That's really all I wanted to say. They are one of my favorite things to read each week, even if I don't always comment. I jump from the reading thread to Goodreads to my e-library and find tons of stuff to read 'next'.

I'm lame lately and haven't been reading much ... I did finish "Rosemary's Baby" of all things though, hehehehehe!!!!!
2Peas Book Club will be starting again in September (or whatever I should call it) ... I'll be reading fluff over the summer though ... not sure if anyone is interested in knowing those titles!

Reading thread is the best evah. But no fluff for me. I used to read more of it, I will admit.

LOVE Batya reading thread. Didn't participate much because of illness but am going to try to be better about posting.
Probably very late to the party, but I am reading Game of Thrones first book. This will take awhile but I am enjoying it. My norm is usually mysteries.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (not sure why its taken me so long to read this one) I was just loaned a copy of this book and the next one in the series. I haven't started it yet, but plan on it being part of my summer reading!

OK, my fluff titles this summer will be:
S.E.C.R.E.T. Revealed by L. Marie Adeline ... the third in a series that is much better than "50 Shades", hehehehehe!!!!
Big Girl Panties by Stephanie Evanovich
The Wedding Girl by Madeleine Wickham
Cocktails For Three by Madeleine Wickham
... and a couple of creepy ones ... NOS4A2 and Heart Shaped Box by Joe Hill
Then I need to get my hands on the September Book Club book :-)

I'm currently reading Mr Mercedes by Stephen King. How do you write in BOLD on here?

I think my last post on TwoPeas was on the reading thread.
I am currently reading The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss (Kingkiller Trilogy Book 2). It's awesome! If you like Game of Thrones or other fantasy like that, this series is perfect for you. Great world-building, great characters... Just awesome!

I'm currently reading Mr Mercedes by Stephen King. How do you write in BOLD on here? Can't do it in QuickReply, I think. Click on "Create Post" and then you'll get a toolbar. Much easier than on 2Peas!

I love the reading threads - I hope they continue. I am just starting Top Secret Twenty-One, the latest Evanovich. I don't enjoy the series as much as I used to, but they are quick reads, so at least for now, I will continue reading them.

Where do I find "Create Post"? Farts. It's "Reply" and it should be on the lower right. Once you actually write the post, there will be a "Create Post" button.

I hope Batya finds this board and continues with us to post reading material. I have read so many great books from the NSBR weekly reading thread!

I hope Batya finds this board and continues with us to post reading material. I have read so many great books from the NSBR weekly reading thread! Ditto! I am currently reading "These is my words: The Diary of Sarah Agnes Prime 1881-1901" and "Sharp Objects." Enjoying both!

I was a regular lurker (sounds creepy) on the reading threads and got a lot of ideas. I hope this thread continues and Batya finds her way here!
Last week, I finished The Vacationers, by Emma Straub. I really enjoyed it. It is about a dysfunctional family who travels to Majorca for a family vacation. It was a light read and went quickly.
I just started China Dolls by Lisa See. I'm not far enough into it to give it a good review but I really enjoyed Shanghai Girls and so far am liking it.
I am also reading A Clash of Kings, the 2nd book in the Game of Thrones series. My goal is to finish these over the summer. I am obsessed with the tv series and now that we have to wait forever for the next season, I am hoping to satisfy my cravings with the books!
I am going on vacation next week so I have download several books to read.

yes Let's continue that thread! I got so many great books that I normally would not have found on my own. After hearing the shocking news that 2peas was gone, my first thought was "how will I find my next books?!?!?"

Blindsquirrel, I loved THESE IS MY WORDS! Nancy E. Turner has another book out called MY NAME IS RESOLUTE. I'm planning to get to that sometime soon.
Also, a PP mentioned they were reading A GAME OF THRONES. I'm another reader late to the party on that one--I just finished it. I watched all the HBO series, so it was good to read the book and get more details and a memory refresher!

I always read this thread on 2peas although I didn't participate much. Will try to do better. Someone said in the FB group that Batya was there so I'm sure she will make her way here! I am currently reading Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King.

YES YES YES! One of the first thoughts I had when I saw the board was shut down was how much I'll miss the reading threads.

Yes, yes, yes!
I'm reading Jennifer Weiner's All Fall Down. It's a really moving portrait of a wife and mom struggling with addiction. It's one of her best books, IMO, and I highly recommend.

This will take awhile but I am enjoying it. My norm is usually mysteries. Diane I'll join that club then. I've just started the Game of Thrones, first book, and I've never even seen the TV show! lol -- I'm about half way through. I had to stop after about two chapters and go back and make a cheat-sheet of all the names. Yes, I know there are family trees in the back. But I needed to have one on a note card that I'm using as my bookmark so I could just glance at it. I also made a few notes on certain people, so I'd know what was what when I met them again. lol
