I'm finally going to a crop for the first time in several years! I started messaging @ihavetoomuchstuff after seeing her nearby location on the Where are you Peaing From? thread, and she's been so awesome! She directed me to her scrapping group, and I was able to sign up for a one day crop next month. I'm psyched! I want to be prepared, so I'm going back and gathering some of our prep threads from the past and linking them here. I have a lot of reading to do ... If you experienced crop-goers have a do and don't list of your own, please add it here ! (I'll be starting a list of my own here, and adding to it little by little) Favorite crop packing or kit making video? Add it here! Any random advice? Add it here! Did I miss a thread or a post from Peas or elsewhere that ought to be here? Add it! Here's my Packing for a Crop reading list: Favorite Containers thread Craziest Thing You Brought thread Favorite Tips and Tricks thread What You've Forgotten thread Packing for a Crop thread Making Kits for a Crop thread Extra Table Space thread Crop Totes thread Crop List from 2PeasinaBucket thread (thank you scrappington ! ) and Snacks for Crop thread (perhaps the most important thread of all) And one more question I'll put out to all of you, especially those of you who were away cropping this past weekend... What did you bring that made your time away just a little more special? Did you bring along anything out of the ordinary? Maybe something extra comfortable just for you ? Or maybe something to spread the fun and make other people happy? (Looking for ideas)

This crop by a CM rep is held in the activity room of a daycare center. There is a trunk show that day, but I don't have much of anything to try to sell. My EDITED 1 Day Crop Packing List (for this crop and so I can amend it easily for future crops): I started out with WAY too much on my list, and really pared it down. Strategies: 1. Use totes and containers I already own. 2. Sort photos and make page kits. 3. It's okay to work on a LO but not finish it. I can add more details later at home. 4. pick up large coffee from Dunkin, subway for lunch ~~~ Bring: Carry On Luggage: cutting board, ATG, ATG tape refills, ruler, scotch tape dispenser, chair cushion, extension cord, phone charger, embellishment packs in zipper compartment, headphones Snapware Box #1: x-acto knife, extra blades, scissors, pens, pencils, glue stick, liquid glue, ribbons, washi, scotch tape refill Snapware Box #2: five 6x6 paper pads File Tote: photos and small flat kit items in page protectors 12x12 cardstock white/kraft 8.5x11 cardstock white/kraft/black large paper scraps 12x12 scrap board to protect table from ink and glue Cooler: water, peanut m&ms, salad, sub Purse, phone with photos of page plans, cash for trunk show Stuff to sell Add your list, if you like!

@ Peamac, THANKS! When I was sorting through refugee threads, I started to get sucked into a few of the funny ones, and I remembered the Nightmare thread but didn't dare go looking for it. I had completely forgotten about the Star Wars one though. Those are going to have to wait for me until tonight, I think. Definite time suck, but well worth the trip!
