My family thinks I'm a nut because I get up so early Right now, during the dd's summer vacation, I get up somewhere between 5:30 and 6:30 am ... I just can't sleep any longer no matter how late I go to bed ... During the school year I usually get up at about 5:00am ... I like to have at least an hour by myself with my coffee I am a SAHM so it's not like I have to rush around in the morning ... I just make lunches and then hit the computer What time do you get up?

Between 7:00 and 7:30 during the summer. I can't sleep later than that. When school starts I get up around 6:30. I like to start moving, feed the pets, check my email, etc. before my daughter gets up to get ready for school (7:00).

5am weekdays to go to work (my commute is an hour but can be 2 hours if I don't leave early). On the weekends around 8 ish. I can't sleep in like I used to, but then again I can do afternoon naps now - couldn't when I was in my 20s.

My family too thinks I'm nuts. I'm up about 3:15 a.m. Why? Because I pick up whatever mess wasn't put away the night before and get my stuff loaded into my car. I go to my exercise club at 4:30. Then I work out from 5-6. I return home, shower, then out the door by 7 for work.
Yes, I'm in constant motion until I get in the car to go to work.

Too effin' early! 5 am with dh, then ds is up at 6 for school. Since I drive him to school, I am showered & dressed so no going back to bed. However, I do often take an afternoon nap.

Usually 10-ish. But you have to remember I work second shift. So I go to bed around 2am most nights.

I'm a horrible sleeper. I usually wake up between 3:30-4:30. At 4:25 our local news starts so I usually put that on and listen/doze until about 5:30, when I get out of bed.

I get up between 4:30 and 5:30, mostly because I want that quiet time in the morning before my boys get up. I like to be able to drink my coffee and check emails,Facebook and this place. Before all hell breaks loose.

I'm always up by 7 am. I can't sleep later than that because I have to get up and pee. I can think of one morning this entire year that I actually slept until 8 and that was after being in the ER with my hubby until 2 am.

Anywhere from 5-7am depends on how late I'm up. Usually I consider 7 am to be sleeping in. I've been up at 4am often enough too though in summer.
Winter is a completely different story. If there's no sun to get up with then I don't seem to get up either. I have to drag myself out of bed at 7am

Always by 5:00, sometimes 15 or 20 minutes earlier. I don't set an alarm either, I just wake up naturally at that time. I love the early morning time alone with my coffee. Every once in a while I might sleep till 5:30 -- that's "sleeping in" for me.
Sometimes when I'm on call at the hospital (I sleep there when on call) if I've been called in the middle of the night I might sleep till 7:00 or so in the morning, but that's different. I have to be up around then anyway because the next duty shift starts at 8:00.

During the week 6am, weekends, usually around 7am.
8am is sleeping way in for me.
I like the quiet of the morning though before everyone else is up. Once school starts, my son will be getting up at 6am as well (first bell is 7:20)

During the school year my alarm is set at 6:00.
Now in the summer, it is set depending on the days activities.
That being said, I tend to wake up at 6:00 even without the alarm.

During the school year, I'm up by 6:30am. This year, however, it will be earlier as our bus has be re-routed and it will come 15 minutes earlier than last year. Kids will now have to be up by 6:45 as well. It will be rough for them that first week!
In summer, I get up with DH at 4:30am when he leaves and then I go back to bed after he's gone and am usually up by 7:30. Today though, I didn't wake up until 9:30!! Guess I needed that extra sleep!

Most mornings, by 5:30 AM.
7 AM is sleeping in.
Like you, I like to have some time to myself before the hustle and bustle of the day.

Well typically in the summer (I have summers off) I'd get up anywhere from 7-8am and that's sleeping in. But we just got the puppy and I'm up earlier now than I ever have. I'm NOT a morning person. It takes me at least an hour and a cup of coffee (or 3) to really shake the cobwebs out. Since getting the puppy, I've been up at 5:30 each morning. But it's good practice because with ds starting middle school in a week, he has to be to school an hour earlier...so that means a 5am wake up instead of 5:30. Ugh, I dread it already. LOL

As late as possible. Around 6:30 on work days if I'm working my normal schedule. Sometimes earlier if I'm working an earlier schedule.
Sunday I'm up by 7:45.
Saturday is my sleep in day. Usually sleep until between 9-10am.
