I have carbonite so I'm assuming it's all there, but I was walking out the door to go on a little vacation. Relaxing way to start.

Mine updated last night, seems to be ok at the moment.
A past update did wipe all my bookmarks though, which was a pain.

Operating system and all? You have a totally blank slate? Wow.
I had to reset a couple of settings in Chrome, but other than that the update went fine. I'm running Win10 on a pc.

That is indeed strange.
This month's MS update isn't nearly as large as usual either, which makes me winery if they're finally getting things under control or if they just took off for the holidays and didn't have the standard jumbo patch ready in time.

It's a free bookmark sync that works with the major browsers. I found it to be very helpful when working between two computers in different countries. It also made getting a new computer in October a breeze as far as putting all my bookmarks in place again easily. It also allows you to sign in and see your bookmarks when using another computer (say at a relative's home, the office, etc). Save

Thanking DH for getting me a mac for Christmas. yeah, i bit the bullet and got a MAC too after the last Windows update messed up my PC at home. up until then, i was otherwise all things Apple but my PC was the last hold out. Windows definitely did me in.
