for us, toaster, comforter for ds, several movies, probably other random crap I forgot about and back home by 11-ish. Stores were dead until about 8, then they were only about as busy as any other weekend.
Came home and ordered the one video game I couldn't find and the xBox headset I forgot about.

I ended up getting my DH jeans at Bass Pro ($10 ever Black Friday) usually $30. I bought myself a pair to see if I like them.
I bought a small TV for my bedroom. I still have a 25 inch huge box in there..lol. It keeps on ticking but sick of it. Only $85 at Target.
3 movies
At Kohls, boots and moccasins for DD who is 20. And an outfit for 8 yrs old DD.
Online I bought a couple of those blankets, a heated blanket and leggings for 20 year old DD.
I think I am done for a bit... well, my wallet is.

I also bought a sweatshirt at Dicks and Ugg shoes on Zulilly this morning. All I need are movie tickets for my nephews and nieces, new shoes for my husband and I'm done shopping.

That was the worst part of our WM trip was the new way of handing out big ticket items. DH waiting in line in the car for hours just to get it loaded up. If they were going to do the whole outside hand out thing they should have set up stations areas outside of each big ticket item so people could drive to their station and not have everyone wait in the same long like for all the items.

We are NOT Black Friday shoppers although back in the day my sister, mom and I were HUGE day-after-Christmas shoppers. However, with DS moving into his townhouse in January he needs everything except dishes. So we hit Macy's and bought: A vacuum A set of pots and pans A set of knives, shears & steak knives with the butcher block At Ace Hardware: A hand-carry tool chest that DH will load up with some of his tools since he inherited his dads when FIL passed away During December we will add to the list.

Today has been a bit of a bust for me. Stopped at 4 stores, but only bought cat litter. Everything else I was looking for was either sold out or not worth standing in the long line to check out.

Today has been a bit of a bust for me. Stopped at 4 stores, but only bought cat litter. Everything else I was looking for was either sold out or not worth standing in the long line to check out. We bought cat litter at Fleet Farm. It was the only bad line of the day, about 30-45 minutes. But the litter was regular $5.36, on sale 2/$5 so we were fine with waiting in line. We got there shortly before the store opened, and DH and I each bought 6 bags, then we went back 4 hours later and bought 8 more bags. In those 4 hours, they had not managed to properly control their lines, and the wait was longer than it was on our first trip. I was very proud of DH for waiting patiently, normally he fumes at delays. We also bought a bunch of canned cat food at Petsmart that didn't ring up properly, but that was the only other problem of the day. My best deal was at Kohls. I placed an online order yesterday, but we stopped this morning to look around. I had the $10 off in store only coupon, 15% off coupon and a $7 reward they had emailed me for having a Kohl's card. I bought a bath towel, a laser pointer toy for the cats, and a Christmas ornament and paid $2.42. The best part was, there was ZERO line. I walked up to pay, thought oh wow, I'm 3rd in line, and it turned out that the other 2 women were just standing there chatting. No wait at all.

Nope. None for us. We don't have kids, so don't need a lot of big gifts. Everything we saw, we wanted for ourselves, but didn't need, so no need to get out with the "crazies". ETA: We did make one stop...Old Navy. I needed one t-shirt that I saw on Wed., and wish I had gotten then. The line was all the way to the back, and wrapped around. No thanks!

I did all my shopping online. I got 2 Dell doorbusters- a $99 laptop last eve and a $199 laptop this morning. I got a kindle for my aunt, quite a few things on amazon and I got a wireless printer for myself from Best Buy. I got 4 Coach card hlders for $15 each and I'll put gift cards in them.
Today my mom and I went to a thrift store and I scored a cute pedestal table I have been wanting for years for my breakfast area and paid $45. I put my old kitchen table on facebook for free and my cousin grabbed it.

I've done Black Friday shopping with DD every year (pretty sure) since she was born.
She's 23 now.
The best bargains were at The Limited. DD got several work-type outfits as she is graduating college in a few weeks and needs work clothes.
They had 70% off everything (I think a few exclusions but nothing she was interested in).
Then they allowed her to use her college I.D. discount for another 10% off.
So she got 80% off! Either there is a giant markup (yes) or they didn't make much money on her.
I know that they always have sales, usually 40%-60% but she got a pile of nice clothes for a really good price.

I went on a clothing re-stock. I got over a grand of clothes for about 175.00. I love Thrift stores and being able to stack discounts... I got 5 scarfs 3 boots 3 sweaters jackets 1 Peacoat 5 tank tops 11 sweaters 9 long sleeve shirts 3 short sleeves 2 pants 2 necklaces 5 pairs of glove Ralph lauren, polo, gap, old navy, forever 21, charoltee Russe and etc...
Then I felt I needed some new sleepwear and panties...Marshalls Score 3 sleep pants 12 panties $32.00 love clearance. Got hubby his drill, drill set and a shop vac. Along with a new step ladder and several stereo lightbulbs....love these.
Bath and body works...wallflowers & some lotion. Candles...next week.
The best thing was EVERYONE WAS NICE. Total strangers laughing and talking, being polite and wishing everyone happy holidays. Most stores were handing out coffee and doughnuts. It was wonderful to see and have some fun.

Dd and I headed out about 8:00. We went to Fred Meyer for half price socks, half price gloves and a pair of slippers. Then we hit office depot for flash drives for $5.99 for stocking stuffers. Also picked up some prisma pencils for $10 to go with my nieces coloring books. Then we grabbed breakfast and spent four hours watching dog agility and visiting with friends. All in all a very nice day, except I got socks for dh, ds, both dds, dd's boyfriend and my sisters boyfriend. Too bad I got distracted and forgot to get socks for myself

I quit going out to the BF sales about 10 years ago. Once the craziness took hold, it just wasn't fun for me any longer. Now I just shop online and watch for the sales between now and Christmas. Since I don't work I can go during the week when it is less crowded. Did do a little shopping online this afternoon. Bought a DNA kit from Ancestry for DD. They had them on sale for $69.99, plus 7.5% back from ebates. Then I bought myself an ArtBin to store my machine embroidery thread cones and a bunch of dog food/treats. Overall, nothing very exciting. I'm sitting here now trying to decide if I really need a FoodSaver or not. They have some good prices at their website.

I have shopped from home and haven't even changed out of my pj's!
I thought I'd go out, but the deals on clothing for my kids just wasn't enough to give me that motivation and that's the only thing I was thinking of going out for.
Maybe I'll get out tomorrow. Maybe not.

Wow @leowife you got a lot of big items! Sounds like a good haul. I was looking for Beats for my oldest two sons and struck out. Will keep looking. I got a camera for myself. We bought a new washer and dryer the other day. Does that count? Lol A bunch of games for the kids from target. An Eno hammock for DS and some other odds and ends for the other kids. New stockings and some other decor from Kohl's. This summer we found baby mice in the bag where the tree stand, stockings and tree skirt. I had been wanting new stockings but they are expensive especially when you need six. I got a good deal, although between the stockings, tree stand and skirt I spent a lot. We got our Christmas tree and I have started decorating.
