Last night I was on a roll!
I actually was still awake enough to scrapbook after putting my younger kids to bed.
I whipped out 11 8x8's total yesterday for my December Daily! I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Wow! I'm almost embarrassed to post on this thread! My goals are not nearly so lofty as all of yours. LOL.
I decided recently to make a "year in review" album. I have done some of these pages for previous years and I think a separate album for them would be fun. I need to go through and find those pages I have already created and decide if I will keep them or do new ones.
I know some are pocket pages and some are traditional 12x12 so I need to decide if I will mix it up or stick with one format. I had originally thought I would do a double page spread with the pocket pages because that's easy to continue the next year on the back of the first. If I mix them it will cause issues with weird empty spaces. LOL! Just typing that makes me realize I've probably already decided.
So my not so lofty goal is to plan/start this new project. Anything else I manage to squeeze in will be bonus points.

No goals are too small nitad! Any chance to craft is wonderful. It's sooooo awesome to see some of you getting so much accomplished! Thank you for the well wishes! Sooner or later the surgery site will seal up and life will get back to normal. I did play with my goodies last night...bumped out some kits, etc. I'm HOPING to get the furniture moved Sunday, but DH has been working too much and may not want to.

I finished my December Daily last night!! Thirty-two pages complete. The previous two years I stuck to the 20 pages included in an 8x8 postbound album. This year I thought I'd be brilliant and add page protectors to the album I bought. Haha. It was the project that never ended. Next year I will squeeze all the pics into one unaltered album. I am just so happy that it is finished! I like how it turned out, but I'm so over Christmas scrapping!

My biggest goal this month is to redo my scrapbook room. If I had this on my list, nothing else would be on there!!! Then I understood while caring for DS30, you have some down time if you bring stuff to work on. Hope he's healing well. I used to do living history/reenacting That's so fascinating! We've been to the local (wherever we lived local) places that will occasionally have a day when the dress up in period pieces and tell you about the time frame, but seeing full on reenacting has been on our wishlist. so I need to make hay while the sun shines! This made me smile! Yes, we all need to do this. decided recently to make a "year in review" album. I have done some of these pages for previous years and I think a separate album for them would be fun. That would be a great album. I finished my December Daily last night!! Woo Hoo!

Lots of great goals this month. Good luck everyone.
I kitted most of my printed photos and ended up with 32 stories to tell. I started with August 2016 and have been editing to print and working the journaling up, or tagging them for digital pages. So far I have an additional 23 stories to tell. I hope to have at least 75 stories to tell (since some stories are double and multiple pages) before March. I hope to continue with my photo editing, hopefully, finishing by no later than mid- week

I want to get our summer vacation layouts finished. We have a vacation this month to Florida and I would like to get the others done before we leave. I also need to do some photo organization. Good luck to everyone with their goals. 2 double page layouts and 1 single page done of the vacation photos. I may try to crop the rest and do one more double page and call it done. Today is the only day I have to work on scrapping before we leave on vacation so I need to get to it.

I've finished two pages so far this month, a double and a single. And I have two more partially done on my desk. I've been trying using a homemade kit as the basis for my pages and even though I'm still reaching into my stash I'm surprised how much quicker I can put pages together.

It's nice to hear what everyone is working on, almost like we're scrapping together!
I have some finishing touches to do on Valentines cards, some new MFT stamps and dies, and a new SSS card kit to play with. The Super Bowl and crafting are the only things on my agenda for tomorrow.
After that, I'm going to focus on mixed media pieces to use as pocket page cards for 2016 & 2017. This is my plan to be able to have fun, create and work on albums at the same time. I'll repurpose some tags from last year's Tim Holtz Tags and Creative Chemistry projects. Photos are in the album, waiting to be fancied up.
I am also working on a little faith travelers journal. We recently found a church we like. I'm attending regularly for the first time since I was a kid. Our new pastors (a young couple) always have memorable sermons and inspire me.

For the past couple of days I've been moving stuff around on the same layout. I'm having trouble with 8.5x11 lately. I just can't seem to fit what I want on to the page. It's almost there, though. Hopefully I'll finish it today. Today is the crop at my house. It's gone from three friends coming over to one. I understand life gets in the way of the fun stuff sometimes, but it's funny because I expected this to happen. One is the 'always cancels' friend and one is the 'I'm not really interested' friend. The third is the rare species of 'always follows through' friend. Anyway, I'm about to start hauling stuff out to my dining room table so we can have supplies at our fingertips. I'd like to help her get a good start on the themed album she'll be starting.

Last month I started to update my 2016 album after completing my DD. I do a hybrid of 12x12 layouts and pocket pages. While many of the LO's are done, the pocket pages were not. The one thing I do is I make sure I print my photos at the end of the month and put them in pocket pages, then I do the cards usually in one sitting (some of you might know this as the batch process) and then I do the embellishing and journaling. I started from the beginning of my album about 3 weeks ago and I've been cruising in it. As of this morning I am up to Halloween. The other thing I do as a habit is that I upload photos minimally monthly to have them backed up from my phone and also on a photo processing app. I order photos anytime there are any free print deals so this makes it really easy as I can do it from my computer or my phone. I have finished journaling and embellishing these pages thru the month of November (see below) .In February, I hope to finish the remaining pocket pages. I realized when I was finishing updating the pages that I never printed my November 2016 photos, so I went ahead and had them printed. I did decide not to put my december pocket pages in my album - seems too redundant for me. I will do some LO's but for the daily process I will make note of it in the album so who ever is looking at it knows December is documented elsewhere. The photos for the 12x12 layouts for December have been printed. I have a list of about 10-12 layouts left for 2016 to finish. The list got longer but I am checking off one by one as I continue to make progress. I pulled one of my hip kits and have nearly killed it. I only have scraps and one piece of patterned paper done. I have been going through my photos and pulling a small handful of pictures to work on. I am working on my latest page right now and any time I pull a new kit from my stash, I do the same thing. One thing I have done differently this time around is that I have pulled a few items that I chronically ignore like washi, flair, stamps, sequins and tags. I'm proud of myself that I have done a good job using them in my last few layouts when I've used my kit. I still have to total up the number of layouts I have done with the kit I'm working with. I have my photos printed for January 2017 and need to go through those this month to start making a list of layouts to be made. List of layouts done by month.I also have to hold myself accountable by finishing up the planning for 1 project. I finished this and changed my original plan but it's done. I have the pictures printed but nothing else. They are under 20 pictures of my SD at a quinceanera. Too many for a layout so I'm thinking about a mini album - but keeping my options one. Need to get some ideas during the month of Feb.

You have a great process ctpea! Loved hearing how you do it. It's a bummer that two of your friends canceled, Elsabelle. You clearly know them well! You'll get that layout figured out. Today I brought the Disney stuff back to DS30's apartment. I added the papers to the pictures in their pockets and fussy cut some embellishments out of some of the papers. I wish I could be more motivated, but I took a nap...lol. He had a bad evening last night so DD17 and I had to pick up pepto and stuff and head back into the city for a late night. He's all good today, luckily. I'll be here for awhile longer them I'm heading home to hopefully rearrange some stuff so they can move furniture in the morning.

The one thing I do is I make sure I print my photos at the end of the month I applaud you on this. I've tried to be more regular about editing and printing photos, but just can't seem to do it. Probably because I know I need to edit, but "we hates it!" (read the " " like Gollum of Lord of the Rings. Today is the crop at my house Have fun! Hope you get lots accomplished. It's nice to hear what everyone is working on, almost like we're scrapping together! Agreed! You so deserve a nap! Caregiving takes a lot out of you, and you need to recharge. I finished my December Daily last night!!
