UPDATE 4/23/17: Almost two weeks of pure heaven now. Yep, still loving it SO very much! UPDATE 4/16/17: Okay, for the past two nights, I have slept in for an hour longer than normal. AND I would have slept longer had hubby not gotten up. I have not slept past 5:30 a.m. in YEARS. This thing is amazing, and I think my body likes it. I never thought I would sleep in. WOW! Oh my word, I never knew a mattress could be SO amazing. We have slept on it for three nights now, and my back is not longer throbbing and telling me to get out of bed. This morning I woke up 5 minutes before hubby's alarm, and I just layed there thinking how awesome I felt and that I could lay there forever. Truly the best mattress we have had in 6+ years! It is also tall. I love a tall bed. It's 33 inches from the floor. They do have a "slimmer" version available too. The quality is beyond compare. Truly, truly happy! I have figured out I am a "coil mattress" girl not a "memory foam" girl. And remind me if you want an update in a month or so. I would be happy to share. Here are a few photos.

oh yes, please update on the mattress in a month or so! I know with the Purple, initially you loved it but then you didn't care for it later on.
Buying a new mattress is such an ordeal. We'e had our sleep number now for about 9 years now, and I'm ready for a new one. That mattress looks like a dream!

So we will see how tonight goes. I am pretty sure it will be amazing. And yes, I thought this mattress was so pretty that I didn't want to put sheets on it. It truly is a dream.

I want an update in a month too. We have had memory foam toppers but never a bed and I just don't think it is right for us. Our current bed is tolerable. DH would love if I found a new one.
*I also love tall mattresses.

What firmness did you get, and how firm is it really? We are about to the point of needing a new mattress and DH does not want another Sleep Number - he likes a firm bed and I like a softer comfy one. I see a 'disagreement' in our future.

I was just thinking about you last night as I lay in my amazing Purple. I'm so glad you finally found a mattress you love. A good night's sleep will change your life.
I'm still in love with my Purple. My back issues are so much better now. I used to wake up with horrible lower back pain, now I wake up pain free.
So happy we both found what worked for us!
Here's to sleeping like a baby. 💤💤💤

I'd also love an update in a month! We so wanted the Purple Bed to work, but I've never hurt so much from a bed. I have Rheumtoid Arthritis and Sjogrens Syndrome, I sure as heck don't need any "help" with making my joints hurt.
Maybe I'm a coil spring girl like you ,Patter. Even sleeping on hotel mattresses didn't mess me up like the Purple Bed.

I would love an update. I would also love to know the firmness! I am happy that the two of you found the right mattress! We have not been so lucky yet.

I have a saatva mattress which I am starting to dislike. If I am confined to bed for any length of time (fibro) a valley starts to form which makes my back worse. We twist the mattress periodically, but you can't flip it. I'm not happy with this mattress.
ETA: I thought, you know this mattress is under warranty, I'm gonna call them. I did, and they are sending a new mattress, they think there was a manufacturing issue! Wow, awesome customer service. They are also letting me get the 11" instead of the 14", that extra 3 inches made making the bed with new sheets hard for me.

I think that's when bulb went off in my head that I am a coil spring girl. beachbum , beebee, and Rhondito as far as firmness, we got the "Luxury Firm." I had an online chat with them before I purchased the mattress. I told them hubby prefers something more firm, and I prefer something softer. They recommended the Luxury Firm, and so far we are both happy. I lay down and just say "agh."

My side leaks air every night. So hubby and I fight over sleeping on his side. He leaves for work about midnight and comes home 6am. I'm clearly planted in his spot during that time! LOL

I feel you on getting confined to bed, I went thru heart problems last spring. Getting put on bed rest will make you realize you aren't too happy with your mattress.

We need to buy some mattresses for our guest bedrooms so I went to Consumer Reports online to check this company out. Here is what they said: Saatva's innerspring mattress is billed as a luxury firm, but there's little that was luxurious or firm about this product. It was no better than so-so at support, whether you're on your back or your side, and the mattress readily transferred vibrations from one side of the bed to the other. Among pluses, it showed little change in performance after eight years of simulated use. Because it measures about 16 inches, though, you'll likely need deep-pocket fitted sheets.
OP, I hope it continues to give you a fabulous night's sleep. Obviously lots of people love their mattresses or they wouldn't be in business.

Consumer Reports and I have never seen eye to eye so their report does not surprise me. Usually if they are a fan of something, I don't like it thus I don't subscribe. The sites I researched all had great reviews, and for me, this mattress is utterly luxurious and firm. They are also incorrect in the depth. It is 14 1/2 inches not 16. Another reason I don't care for CR. Their info is not always correct IMO.

Thanks for sharing. Dh and I are in the market for a new mattress, and I love hearing reviews. You are welcome. Read the link below. Saatva is one of the higher scoring mattresses. And I didn't realize how important coils are to me instead of memory foam. I think people need to discover too which their body prefers. www.sleeplikethedead.com/bed-mattress-review-home.html

We desperately need a new mattress. I wonder if that's why I'm continually awake throughout the night, plus wake up changing from my hips to feet with a numb arm.
I'm not familiar w/that brand, so need to check if it's sold in our area.
