Last minute decision to march at our state capitol. No hat or sign but at least I have a pink sweatshirt. Stay safe everyone!

So I couldn't physically march, but I had to do something. Thankfully, a friend shared a link with me yesterday for the disability march. I signed up for that and my picture has already been posted. They will be posting all weekend too! So I'm happy to join you ladies! disabilitymarch.com/2017/01/21/rebecca-price/

In our hotel room in Austin, getting ready to have breakfast and head out! There was a huge anti-Trump march here last night as well, but we didn't get here in time.

Did they take down all the big screen monitors on the mall from yesterday? I don't see them so I'm just wondering how everyone on the mall is listening and watching?

Hey, all: I'm very near the stage in Chicago and they just announced this is the biggest demonstration outside of DC. It was 150,000 about an hour ago.
In fact, they canceled the "march" part cause there are more people here than there is route space.
Warmest January day in a long time, too.
ETA: standing next to a broadcast reporter who just said more than 250,000

I wasn't planning to march but my mom and I decided late last night to join a friend at the march in Pittsburgh. They were expecting 3,000 - early count says 25,000 at the main march and several thousand at a separate march in the east end of the city. It was electric and I'm so glad to have participated in this moment in history.

I wasn't able to make it to the Los Angeles march because my 3 year old is sick, but I am so, so proud of my country (and world) right now. I'm awed by the tremendous show of support from our allies across the world.

I ended up with the flu but I'm actively following and supporting my friends who are there!
Way to go ladies!!!
Well Trump did say no one will be ignored again, so let's see if he's really listening.
( I doubt it and I half expect tweets belittling the marches)

I've never experienced anything like this. I'll try to post a few pictures later.

Because I can't be there DD is/was live streaming for me from Madison, WI..I hope Mr Paul Ryan is home and watching. Because of huge crowds cell service is sketchy so haven't heard/seen from DD in a bit.
I love that young, old, kids, grandparents, male, female, all race, religions are represented. Warms my heart.

We are just home from a huge but peaceful, empowered and inspiring march on the state capital. I'm waiting to see the official count, but it has to be at least 5,000-7,000. They were expecting 2,000. Lots of pussyhats. At least 4 people asked me what the hats were all about. I was able to share the 3 extra we made.

Did they take down all the big screen monitors on the mall from yesterday? I don't see them so I'm just wondering how everyone on the mall is listening and watching? The big screen monitors and stage were all one street over from the Mall on Independence Avenue. We weren't allowed to hold it on the Mall itself because of the inauguration, but were running parallel to it. There just wasn't enough space to hold everyone on Indpendence Avenue - it is narrower than the Mall - so people spilled over there to get some air and breathing room. I was able to hear Gloria Steinem and Muriel Bowser speak. Here I am with with my dh and our friend from SC:

I have been watching it on the news and I must say I am waiting rather impatiently for the tweet from our president. It seems too weird that he has been silent.

My health prevented me from going to a march, but I am so inspired by all of you. These marches and all who have participated are giving me hope. I love seeing people of every color, women and men, young and old, and especially meaningful to me, my disabled sisters. You all rock!!! 👏🏻🤗💪

The number of people on Independence Avenue is staggering. We only lasted there for about 2 hours - it was hard to hear and breath - we then went over to the Mall for another couple of hours and then headed back to the Metro.
I'm so glad to see the March still going on - it was supposed to be over by 3. It was so energizing and positive. And, it made the Magic Kingdom surfing Spring Break look like the "wide open plains." People are out in FORCE!!! Women and MEN! I love it!
I am wearing a "I stand with Planned Parenthood" shirt I made and many many women my age and older commented on it. There were also pink pussy Hats everywhere - with plenty of men wearing them too.
