So excited. The stamp pad is like velvet! Can't wait to play with these puppies! Making my swatches was just the tip of the iceburg.

I just ordered three last night I love your swatches. It was interesting to watch his demo and it made me want to pull out my distress inks which I have been neglecting.

All I've had the chance to do is make swatches too. I am in love with these inks! They are so different from anything I've used! Definitely a winner! Hoping for all the colours to be released!

Although only incorporating stamping into scrapping, I've been wanting a dye-pigment fusion ink for years. I hope Ranger decides to expand their color selection, at least to include Ground Espresso, Hickory Smoke, & Black Soot. Patter - Seeing the colors in person, which is your favorite (or which do you plan to play with first)?

Check out the YouTube video from SSS and Hedgehog Hollow. She demos painting with oxide inks in black card stock and a good tip on how to control where you put oxide inks on your paper using a piece of acetate. youtu.be/_9gEd_zDERY

But I also LOVE broken china and cracked pistachio. I sure hope they release more of their bright colors in the Oxides!!!

For anyone who is near a Craft Warehouse (in Pacific NW) they are on sale 2 for $8! Naturally I could not pass up getting all the colors. They had a huge supply.

Woohoo! Looks like I will be making a run today! Do you mind sharing which location? I was in the Gresham store. But their ad flyer seems to be for all the stores. They had a big end cap display.

I remember Tim said on one of his demo videos that they only plan to make these colors unless customers contact them requesting more, so email Ranger everyone!

Btw...I have just searched for the last 10 minutes and these are basically sold out everywhere! Did you try scrapbook.com? They seem to be the only ones that had them in stock. Hopefully they have some left for you! (ooops, just checked. Looks like just four colors available now). And not sure about drying time. I didn't touch them to see. Ooops. Next time I play, I will try it out for ya.

Gresham was wiped out this morning. Beaverton was too, Vancouver had lots! Wow they had so many last week, I was wondering if they would ever sell them all. I guess they are a big hit, so for that price (2 for $8) it's no wonder they are gone already.

I remember Tim said on one of his demo videos that they only plan to make these colors unless customers contact them requesting more, so email Ranger everyone! I don't see them just releasing just these colors. They kind of said the same thing about the distress special editions that they sold in packs of three. And then they just started selling all of the products in the same colors. Thanks for posting the picture Patter! I really helps to see what colors I want. I plan to start with only the brighter colors for now. I'll be checking your blog to see what you create with them.

The last of my inks came today. So now I have 10. I stayed away from the browns but now I'm rethinking that. The colors are amazing. I've been playing since I got home from work. So far Wilted Violet is my favorite, followed closely by Cracked Pistachio. All of the colors are lovely. I'm so excited for my snow day tomorrow!

I did two layouts using them on the background. My paper warped a bit because of the water I used. I think the colors are prettier in real life than in the photos. Arty by Jacqueline Bruce, on Flickr Friends by Jacqueline Bruce, on Flickr

The Violet is my favorite too, and I generally am not a purple person. It's so velvety and beautiful!

Patter .... can these be used to make a watercolor like background? I love the color splashes you create with your bible journaling, I think it is so beautiful. I'd like to do something like that on pages, but what sort of product do you use for that?

I'd like to do something like that on pages, but what sort of product do you use for that? Yes they can be used for that! You can put ink down on your craft mat, spritz with water, and use that way. Dry between layers of color. I used broken china on something I will post on Sunday that way. So fun. I love them. I will say that I have not tried it on an actual Bible page yet but I don't see why it wouldn't work. And thank you for your sweet words.
