Elsabelle - hope you don't mind me starting Feb's thread and stealing your words from Jan. Here is our thread for sharing our scrappy goals and progress. Do you have monthly scrap goals and yearly scrap goals? Is there anything new you'd like to try? Anything you'd like to do differently?

I've struggled a bit with my Cocoa Daisy TN. Part of what I do I absolutely love but there's half of the notebook that ends up empty every month. This morning I decided I want to be able to fill those pages with 6 to 8 photos and stories every month. Just a picture and journalling. Simple and easy. Hopefully this will encourage me to take pictures on a regular basis. After doing DD, I only took 3 photos in January. I want to do better than that.
And then there are cards to make - Ronald McDonald house kid birthday cards and whatever the Cards for a Cause monthly organization needs. If time permits, I want to start working on kid cards for Royal Family Kids Camp.

Thanks, linda for setting this up. Hope it's ok that I'm putting other crafty pursuits and not just scrapbooking here. My yearly goals: 30 minutes on a crafty endeavor 5 of 7 days a week, even if it's cleaning the space. I've missed a couple of days, but still staying on target otherwise. I was under the weather for a few days, so I'm not going to beat myself up over it.I finished 140 layouts last year, and would like to try to at least meet that, if not exceed it. February goals: - I have 79 layout ideas listed with their appropriate photo dates beside them for 2014. I'd like to go through the list, see what I've actually completed, what still needs to be told, and print the photos for them. I'm putting this piece off for a few months.- Download my husband iphone photos They would not download with PSE. I think I'll have to go to his icloud folder and do it. 2/20- Download my dslr photos 2/16- Make paper kits for currently printed photos- Photo editing, Journaling and Photo printing (not sure what dates I'll choose here) Just need to print them 2/10- Once the above photos are printed, Kit them. 2/21- Make hand lotion 2/6- Complete my digital Christmas 2007 pages 2/12- I'd like to have at least 15 pages complete, so if I have less than that on my digi Christmas pages, I'd like to make it up in other layouts. 22 pages***ETA*** - I have some Love themed altered rolodex cards for a swap to finish and I also want to finish up the spring themed ones so I can ship them together, even though we haven't even signed up for the spring ones yet. Finished.

Linda , I don't mind at all. I'm having a slow start to my day so thank you for starting this month's thread. I don't have specific goals for February. I haven't been this close to being caught up in a very long time so my goal is to scrap as many of my 2016 pictures as possible. I'd be thrilled to get a dozen 2016 layouts done this month and maybe a couple of redos from my kids' younger years. After seeing LisaDV's post I remembered I want to start keeping track of my progress. Thanks for the reminder!

Jumping in this month. Last month I managed to do over a layout a day but only because I snuck away to a three day crop last weekend and got 32 layouts done (another 15-20 before that). I would love to do a total of at least 28 layouts this Feb. I know I won't get to scrap daily as we have some trips coming up that are taking us overnight elsewhere but as long as the end total is that I am happy.
28 layouts Dry emboss on at least 2 Stamp on at least 3 Use BLING (not enamel dot) on at least 3 Do at least one double page spread Use my Cameo on at least 3
All the above are to get me out of my rut of single page multi photo layouts.
Print out PL January 2017 photos, get them in the book at least
Keep up with "I Love you because" Project for first 14 days of month (cutting hearts and writing reasons we love our kids then posting on their doors)

Looks like lots of scrappy action coming up!
I have 2 pages with glue drying. I have been doing a lot of "flat" pages lately while I have been powering through the photos, but the kit I chose for these had flowers and buttons and artsy elements. It was fun to get inky and sticky! Will photograph and post and add to the total in my status bar when they are dry enough to move.

Great goals everyone!
My biggest goal this month is to redo my scrapbook room. It will require a lot of help from DH and DD17.
I want to continue to work on my December Documented and would like to finish it. I really love working on it, but life is just getting in the way. That happens, right?
Last night I finished ordering the pictures of DS30's LA and Japan trip. I'd like to get all the pictures sorted into the correct order in the 6x8 pockets and maybe scrap a few pages.
I'd like to begin doing the pages in DD19's first month of college. The pictures are in the correct order in the album just waiting to be scrapped.
I'd like to work on the 52 stories album. This is the fifth week of the year...only need four pages to be caught up. Once again, life has gotten in the way.
I'd like to order pictures from 2017...there's some stories to be told! Will I do a project life this year? Perfect time to figure that out and order all the January pictures.
I just hope that I'm able to be creative!

I love reading everyone's goals! Very motivating! I have to keep it simple for Feb since my scrap room became the dumping ground for all things that had no home over the holidays. So, I need to clean out the room (not really as bad as I thought) as well as my desk. I also hope to organize the leftover pics that did not make it into an album.
lisadv-this is really what I need to focus on. I can get so much done in that short period.

I tried ordering pictures from Sam's Club after years of not ordering from them. I used to go to another Sam's and their prints were awful. Well, these aren't much better. I'll have to pick through to find ones I can actually use. Good thing I got 50 free prints. I think I ordered 54 prints so it's not much of a loss to learn the same lesson.
I'm going back to Costco after my Sam's membership expires this summer. They always had great prints.

Elsabelle Ugh - what a pain. I either order from Shutterfly or Snapfish (depending on deals) or online at Walmart to pick up in store. I've spent the day scanning layouts - the 2011 album(s) is DONE and SCANNED - yay! Just over 200 pages worth. Then I tackled the box of memorabilia and loose photos from 2016 as well as the two photo orders that arrived in the mail today and yesterday - sorted them into layouts and put in the albums in page protectors. I do still need to order some more photos for 2016 but not too many - I'll try and tackle that tonight or tomorrow. Found the girls' school picture packets - so sorted them out as well and got them ready to mail out to various family members. So no actual scrapbooking but I've spent most of the day at my computer and/or scrapdesk and I feel like I got a lot accomplished.

I got a lot done last month, but I still fell short by 4 pages. I wanted to finish 2016 in my family album but didn't quite get there. So this month I want to finish 2016 and then put the final touches on 2015, which is mostly done already anyway. If I do that much I'll be happy. And then I can spend a little bit of time organizing my stuff before moving to 2014 next month.

Linda , once I looked through all the pictures I decided to reorder all of them from Snapfish. They won't get here in time for my Saturday crop but at least I know they'll look good when they get here. It does sound like you had a productive day. kirsty , I always get excited for people who are working on travel or vacation albums. It's so fun to relive those fun and exciting times.

February Goals:
I have a crop Fri night and all day Sat the 2nd weekend in Feb - I hope to finish most of my 'current' photos - they are from August to Dec 2016.
3rd weekend in February is a 3 day retreat at the beach. I will finish the current photos and then begin my next project. I used to do living history/reenacting and have tons of photos as does my DH, and of us together. I am starting with the 18th century. I have already gathered everything I own I've been collecting for years to scrap these photos. I hope to finish 18th century by May.
By the end of the year I'd love to have all of them scrapped - 17th c, 19th c and any others in this particular category!

I need to post here so I can keep myself accountable. I went looking for my daughter's high school album and it took me about a half hour before I realized-oops, she doesn't have one!! I have done some misc pages, but getting her a nearly complete album before she graduates is my goal. So for February: 1) find all pics of events I want to scrap and print 2) complete 8 layouts this month (I'm a slow scrapper, this will be a stretch)
I'm also creating a separate Shutterfly book with just her 4 years of cheer and I have nothing started. My only goal for this month is to get all the pictures uploaded to Shutterfly. I took tons of pictures for the team, so I need to sort through them.

My goals for February are to finish Project Life 2016, which is quite a big project for me as I only started really doing it at the end of November into December, but it's nearly done. I just have journaling and titles to do. I tend to get too detailed oriented on Project Life sometimes and have to reel it back in.
I also need to finish my December Daily as I'm not quite halfway through, on Day 10. I got really behind this last year and this is the latest I've ever finished these projects due to work and school and kids.
Couldn't drop Project Life though, even getting a late start. I've been doing it now for--this will be my fifth year and it is the one scrapbooking project that means the most to me when I complete it. It makes me really sentimental when I look through the previous year.
Things I'm going to do differently this year? This year, I am doing the monthly $10 subscription to Elle's Studio as picking out Project Life cards has turned out to be more time-consuming than I like and it will be nice to just have everything coordinate together. Less thought.

I got really behind this last year and this is the latest I've ever finished these projects due to work and school and kids I'm also still working on my DD. I work on something of it every day, even if it's just a little part. I'm about half way through. After my DD is finished, I want to jump into scrapping the school photos I have from winter concerts and school portraits from November & December.

I worked on a couple of layouts last night up to titles and journaling because I do those in batches. I also set out pictures for a third with supplies. I've been looking forward to using MME My Story ever since DD got glasses. It's perfect!

Lots of scrappy goals! And room reno's and organization of supplies definitely count! I am a little ahead of pace, having completed 4 pages in 2 days (finished 2 yesterday and 2 today), but I will be away on the weekend and again a couple of times this month, so I need to make hay while the sun shines! My pages today are Christmas ones (yay! an unstated goal this month is to finish with that theme so I can put my Christmas stash away!) I used KikiPea 's February sketch challenge to get me going on this one. If I am on track to meet my February scrap goal, I will have logged a total of 57 pages in the 2017 count in my status line by February 28th. That sounds like a lot, but certainly doable I think.

I've been looking forward to using MME My Story ever since DD got glasses. It's perfect! I have a little of this line and I got it because of the glasses! What I have of it is very pretty. I've been spending most of my days at DS30's place. I'll run to my appointments, but I need to be here for meals and packing his wound. He still can't sit and getting up and down is hard enough on him...I don't want him to have to worry about preparing food. When his surgery sight seals up he'll be able to do more. Today I brought a bag full of stuff to work on. I've almost got the first batch of his vacation pictures in the correct 6x8 pockets. I have Echo Parks Magical Adventure with me for the Disneyland pages, but doubt I get much done without a paper trimmer. My mind (and body) always seems to be worn out, so not much will be getting done until he heals more. No complaints...I'm glad I can be here to help him! Maybe I'll work on Kits a bit when DH goes to sleep tonight. I'm trying to organize some of my newer stuff while I wait to reorganize my room.

iheartpaper, bummer about the paper trimmer. It would have been nice to be able to keep busy. Being a caregiver is exhausting in so many ways. As a mom, though, I know there's no other place you'd rather be. I hope his healing continues to go well.
