A friend living in Canada surprised me with a lovely calendar last year (previously we'd decided we wouldn't exchange Christmas gifts...not sure what made her buck the trend but not complaining!) so I want to send her something but I'm struggling for ideas.
What lightweight gifts do you send abroad?

A nice (winter) scarf? Some are more lightweight than others, I suppose.

What lightweight gifts do you send abroad? I can't remember where you live, but is your county 'known' for something? Preferably something tat doesn't weigh much!! Mine used to be known for lace, so that was nice and light to send! Chocolate weighs too much to send overseas, although it's a nice idea. Does your friend have any particular interests or hobbies or a 'style' of dressing??

Order some delicious Cadbury chocolate from Amazon.ca. The chocolate is wonderful and the shipping will be within Canada.

One of my favorite things to buy as a souvenir when traveling are reusable shopping bags or canvas totes. I would look at bags from iconic British museums, department stores or designer stores that don't have shops in Canada. The Tate, Victoria & Albert, Harrod's, Liberty London and Cath Kidson are the first to come to mind.

I now realise that I left out the rather pertinent info that my friend is English 😊
She doesn't really need souvenirs of England but they might bring back happy memories of home!
Is Cadburys' chocolate in Canada the same as UK Cadburys?
I like the scarf idea....Canadian winters can be cold can't they!
