I'm super excited to get it. I added a few extra goodies. I wasn't quick enough and missed out on the Month to Month stamp set. Hoping to get it next month.
To those that have purchased kits in the past, do you use them mostly for project life? Or layouts, too?

To those that have purchased kits in the past, do you use them mostly for project life? Or layouts, too? Congrats!! I don't waivered for a while but ended up signing up starting in September. I feel like the kit offers an aesthetic you can't get anywhere else! I only use it for PL as it's cards, but you could use the stamps and flair in layouts! They also send digitals you could blow up to larger sheets nd print your own.

Congratulations! KP's kits are amazing! Her cards are super high quality, you won't be disappointed. I mostly do PL, DD, and WITL and use them for those projects. Or hoard them, I do that too. My desk stamps are actually organized in separate groups: KP stamps, FYC/Brandi Kincaid stamps, and all others. Enjoy!!

I have been on the fence for awhile. I just wish there was more variety in her alpha's. The quality, letter, distribution, and quantity are great... I just don't love the font enough to get the same one every time. Not a huge flair lover in general; it would be fun if she had a few rotating embellishment types that would be in kits to mix it up and give some more variety. I like the aesthetic and her card quality is top notch but I just haven't been able to commit yet.

I feel you on the lack of embellishments BUT I look at it this way: I won't get anything I don't like (hello, unicorn paper clip...?) and I have an excuse to shop for coordinating embellies! It would be cool, though, if she had a program with Simon says stamp or another store with suggested coordinating embellishments!

I think her kits are a great way to get new things while still shopping you stash (since most of us have huge ones accrued over long periods of time it usually isn't that difficult). I'm still tempted, but I can't kill what I already get every month (not counting my regular shopping, just subs) and my stamp hoard has grown so much that I just don't feel like I should at the moment. If I was an avid stamper, totally...but I tend to collect them more than anything. I love her kits, though...I drool at them nearly every month and was crushed when I missed the grab bags of cards on BF (the sale went live as soon as the madness at Walmart started and 9 minutes later when I could check my phone, almost everything had sold out and shipping wouldn't have been worth the few things left).

I love her kits! I've been subscribing since October & have yet to be disappointed. I like the fact that the cards are basic enough that I can personalize them the way that I would like. The only thing I wish is that she had a community where people could share layouts, ideas, etc. Like a Facebook group or something.

I've been subscribing since last year. I love it. I use some of the cards on greeting cards. I haven't made a layout in a long time but I can definitely see the cards and stamps working for you.
A great subscriber perk is getting a pdf of the cards every month.

I won't pull the trigger on a sub, but i've bought 3 kits since last summer just to get the stamp.

Another happy subscriber here. Love the card quality and variety. The stamps are my style and I find that the kit stamps are always reusable. The more thematic stamps and items are sold separately or in mini kits which is appreciated when you're in a committed subbing relationship.
I agree with the lack of embellies, but I'd rather a consistent two flairs each month than whatever random embellishment a company decides to throw in that I may throw out. Another bonus is an alpha per month that has multiple letters. You can actually make several titles easily and have letters to spare. I'm willing to shop my stash for paper or a variety of embellishments if 99% of my kit is high quality and readily useable on any spread versus having to shop my stash because half a kit is fugly.

ellewood I hear you on the random embellishments.... as I hang my head and admit that I used the pink unicorn paper clip. But in my defense- I did throw a rainbows & unicorns first birthday party for DD this summer and needed something to make a tab with in a fold out spread from it.

Communities can be great, but can become overwhelming for small business owners. Don't know if KP has a non-scrap related job IRL, but she seems incredibly busy. With her travels and such, I'd rather her continue focusing on designing new products that are on point versus stretching herself thin. Worse yet, she could outsource and risk watching her brand and quality go downhill. *coughAEcough* #stayawayInked
Personally, I'd rather see her & the DT releasing regular videos throughout the month than relying on random people posting. They've been chosen for a reason, let's make better/more consistent use of them each month. Maybe I'm jaded from having been a part of the PTI and SC boards, but a community like this that's not managed by a company tends to be more objective IMHO.

I, for one, would be sad if it was a FB group because FB is the devil. I do wish she had at least a monthly blog post to round up her IG examples from her CT. I can imagine running a FB group or MB would be a nightmare, but I wonder what it would take to set one up for her?

I also have to say that KP's customer service is stellar. I've had a couple of issues (totally on my end) and Diane K. responded right away and always resolved my issue quickly or provided the assistance needed - with no run around or hassle. I can't recommend them enough! I certainly feel like a valued customer in my interactions.

Now that the boards make it super easy to post instagrams, we can start a monthly thread and post them as we see them and/or (pretty please?!) talk about what embellishments would go! I volunteer to start the December kit thread!

There are still a few sets of $5 stamp sets on her site, if you click on the link to just "stamps" it pulls up 6 pages to go through. Her latest book set is marked down to $10 too.

I have been on the fence at subbing for awhile, but I've picked up a few kits at black Friday and picked up the most recent December kit.
I love that the cards are high quality (this is one of the main reasons I'm looking for a replacement for SC, their quality has gone downhill from the best there was to complete crap) and the stamps are always great. The cards are hit or miss for me though--while I like a lot of the styles & colors, sometimes the phrases don't fit my life & some of the patterns get very repetitive. I love KP's style and her projects inspire me, so I'd be happy to support her brand, but there are just a few negative things that are keeping me from subbing--
I hate that it comes with flare each month, I don't use flare, so these just pile up. I would prefer if it came with additional embellishments, but like someone else already mentioned, I already have quite a stash so I'm fine with just cards + stamp + alpha... but I don't need the flare, so this is a waste for me + I don't like the idea of committing when I KNOW there is something in the kit every month I will never use.
I also hate the lack of organization around inspiration. I love the idea of a community, but there are so many smaller things she could do--a monthly blog post would be ideal, but even if she just had a list with links to her design team on her blog... why is it so secretive who they are?
I hate that there is no archive of previous kits on her website, I would like to be able to see photos of the last year's worth of reveals even if you can't buy them (most kit clubs have this available) to get an idea of the aesthetic to make sure it works for me. I've been stalking her shop for a couple of months, but I just hate that I have to do this to get an idea of what I will get... it really bothers me that it isn't more forthcoming. Just bad marketing IMO.
I also am not a fan of the reveal date... that the December kit comes so late in the month? For example, this kit has so many awesome cards I would love to use for my title page for 2017 but I'm ready to prep that now and they won't be here for, I'm guessing, 2 weeks (and I'm in the USA).

lasteve1 sounds like we are both on the same page when it comes to wether or not to subscribe. But I can chime in and add that her shipping is crazy fast. When I ordered from her sale Thanksgiving day... I had my goodies on Saturday! Oregon to Indiana in 2 days, which has happened about every time I have ordered from her. Amazing since it takes SC usually 5-7 (if I don't end up with a priority mail package) to get from KY to IN!

Totally agree about shipping being fast. The only thing I see being a hold up this month is the holiday weekend. Otherwise, her kit releases on the 28th always get to me quick enough that I can use them for the following month easily. I think calling a kit released on December 28th the "January Kit" would be confusing for some people, but that's essentially what it is, IMO. I can totally see how the flair is not a great thing for some people, but I think it's versatile enough to use or save and doesn't take up much room. (I use a $1 case organizer from Target Dollar Spot for mine). I'd rather her take the time to design amazing stamps and cards instead of using the time to find a new embellishment each month. However! I'd totally love rubbers in each kit, but I know not everyone is into them. What would you guys suggest for an embellishment? Not that I have any sway, just curious. A pack of stickers? Or a thing of label stickers? Or are you wanting ephemera? It's possibly something we could ask about. I also agree about a central location for finding previous kit releases being handy.

What prevents me from subscribing is the cards. They're generally in colors or sayings I'm not interested in.

I had the opposite experience with my Black Friday purchases, they took 2 weeks to even say shipped and then something like another week to get here... so long that it came the day before my Ali Edwards story kit that was released Dec 15!--maybe that was just a fluke because of more than typical amount of orders. I'm in NY.

Not making excuses, just clarifying that it's not the norm at all. My packages normally take 2-3 days to get to me in KC. I just double checked my October kit and it was sent out November 1st and arrived here November 3rd.

I would love if the labels were stickers instead of ones you had to cut out each month. I would also like rubber pieces, washi strips, vellum or transparency pieces, puffy or cork stickers... I would love if she rotated to have one embellishment per month instead of the flair.
I get that minimalism is her style though, and she doesn't have unlimited resources to produce, so honestly I really just want her to lose the flair.

I've been trying to save the images and upload them to pinterest myself but I haven't been good about it lol
