Sharing my stashed DD mini kit I'll be using this year. I might switch a few things up or add as I go but this is definitely the basis: - a few 3x4 filler cards selected from recent Studio Calico Documenter kits in white, gold foil and dark grey/black - my Midori TN passport size to keep notes and jot little things down during the month to look back at when scrapping - a 4x6 sheet of small sentiment stickers - a few gold foil die-cuts - chipboard star stickers (gold foil and gold glitter) - patch Missing in photo action are the two Kelly Purkey Christmas stamp sets. But you get the gist. I just want to reach out to those who feel intimidated by doing DD for one reason or another. You don't need a separate album, a cushy budget, a lot of pictures, a big stash to choose from (and children or grandchildren, a spouse, a full social calendar, etc.) to be able to join and do your own recipe of DD. And the result of the combination of your style, product at your disposition, photos and memories will not be lesser because you're using/have less. Join us! I love what you pulled together! I agree. No rules! Last year I did a combination of 12x12's and divided page protectors added to a Christmas through the years album. 2013 I used a 12x12 for my December Daily. It was an important year for my family (I was alive and bald!) and I wanted to remember everything. This year I'm using a 6x8 and I'm pretty sure there won't be anything DAILY about it. Anything goes!

So glad you've pulled through and are here for another DD project. And plenty more to come! If DD should be anything, it's a reminder to be present in the moment and to take in everything before it passes and slips into the past.

Ugh it's Dec 2nd here already and I'm already behind! Good thing I took some pics last week of decorations etc. have been in court all week and working late in the evenings to get other things done - and I have another 4 day hearing next week.
At least I hope to catch up with journaling and printing over the weekend!

Completely totally awesome!!!! Love everything about it. Since I was grocery shopping yesterday, I got the idea to focus on the foods that signify the holiday season to me. Like cranberry Thomas' English muffins and Poms and Cuties and dark chocolate peppermint pretzels. And the bowl of mixed nuts and nutcracker that my Mom always had. Pictures all taken but not yet printed. I have the double page TN layout all laid out in my head. Will do the journalling this afternoon and print that out. Hopefully assemble over the weekend. Title: Oh Christmas Treats!

My physical December Daily is still in the process of being assembled, and I have yet to print out any photos, but I'm pretty pleased with the photo editing I've managed to do thus far: imgur.com/9Kf6BzFimgur.com/YLpV1POThese are great! I love that you made a collage with all the office pictures. I may try that for days where I have too many pictures...great idea!

I did some journaling and photo printing for days 1-3 last night so feel so much better about my DD album! Today's page will be about the Omaha Beach Half marathon which is what I'm doing this morning. I'll post so pics later when it's light enough to take some photos of everything.

I am trying a different approach this year since my last 2 DD projects aren't complete. Like some of the previous posters mentioned, I plan to do a December memories mini album instead of a daily one. Am trying a similar style to my 30 Days of Thankfullness( which I have not done daily so don't know why I was so hung up on the daily part of the December album?)
I have a 6 x6 red WRMK album, paper pad and a couple of embellishments from MME's Comfort And Joy line. I also bought the star stamp set from Ali. Here's hoping this year will result in a completed album!

You girls are doing great! I love-love-love what I've seen so far. And I'm just so happy I didn't go down the proper December Daily route because I'd most certainly already be three days behind. And as we went out late this evening, I definitely couldn't manage to do any scrapping after getting home (it's almost 4AM ). And then we'll sleep in tomorrow before going for Sunday family lunch. And nap. And... and... then I'll still be too tired and busy ironing the clothes for next week so couldn't squeeze in any scrapping either. Oops!

I have spent the weekend working on my December Daily.
So far, I have:
---got my cover sheet done ---intentions page done ---made a 'band' to put around my album ---days 1-3 are printed, decorated and ready for me to journal on today morning
Pretty good progress, if I say so myself.

I've been taking daily photos so far and using my photo log book from last year to jot down stories.
I have the week between Christmas and New Year's Day off, so I figure I will actually put my album together then. It's a combination of this years AE, Pam Garrison and last years Kelly Purkey.

I've got my photos selected & edited for all four days, but I need to narrow it down as I've still got too many for each day's story. Haven't done my intentions or cover page since I'm still waiting for my KP kits to arrive. The post office sent them back to the US as "undeliverable" and three weeks later, they're back en route to me. Needless to say, they're travelling more this holiday season than I will be. I am combining them with last year's KP mini and this year's Pink Paislee's so I may break into those for the first few days just to get something done.
Is anyone using the Epson Picturemate? I'm finding that my photos are kind of muddy looking. I've tried printing from both my phone and laptop, but the results are still the same.

icequeen Let me note bore you (again) with the story about the EpsonMate not being sold here, etc. I would check if the pictures are sized to the format you wish to print (like 4x6) to make sure that your printer doesn't need to automatically resize them (which could lead to a loss in image quality). I am definitely on the DD naughty list. So far, all I have done is embellished 3 3x4 cards. Some gold foil chipboard stars, alpha stickers and stamps, and I'm done. I must have been the worst kid in kindergarten when it comes to collages. *5 minutes of work* "DONE!"

You all are motivating me much! Thanks for sharing everyone. We had to travel this past weekend and then DH had a colonoscopy yesterday (of course that's going in) so I haven't been able to sit at my desk for one minute since Dec 1 and it's killing me! I have been taking photos and jotting down stories so it's just a matter of getting time. We are just getting our decorations out to put up now. I think we are the last in our neighborhood to get our lights out. We just realized every other house has white lights so we'll stand out like a sore thumb with our big colored bulbs. I wish I could get a picture from above by a drone - that would be a great 6 x 8!

THEY'RE HERE!!!! A little excited that my KP kits all finally arrived. Can't wait to mix it all up and get a few spreads done. On a side note, my grab bags from her BF sale arrived too and they're awesome. Nice assortment (clearly not crappy leftovers) plus a few label cut aparts. kellypurkey , you're running a class act, I tell ya! Thanks!

I am picking up photos from day 1-5 today, and I have been keeping a brief journal for each day. I hope to get those pages done later today. I am still on the fence about whether to use page divided page protectors. I have never used them before, (always been a full page scrapped, mostly 12 by 12) but I bought a bunch for another project that I never did, so I have them. Any comments or suggestions about using them?

Any comments or suggestions about using them? I love using pockets for Dec Daily. My suggestion is to just play around with them and see what you like or even maybe copy someone else's work that you love the first time. Not copy it item for item but find a page that you like and then use what you have to recreate it.

I've got all of my photos printed so far but I still don't know what size album to do. I originally wanted to go a 4x6 but I really do not have the space to keep accumulating albums. I would like to add to my 6x8 album from last year but I don't have a lot of space left. I wish I could get an SC sized mini album but from WRMK.
At least I've got all my supplies ready. I didn't buy any kits except a few bits and pieces from Pinkfresh Studios this year.
