So many to choose from, it's really hard. If I have to pick one, I'll go with Dead Poet's Society. It really resonated me when it came out.

For me it's a tie between Good Morning Vietnam and Dead Poets Society.
He will be missed.

I liked when he got into thrillers and played dark characters - Insomnia, One Hour Photo, The Night Listener
It's been so long since I've seen his old ones but I do remember liking The Birdcage and Mrs. Doubtfire.

One Hour Photo was great but super creepy.
Need to watch Good Will Hunting and Dead Poets again........and Good Morning, Vietnam.
I'm sure they'll be hard to find on Netflix for a while...........

ETA - yep.......both Dead Poets and Good Will Hunting are 'a very long wait'..........but I put them at the top of my queue anyway............

Death to Smoochy. It's dark, cynical, and full of flat out wrongness. But so damn funny that I laugh to the point of tears over some scenes.

Hands down: "The Birdcage!"
"You do Fosse, Fosse, Fosse! You do Martha Graham, Martha Graham, Martha Graham! Or Twyla, Twyla Twyla! Or Michael Kidd, Michael Kidd, Michael Kidd, Michael Kidd! Or Madonna, Madonna, Madonna! But you keep it all inside."
My all time favorite scene because he was so animated.

Oh, I forgot to add, this isn't a movie, but he appeared in an early episode of "Homicide-Life on the Streets" as the husband whose wife was murdered when the family was visiting Baltimore--he was great in that and was nominated for an Emmy for it.
Also, a young Jake Gyllenhaal played his son in that episode.

Even though it's just his voice, his performance is amazing in Aladdin. Can you think of any other animated character that embodies an actor as much as the Genie does of Robin Williams? This was my thought, exactly. I've loved so many of his movies. And how he would randomly pop up on TV. Remember his guest appearance on Friends?
