One of the last things I did as part of a couple was watch XH favorite shows with him. He like these corny country music things that were like Hee Haw for the geriatric set.
Little did I know that while I was good naturedly watching these silly things with him, he was carrying on a text conversation with a woman he was having an affair with.
Needless to say I haven't seen one minute of those shows since that night.
My son in law watches the craziest stuff. Drives my dd nuts.

Absolutely!! It is almost like he goes through all the channels and looks for the worst shows. He is now binge watching Adam 12 on Netflix. If I hear that siren one more time there's going to be trouble!!!!

We recently changed providers and have expanded offerings. Huge mistake!!! My DH is watching car auctions, car repairs, monkey fix it' road rally thunder nation, you name it. The worst part is, from behind he looks exactly exactly like his 80-something Dad as he watches tv: Maybe if I tell him I'll get his attention? But I won't guarantee it! , it's not helping love life

My dh likes those history channel shows but I do too. Counting Cars is one of my favorites. We went to the shop when we were in Vegas recently. Oh also, Impractical Jokers and most of the World's Dumbest and "Top Funniest" shows.

gale w w, that is great! we went to Vegas for a weekend, and had to stop in at the Gold & Silver Pawn shop, lol! (Big Hoss and Chumlee posed for a pic with my BF- he was so excited!!) There's very little my BF watches that I will not watch (or at least internet surf in front of), but when he gets in the mood to watch 'Locked Up Abroad' or the 'doing-time-in-prison' shows that have horrible dramatic re-creations, I find something else to do.

Ugh! My DH watches The History Channel and those documentaries with those narrators with a monotone voice!!! This is my husband. He does watch some good stuff that we watch together but if he is left on his own history channel. I cant really complain when I get to watch by myself it is usually Big Brother and Survivor

I watch more crappy tv than him as in it is crap tv. I watch the Real Housewives (BH, OC, NY, NJ). His crap is B level sci fi. I don't like it, but he does. To each their own.
I do find it funny you consider a show about classic cars crap but watch The Bachelor.

We went there on our last visit 2 yrs ago but none of the tv regulars were there (they said they were on vacation at the time but it was also a saturday so we figured they probably take weekends off). The kids loved seeing stuff they saw on tv.

My husband love Chasing Classic Cars. I think the host is easy on the eyes. But, he can watch the Mecum Auto auction for days upon days. So boring to me.. Glad I have a television in my scrapbook room!

He's a huge car racing fan, so we watch a lot of Formula 1 and Top Gear. I tolerate it because that usually ends by lunchtime. It's his movie choices that drive me bananas. I might as well not exist if Mad Max or The Matrix comes out and i HATE those types of movies.

My DH will watch just about anything. He's just addicted to TV. My mom says her husband only watches shows that involve "a horse and a gun." He loves old westerns.

Oh yes, he does. I can't even stand to be in the same room with most of "his" shows -- Impractical Jokers, Lizard Lick Towing, etc. It's so bizarre to me that he has this taste in tv shows when in all other ways, he doesn't.
